Eight varieties of apples were sampled periodically from Jeonju area during their growth and ripening and the change of the suger contents was surveyed. The sugars in the apples were first detected by T.L.C. method and then these sugars were fractionated by determining the contents of total soluble sugar, reducing sugar and aldohexose. The result were summarized as follows: 1. From the early growing stage of the fruit body three kinds of sugar, D-glucose, D-fructose, and sucrose were detected in all the sample varieties. Of these sugars D-fructose was always detected as the biggest dark green spot. 2. At harvest, the content of fructose was 1.14-3.21 times of glucose and the content of sucrose 1.06-2.13 times of glucose. The content of non-reducing sugar increased continuously and remarkably with the growing of the fruit. The reducing sugar content increased remarkably at the early growing stage but after the fruit grew to a certain size the sugar content was observed to be fixed or to decrease slightly. 3. The toal soluble surgar content was at the range of 8.23-8.61 percent of early-maturing varieties and about 10 per cent of late-maturing varieties. Of late-maturing varieties golden delicious showed the highest sugar content, 12.14 per cent and ben davis the lowest, 8.75 per cent.

The free amino acid content of the apples from Jeonju district was determined by T L C densitometry method and the results were summarized as follows : 1. ll amino acids ; leucine, methionine, valine, tyrosine, alanine, threonine, serine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, asparagin, and glutamine were found in the apples. 2. Six amino acids ; tyrosine, alanine, serine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid and asparagin could be determined quantitatively by'T'L C densitometry method and five amino acids; threonine, glutamine, methionine, leucine, valine were only detected slightly. 3. Asparagin was contained most abundantly in all the apples except that the content of aspartic acid in Jonathan at its matured stage was higher than that of asparagin. 4. Total amino acid content was high from the middle stage of growing to the maturing stage and was slightly low when fully matured. At this time the difference in the contents of amino acids between the sample varieties was very slight.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of support, interactional justice and moral hazard of food service franchise system on the relationship satisfaction and on the relationship solidarity. Domestic food service franchise business, which accounts for just more than half of the whole franchise business, suffers from various problems such as the difficulty of small scale, the poor management of head office, the excessive competition of peers, the lack of distribution infrastructure and the low level of business management information because most franchisees are small and subsistence stores except for a few large companies. The sample of this study was selected in the companies with more than 100 participating franchisees among the companies (fast food, bakery, chicken, korean food, hof/liquor, drinks/coffee/ice cream company) registered in the korea franchise association. Those companies must have franchise headquarters to subsist for more than 5 years. Questionnaire survey period was 1 month from January 1st to January 31st 2015. 450questionnaires were distributed and 422 questionnaires were collected, 378 questionnaires were used in empirical analysis except for 44 questionnaires responded insincerely For statistical analysis, confirmatory factor analysis was performed using SPSS 12.0. Finally, the structural model for the reliability and validity is verified through exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis to analyze final destination. Which the derived results were verified based on the hypothesis.
환대산업 경영 전공 대학생들의 통합적 사고가 커리어 목표몰입을 매개로 커리어 관여도에 미치는 영향

The cognitive and attitudinal factors to influence the hospitality majored students’ career engagement need to be figured out because of the importance for real career development. Focused on the hospitality majored students, this study has been undertaken to examine whether holistic thinking influences career engagement mediated through career goal commitment. Holistic thinking includes lower variables of causality, attitude toward contradictions, perception of change, and locus of attention. The number of 249 cases was used for final analysis out of 260 cases surveyed. The results were analyzed using structural equation modeling. The results indicate the hospitality majored students’ causality, perception, and locus of attention make positively significant impact on their career goal commitment whereas contradiction to change fails to make the impact. Also, career goal commitment positively influences career engagement. In addition, locus of attention directly influences career engagement whereas the other three lower variables fail to make it. Finally, career goal commitment partially mediate the relationship between holistic thinking and career engagement. Based on these results, applying education paradigm of holistic thinking to the hospitality majored students has been suggested to help them to make proactive career engagement.
A Case of Qigong-Induced Mental Disorder: a Differential Diagnosis

Objectives:Qi gong is generally considered to be safe in most people when learned from a qualified instructor. But abnormal psychosomatic responses or mental disorder may be induced when Qigong is practiced inappropriately, excessively, or when practiced unguided in predisposed individuals. Here we reported a case of Qigong-induced Mental Disorder (QIMD). A woman who had not had a psychiatric disease, by chance started Qigong practice, and felt raising- Qisymptoms, including headache. Methods:We identified the unique characteristics of QIMD and discusses differences with other diseases such as somatoform disorder and schizophrenia. Results:To conclude, QIMD does not come under current somatoform disorder subtypes and schizophrenia.Conclusions:It has distinct characters that occurring after Qigong practice, symptoms of upper body, feeling that something to rise up.

A study was made on acid catalyEed hydrolysis of lactose and whey and the results are sum-marifed as follows :1 . Hydrolysis by sulfuric acid was slower than hydrolysis by hydrochloric acid.2. 30% lactose solution was optimum for hydrolysis by sulfuric acid.3 . Hydrolysis of lactose in permeate from ultra filteration treatment wa9 faster than thatin whey of similar lactose content.
