Safety has become the most important issue in operation and maintenance in nuclear power plants. Therefore, It is necessary to find defects in on early stage and to identify them to be corrected. In this paper, the method to monitor and diagnose the condition of a reciprocating pump, which is used to supply the cooling water was developed. To characterize the parameters of the reciprocating pump with the data, a flow loop was designed and constructed. The pump was operated under the various conditions and the defects were introduced on pump to examine their effects on the signal. Normal and defected signatures were gathered and analyzed to develop the patterns of defects. Based on the database, the diagnostic algorithm was developed and tested.

The purpose of this study is to compare the biocompatibility of commercial purity Ti, Ti-6Al-4V and Ti-6Al-7Nb alloy specimens with and without surface treatment in mouse abdominal connective tissue in vivo. Each metal was implanted into specific abdominal subdermal tissue site of female mouse. After 4 weeks, the implants were removed and abdominal tissues were fixed, dehydrated and embedded in glycol methacrylate resin. And the tissues were histologically prepared for microscopical evaluation. It was characterized by the presence of connective tissue with fibrous capsule surrounding the implant. The fibrous tissue surrounding the implant was studied to determine the biocompatibility of implanted metals. The average thickness of the fibrous capsule formed around the implant was much thinner for the hydrogen peroxide added hydrochloric acid solution-treated specimen than for the others. The results of this evaluation indicate that modification of the surface properties<br/> of titanium and titanium alloy implants changes the biological properties in the abdominal connective tissue. In conclusion, these observations suggest that the proper surface treatment performed<br/> in the study is effective for the improvement of biocompatibility.
Helmet Mounted Display 장비를 사용한 공대지 표적의 위치정보 획득

무장 전투기와 같은 공격용 항공기는 정밀한 공대공 또는 공대지 공격을 위해 표적의 정확한 위치 정보를 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 레이더나 FLIR과 같은 표적추적센서 없이 공대공 유도탄의 seeker head를 조종사의 머리가 가리키는 방향으로 유도하는 장비인 HMD만을 사용하여 공대지 표적의 위치정보를 획득하는 방법을 제시한다. 시뮬레이션 실험을 행한 결과 HMD를 수동 센서로 사용할 경우 다른 표적추적센서와의 연동 없이 HMD 만으로도 높은 정밀도의 표적 위치 정보를 획득할 수 있음을 발견하였다. An attack aircraft such as a fighter needs an accurate location information of a target for the exact air-to-air or air-to-ground attack. In this paper a method is proposed that generates a location information of an air-to-ground target just in use of HMD without the target tracking sensors such as the radar and the FLIR. HMD is an embedded device to induce the seeker header to indicate the direction of a pilot's head. As a simulation result, it is founded that the target location information is able to be generated with a high degree of precision by using of HMD as a passive sensor.

The Integrated Water Infrastructures Safety Management Platform(WINS<sup>+</sup>) provides safety information of water infrastructures such as dams, weirs, bridges, cut slopes, retaining walls and levees designated as the first class infrastructures to be maintained according to the nations’s safety law. The WINS<sup>+</sup> is incorporated with a computerized Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) system that provides crisis warning level (green/blue/yellow/orange/red) to central and individual disaster response managers of waterside structures. Thus it is expected that by using the WINS<sup>+</sup> we may strengthen disaster responsiveness and reduce the time for recovery and response at emergency.
윤리적 리더십이 직무성과에 미치는 영향과 개인-상사 적합성의 조절효과 : 경기 남부지역 경찰공무원을 대상으로

This study explores how ethical leadership influences job performance and how person-supervisor fit moderates the relationship. Building on social exchange theory, this study hypothesizes that ethical leadership is positively associated with job performance and person-supervisor fit shapes the relationship between ethical leadership and job performance based on leader-member exchange theory. Using data drawn from police officers in Gyeonggi southern province, South Korea, this study finds the positive effect of ethical leadership on job performance. Further analysis shows that the person-supervisor fit significantly moderates the relationship between ethical leadership and job performance such that police organizations benefit more from high levels of person-supervisor fit than low levels of person-supervisor fit. The implications and contributions of these results for public administration are discussed.
