      • 연속열역학을 이용한 다성분 혼합물의 상평형

        Continuous thermodynamics has been applied for modeling of phase equilibria in multicomponent mixtures, to avoid disadvantages of the pseudo-component and dey-component method. In this paper continuous thermodynamic relations formulated by using the Pate-Teja equation of state were adopted for calculations of phase equilibria in natural gas mixtures, crude oil mixtures and mixtures extracted by supercritical CO? fluids. Calculations of phase equilibria were performed by two procedures ; a moment method coupled with the beta distribution function and a quadrature method combined with Gaussian-Legendre polynomials. Calculated results were compared with experimental data. It was showed that continuous thermodynamic frameworks considered in this paper were well-matched to experimental data.

      • 비선형 약산법에 의한 지진응답평가 비교

        In an effort to develop design methods based on performance it is clear that the evaluation of the inelastic response is required. The methods available to the design engineer today are nonlinear time history analyses, or monotonic static nonlinear analyses, or equivalent static analyses with simulated inelastic influences. Some codes proposed the capacity spectrum method based on the nonlinear static(pushover) analysis to determine earthquake-induced demand given the structure pushover curve. This procedure is conceptually simple but iterative and time consuming with some errors. This paper considers a nonlinear direct spectrum method to evaluate seismic performance of structure, without iterative computations, given the structural initial elastic period and yield strength from the pushover analysis, especially for multi degree of freedom structures. The purpose of this paper is to investigate accuracy and confidence of this method from a point of view of various earthquakes.

        The use of electric power has increased sharply because of the requirement of comfort thermal in cooling system and unusual changes in weather. Especially, it was concentrated some time in a day, so difficult to supply electric power nationwide. And it is required efficient use of electric power. In order to resolve, we have to understand the concept about the thermal storage of structures and the simple knowledge about the electric use and the power rate calculation. And to reduce the maximum electric load and cut down cooling cost, we will find a way to use EnergyPlus program that shows the simulation controlled optimum temperature. 우리나라는 그간 비약적인 경제 성장 및 국민의 생활수준 향상과 더불어 그에 따른 생활 패턴의 변화에 의해 에너지 사용량이 급격히 증가하고 있다. 특히 19세기 이후 인류 산업 문명의 지속적인 개발로 인한 지구 온난화와 기상 이변 그리고 이에 따른 하절기 평균 온도 상승 등의 외부 열 환경 조건은 악화 되어 가는 반면 거주자 생활수준의 향상 및 열 환경에 대한 쾌적성 요구는 증가 하였다. 이러한 현상은 오늘날 건물의 대형화·기밀화 등의 특성과 맞물러 공조 설비의 중요성과 그 규모 확대의 필요성을 부각 시키고 있으며, 이는 실내 요구 조건 충족을 위한 에너지 투입량의 증가 특히 하절기 냉방을 위한 전력 소비량의 급격한 증가라는 결과 를 가져왔다. 실제 한국전력 공사에서 발표한 최근5년간 전력 수급량 표 l 을 비교해 보면 연중 최대 전력 수요가 2000년 41,007MW에서 2004년 51,264MW로 아주 크게 증가하였고 그에 따른 설비용량 또한 47,876MW에서 59,129MW 로 크게 향상된 것을 알수 있다. 또한 우리나라는 4계절에 따른 기온 변화가 뚜렷하여 전력수요도 계절에 따라 변화하고 있는데, 그림 l 에서 볼 수 있듯이 기온이 비교적 온화한 봄·가을철에는 전력수요가 낮고, 기온이 가장 높은 여름철에 최대를 기록한다. 그 중 외기 온도가 최대치를 보이는 특정시간대에 편중되어 국가적 전력수요 관리에 차질을 빚고 있다 실제 시간대별 전력수요를 알아보면 그림 2에서 보는 바와 같이 하루 중 전력수요가 가장 낮은 시간은 새벽 4시 -6시경이며,7시부터 수요가 증가하기 시작하여 12시 에 오전 피크를 이루었다가 점심시간에 일시적인 수요 감소가 생기며 다시 중기-하여 15시경 최대부하를 이룬 전력수요는 17시까지 이루어지다가 한낮의 더위가 점차 누그러지기 시작하는 17시부터 점차 감소한다. 물론 최근 한전 자체에서의 15 시에 집중되는 전력 수요의 최대부하를 낮추기 위한 각종 전력수요관리로 인해 15시에 최대부하가 발생하지 않는 경우도 있다(송귀남 2004).

      • 초고층 아파트의 일조 일조환경 분석에 관한 연구

        As the modern city grows larger and larger, overpopulated and over-storied apartments caused violation of its sunlight, view and privacy that became social problems. Especially when after the tower-type block have shown up and the formal type of apartment which is plate-type block had been disappearing ever since. Because of this phenomenon, higher and overcrowded apartment became very common and it even made an apartment which made all the block as tower-type block. As the time goes by, it is very easy to see one person pressing charges against another for his or her right to sunshine nowadays. In this study, we will use Auto-CAD to analyze the sunlight environment of tower-type block apartment for its expected harmful element of sunlight. And we will use this data to present basic data of how sunlight environments effect on buildings when it is being designed as apartment.

      • 사무소건물의 열원방식별 에너지 사용량 및 경제성 분석

        Energy is required to maintain adequate temperature in a building. In order to maintain indoor temperature properly, energy is necessary. DOE-2.1E, building energy analysis program, was selected for energy consumption simulation for an office building, and BLCC program is used to make an investment related decision based on building life-cycle costs by considering for all project-related costs. Both programs assess the energy efficiency of each thermal equipment, and the LCC evaluation of an office building. The results presented that Ice-Bon thermal storage system is the most efficient plant in this study.

      • 다양한 구조특성에 따른 비선형 약산법들의 비교

        In performance-based design methods, it is clear that the evaluation of the nonlinear response is required. Some codes proposed the capacity spectrum method(CSM) based on the nonlinear static analysis to determine earthquake induced demand given the structure pushover curve. This procedure is conceptually simple but iterative and time consuming with some errors. The nonlinear direct spectrum method(NDSM) is proposed and studied to evaluate nonlinear response of structures, without iterative computations, given by the structural linear vibration period and yield strength from the pushover analysis, especially for shear buildings system. The purpose of this paper is to compare accuracy of approximate nonlinear methods with respect to various structure characteristics.

      • 자연형 설비시스템을 이용한 에너지 절약형 주택설계에 관한 연구

        The energy usage is suddenly increasing by change of the economic growth which is caused by industrial development and improved house environments. So, energy research for the building that regards domestic energy usage will apply the energy decrease technique in the design phase and will analyze its energy usage from constructing & operating the system to have a high interest for environmental & efficient building development. As follows, this research will define the energy used amount which will be necessary to the building from the research. For reducing the energy expense the ENERGY-10 program will compare with the existing system for seeking the optimal design plan for the building.

      • 전신성 홍반성 낭창의 임상적 고찰

        The epidemiology, diagnostic criteria, clinical features, symptoms and signs laboratory findings, kidney pathology, and clinicopathologic correlation of systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE) were analyzed. The 63 patients studied were managed at the Department of Internal medicine, CNUH, from January 1983 to December 1997. Kidney biopsy was performed in 53 patients out of 63 patients with SLE. The results were as follows: 1. The ratio of male to female was 1:26. They were 12 to 71 years old and mean age was 32.1 years old. The peak age incidence was 4th decades(30%). 2. The most frequent chief complaint on admission was generalized edema. Most patients complain two or more symptoms. 3. Immunologic and renal disorders were the most frequently observed in the ARA criteria of SLE. And the positive ANA, hematologic disorder, malar rash, and arthritis, were observed in order of frequency. 4. Among the 53 patients with renal biopsy, 30 patients revealed class Ⅳ lupus nephritis(56%), class II in 12 patients(23%), class V in 8 patients(15%) and class III in 2 patients(6%). 5. The cases of lupus nephritis represented as nephrotic syndrome were high in the class IV with 68% and class V with 86%. 6. Of 30 patients who can be followed up, 5 patients resulted in death(17 % of mortality). They "were 14 to 57 years old and mean age was 28 years old. Follow up duration were from 1 month to 6 years and 3 months, and mean duration was 1 year and 1 month, but 3 cases 7. The causes of death were as follows: Two cases were due to seizure and coma resulted from CNS involvement. One was sepsis due to miliary the & pneumonia. One was dilated cardiomyopathy and heart failure due to cardiac ac involvement. And the other one was sepsis and acute renal failure resulted from cellulitis. 8. Prednisolone was used in all patients basically, and methyl-prednisolone pulse therapy, antimalarials and alkylating agents were used in some cases. In the cases of combined therapy, the activity of SLE was well controlled.

      • 성인 급성 신부전의 원인 및 예후인자 분석

        Acute renal failure is a frequent complication in hospitalized patients and is strongly related to the mortality. The Clinical outcome and prognostic factors of acute renal failure(ARF) have been analyzed by many authors. The present study describes the etiologic and clinical aspects, as well as other factors related to mortality. All the patients suffering from acute renal failure admitted during the period of January 1993 - August 1998 were included in the study. The average age of the patients was 52±17 years and mortality rate was 24%. The causes of acute renal failure were hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome(HFRS), sepsis, renal hypoperfusion, urinary tract obstruction, acute tubular necrosis, etc. The etiology of ARF was a significant prognostic factor on mortality in ARF. Other significant prognostic factors were oliguria, organ failure, use of vasoconstrictors, hypotension, serum bicarbonate, premorbid conditions, sepsis, neurologic complications, gastrointestinal bleeding. On the other hands, operation, sex, anemia, thrombocytopenia, hypoalbuminemia, BUN, serum creatinine, and hyperkalemia were not significant factors for the mortality. We conclude that major prognostic factors of acute renal failure arc premorbid conditions, sepsis and multiorgan failure, and they are responsible for persistent high mortality of acute renal failure despite of advances of medical care.

      • 한국의 아토피피부염 환자에서 혼합생약추출물 함유 로션의 효능에 대한 예비연구

        Background: The choice of topical agents is very important for patients with atopic dermatitis (AD) because mild to moderate AD-related symptoms and skin lesions could be significantly relieved with appropriate topical treatment. This study was performed to evaluate the effectineness of a mixed herbal extract lotion containing the extract of Sophorae Radix, Cinnamomi Cortex, Saururi Herba Seu Rhizoma and Aurantii Immaturus Fructus in relieving symptoms and skin lesions associated with AD. Methods: A total of 24 patients who were suffering mild to moderate AD applied topical lotions, i.e. the test lotion on the right antecubital fossa and the control lotion on the left antecubital fossa twice daily for up to 4 weeks. The treatment efficacy was evaluated by the measurement of skin hydration and trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL) on the same site at each visit. Additional evaluation methods were the investigator global assessment (IGA) and the visual analogue scale visual analogue scale for pruritus. Results: The test lotion-applied right antecubital fossa achieved more clinical improvement than the control lotion-applied left antecubital fossa. TEWL on the test side more significantly decreased than that on the control side after 4 weeks of lotion application. There were slightly more improvements in both the IGA and patient assessment of pruritus on the test side. Conclusion: Mixed herbal extract lotions containing the extracts of Sophorae Radix, Cinnamomi Cortex, Saururi Herba Seu Rhizoma and Aurantii Immaturus Fructus can relieve symptoms, such as pruritus, in AD patients.
