        상한론(傷寒論)에서 치자(梔子)의 기원(基原)과 1일 복용량

        Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the origin and daily dose of Gardeniae Fructus in Shanghanlun. Methods: Define the origin and daily dose of Gardeniae Fructus by searching Shanhanlun and Herbology Books (本草書). And Compared these with those of current Gardeniae Fructus. Results: According to Shanhanlun, the origin of Gardeniae Fructus is Gardenia jasminoides, but G. jasminoides f. longicarpa must excluded since originally it was used for dyeing. Among the 8 prescriptions containing Gardeniae Fructus, 15 Gardeniae Fructuses for the daliy dose in Chijabekpi-tang(Zhizibopi-tang) is assumed to be 14 Gardeniae Fructuses, as it is found 14 in many other prescriptions same in other prescriptions. The quantity of 14 Gardeniae Fructuses in Shananlun is 3 Ryang(兩), which is equal to 19.5 g in the current measurement. 1 Gardeniae Fructus is equal to 1.4 g. The length of the Gardeniae Fructus in the market which is produced in korea is 22-27 mm, and the diameter is 15-19 mm, whereas in China it is 20-25 mm, and the diameter is 13-18 mm. This meets the standard requirements of the Pharmacopoeia. Conclusions: As a result from above, the origin of Gardeniae Fructus is Gardenia jasminoides, but G. jasminoides f. longicarpa must be excluded. The recommended dose in a day is 14 Gardeniae Fructuses, which is equivalent to 19.5 g, the amount generally used in Shanhanlun.

        ≪상한론≫ 탕제에서 한약 하루 먹는 량 최대와 최소 비율에근거한 복용량 1 兩 교정

        Objectives : The purpose of this study was to proofread ‘one ryang’ in the Decoction of ≪Treatise on Cold Damage Diseases≫. Methods : I found out the ratio of maximum dose and minimum dose in this book. On the basis of the ratio, I corrected ‘one ryang’ in diverse decoctions. Results : In any decoction, maximum dose of medicinal medica in one decoction could not exceed four times minimum dose. Specifically, in the case that maximum dose in one decoction is sixteen ryang, it could not exceed eight times minimum dose in the same decoction. Any medicinal medica used in two decoctions or more, its maximum dose could not exceed four times minimum dose in other decoctions. On the basis of these results, it should be changed into three ryangs that are one ryang dose of ‘Haematitum’ of Seonbokdaeja Tang, ‘Ginger’ of Bujageongang Tang, Baektong Tang, Baektonggajeodamjep Tang and Senggangsasim Tang. Furthermore it should be changed into two ryangs that are one ryang dose of ‘Coptidis Rhizoma’ of Sohamhyung Tang, ‘Ginger’ of Dowha Tang, ‘Ginseng Radix’ of Whubaksenggangbanhagamchoinsam Tang, ‘Polyporus, Poria Sclerotium, Alismatis Rhizoma, Talcum and Asini Corii Colla’ of Jeoryeong Tang, ‘Cimicifugae Rhizoma, Atractylodis Rhizoma Alba and Anemarrhenae Rhizoma’ of Mahuangshengma Tang and ‘Cassiae Cortex Interior’ of Gyejigamchoryonggolmoryeo Tang. Conclusions : These results suggest that one ryang of thirteen medicinal medica such as Haematitum or Ginger of eleven decoctions such as Seonbokdaeja Tang or Bujageongang Tang should be changed into two or three ryangs.

        Kimi(氣味) means five tastes(五味), sour, bitterness, sweetness, ho taste and astringency, and four conditions(四氣), cold, hot, warm and cool, in the oriental medicine. This is defined based on yn-yang 5 evolutive phases(陰陽五行), and 5 evolutive phases on the change of season. Four seasons, spring, summer, autumn, winter are clearly different but, the rainy season(辰夏) is not. In the theory of Ki(氣), not worn not hot(平) is included in addition to the four conditions that is because the rainy season is not differentiated clearly. Kimi have relations to the four seasons, that is, warm and hot taste is considered as spring, hot and astringency as summer, not worm not hot and sweetness as rainy season, cool and sour as autumn, and cold and bitterness as winter. 4 conditions can be classified more detail, because the changes of the seasons are continuous. In the action mechanisms, Gardeniae Fructus reduces Heat of Insufficiency Type of the upper class of medicinal herbs, and Rhel Rhizoma reduces Exessive Heat(實熱) of the under class of the. The assay methods for four groups medicines can be developed in three ways according to the indicators as follows. First, by the indicator which defines cold-acting medicine(寒性藥) such as Rhei Rhizoma, Coptidis Rhizoma, Scutellariae Radix, Gardeniae Fructus and is differentialted clearly from Hot-acting medicine(熱性藥) at the same time. Second, when the medicines are classified into another four groups as Drugs for Dispelling Internal Cold, Drugs for Regulatings Ki Flow(理氣藥), by the indicator which satisfies each group and is differentiated from other groups, at the same time. Third, by the indicator which has to be defined for each medicinal herb for four classification, individually.

        상한론(傷寒論) 탕제에서 행인(杏仁) 1 일 복용량

        Objectives : Daily Dose of Apricot Kernel in Treatise on Cold Damage Diseases is usually written in the number, sometimes in the volume. The seed coat and acute end of Apricot Kernel must be removed, so author want to know its daily dose and proportion of seed coat and acute end. Methods : Assuming dosage by editions of Treatise on Cold Damage Diseases. And comparing it with measured weight of Apricot Kernel distributed in market. Results : The number of prescriptions including Apricot Kernel is ten, and eight of that are made to decoction, two of that are made to pill prescription. And two of decoction are made by reducing and uniting prescriptions. The daily dose of six decoction are 70, 47 or 35 in numbers. The 70 Apricot Kernel except seed coat and acute end are 1/2 Sheong ($33m{\ell}$) in volume, 3 Ryang (19.5 g) in weight. Weight of Apricot Kernel the most common in market is 0.28 ~ 0.38 g. 70 Apricot Kernel are 23.10 g, seed coats of that are 1.15 g, acute ends of that are 2.43 g, 70 Apricot Kernel except seed coat and acute end is 19.5 g. So, seed coat is 5%, acute end is 10% by proportion, which is the same with it assumed based on writings. Conclusions : 70 Apricot Kernel except seed coat and acute end are 1/2 Sheong, 3 Ryang, and it is 33 mL and 19.5 g respectively. It also correspond with current market goods.

        傷寒論 方寸匕의 현대용량추정

        Objectives : The purpose of this study was to determine new assumptive value of one Bangchonbi of Jung-Kyung fomulae. Methods : Find out the Bangchonbi that the one spoon of Jangjunggyung period, and measured use Bangchonbi. And find out the new assumptive vaule. Results : 1) The 1 Bangchonbi is 2.0mL. 2) The 1 Bangchonbi of Banhasan is 1.1g, Sayuksan is 1.0g. Orungsan is 0.8g. 3) The 1 Bangchonbi of jeoksukji power is 1.8g, munhabsan power is 2.5g. 4) The 1 Bangchonbi of moryutaeksasan is 1.0g. 5) The 1 Bangchonbi of sogonsan is 0.19g. Conclusions : According to the results mentioned above, the assumptive value of 1 Bangchonbi is 2.0mL.
