        과학자에 대한 초등학교 일반 학생과 과학 영재반 학생의 인식 비교 분석

        This study was designed to compare the understanding of ordinary elementary school students and scientifically gifted students about scientists. 473 fourth, fifth, and sixth graders in ordinary elementary schools and 40 students attending scientific educational institutions for the gifted were studied with the help of questionnaires and interviews. The survey showed that there were no significant differences between the two subject groups in relation to the external images of scientists. The subjects turned out to have four fixed external images. The scientifically gifted students had a better understanding of the internal images of scientists than ordinary elementary school students. Both the subject groups turned out to be influenced by the press media and off-campus education, thinking that scientists served as inventors producing something useful in daily life rather than as researchers studying natural phenomena or laws. It was found out that both groups admired Edison. The ordinary students respected Einstein and Jang Yeong-Sil whereas the scientifically gifted students respected Curie, Jang Yeong-Sil, and Nobel. The subjects admired them because of their achievements instead of their backgrounds or individual characteristics.

      • 베이즈 예측분포법에 의한 線型回歸 模型의 異常點 탐지법 및 比較

        선형회귀 모형에서 이상점을 찾아내는 방법으로 베이지안 예측법을 제안하고자 한다. 이 방법을 사용하여 이상점을 구한 후, 기존 R.D. Cook(1977)의 방법과 K. cChaloner et al(1988)의 방법을 사용하여 구한 이상점을 비교하였다. 끝으로 예제를 통해 우리가 제시한 방법의 장점을 설명하였다. A bayesian predictive approach for detecting outliers in a linear model is developed. The suggested method is compared with the other existing methods ; R.D. Cook(1977)'s method and K. Chaloner et al.(1988)'s method. Some relative merits of our method are derived from the limited sampling experiment.

      • 상태공간모형추정의 Akaike방법과 Aoki방법의 효율성 비교

        Among the several state space model building in time series, we investigate the forecasting ability of the Akaike method of model estimation and Aoki's method. There are important differences between two model estimation. Akaike uses the normalized Hankel matrix to extract state vector, while Aoki's method does not. In order to compare the efficiency of two method, we exploit the Monte Carlo approach for the several simulate multivariate co-related time series model.

        카프로락탐 급성폭로에 의한 경련 증례

        Two young men were seen with nausea, vomiting, dermatitis, seizure after two-four days of occupational exposure to caprolactam, a nylon fiber precursor. There were no significant results in laboratory test, brain CT, FEG except leukocytosis, hyperglycemia. Caprolactam has been shown to induce convulsive disorder in experimental animal studies and Tuma et al(1981) described that one worker acutely exposed to caprolactam developed generalized tonic-clonic seizure with leukocytosis. The coincidence of typical skin lesion with otherwise unexplained generalized tonic-clonic seizure in those young men strongly suggests that caprolactam was causal agent.

        한약재의 절단 , 수치 , 전탕법에 관한 연구 Ⅲ : 厚朴 Cortex Magnoliae

        To improve the quality control of frequantly used oriental medicinal plants, the cutting, processing and decokting methods of Magnolia obovata were examined. The contents of magnolol of Magnolia obovata were analysed by HPLC at various conditions as the standard component. The content of magnolol increased about 3% in baked Magnolia obovata. The soaking and steaming processing for easy cutting resulted in the loss of the standard components about 10%. The best decokting conditions which were determined by the yield of magnolol were as follows : the size was below 0.5㎝, soaking time was 0 minutes, decokting time was 75 minutes after boiling.

      • 이동평균모형의 붓스트랩 추정에 관한연구

        붓스트랩(bootstrap) 방법에 의한 이동평균 모형 추정 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 경험적 자료와 시뮬레이션 자료를 통하여 잭나이프 방법과의 유효성을 비교하였고, 이동평균 모형의 모분포의 가정에 대한 붓스트랩 추정의 로버스트성을 Monte Carlo 실험으로 비교해 보았다. Bootstrap method for the estimation of the moving average process is suggested. Based on an empirical and a simulated data set, relative merits of the method over the jackknife method is compared. Its robustness to the population distribution is also studied by a Monte Carlo experiments.

        초등학생의 환경 의식 변화에 관한 종단적 경향성 조사

        The purpose of this study was to survey the change of environmental awareness of elementary school students under the longitudinal-sectional research design. For this study, the questionnaire was used for 599 fifth and sixth grade students living in Seoul, Anseong, and Yangjugun. The results of this survey, compared and analyzed with those of 1987, 1992, 1996, and 2000, were summarized as follows: In the point of environmental awareness, the interest for animal protection and conservation of nature increase but the interest for environmental pollution decreased. There was a high awareness about water pollution, and the awareness about the exhaust of automobile was constantly increasing. Regarding students' knowledge about the environment, their attitudes, and changes of practice, the rate of interest for environmental pollution decreased but the rate of interest for animal protection and conservation of nature increased. As a result of this study, it was found that the students' awareness about the environment varied according to the survey year. By changing the environment education according to this variation, it can be possible to effectively teach students to increase their environmental awareness and develop a habit of environmental protection.

      • 음악요법이 산부인과 수술환자의 활력징후와 마취회복 및 동통에 미치는 영향

        Background and Purpose: The purpose of this study was to prove the effect of music therapy on anesthetic recovery, vital signs and pain control for postoperative patients in the recovery room as a nursing intervention. Methods: We compared 35 experimental groups who received music therapy with 35 control groups. All of the subjects were obstetric and gynecological operation patients. The experimental and control groups were observed for the level of anesthetic recovery (PAR score), the frequency of supplement analgesic use for pain control, and vital signs at arrival and after 15, 30, 60 minute in recovery room. Statistical data analysis using repeated measures ANOYA and x^2-tests were performed. Result; Vital signs did not show a significant difference when comparing the two groups except for the respiration rate. For anesthetic recovery, there were significant changes in respiration state in the experimental group compared to the control group. The frequency of analgesics administration was significantly reduced in the experimental group compared to the control group by music therapy. The 63 % of the experimental group responded comfortably and peacefully in subjective feelings. Conclusion: This study showed the effects o3 music therapy, which applied to helping postoperative patients recover from anesthesia and reducing the frequency of supplement analgesic use for pain. It is recommended to apply music therapy right after surgery in the recovery room as a nursing intervention if a patient wants.

      • 성장곡선의 조정화 판별법에 관한 연구

        소표본하의 성장곡선판별의 경우 최적 분류 법칙 추정시 발생되는 표본공분산 행렬의 비정칙문제가 판별의 정확성을 떨어뜨리는 것으로 지적되어 왔다. 본 논문은 이 문제의 해결책으로 표본공분산행렬의 조정화기법을 도입하여서 새로운 최적 성장곡선 분류법칙을 제안하였다. 제안된 분류법칙에 의한 판별법의 효율을 모의 실험에 의해 조사한 결과, 오분류오차 기준하에서 새로운 판별법이 기준의 것보다 우수할 뿐 아니라 비정칙 문제도 완전히 해결할 수 있는 방법임을 보였다. The problem considered here is the classification of the growth curve model useful especially for that with small training sample of sizes. It has long been pointed out that where we have small training samples, the samples, the sample convariance matrices for the optimal growth curve classification rule to be either singular or near singular. As a result, even there have been couple of well defined optimal classification rules, the problem of small training samples prevents the analyst to have correct classification result. This paper deals with a way out of this problem. By using a regulation technique of the sample covariance materices, new classification rule for the growth curve model is suggested study, it is shown that the suggested classification rule gives better classification than the other previously suggested method in terms of error rate criterion.
