유씨소요산(柳氏逍遙散)과 유씨귀비탕(柳氏歸脾湯)의 항(抗)스트레스 효과(效果)에 관(關)한 임상적(臨床的) 연구(硏究)

The objective of this paper is to verify clinical effects of Lyu's Soyosan(柳氏逍遙散) and Lyu's Kwipithang(柳氏歸脾湯). They were prescribed to the enperimental student group suffering from mental stress and annoyed by psychological instability. From the biochemical examination before and after medication, we measure the amount of hormonal variation in thyroid hormone(TSH, $T_4$) and adrenocortical hormone(ACTH, cortisol) The results are as follows. 1. The average of self-rating anxiety scale(SAS) in test group is $41.00\;{\pm}\;7.84$. This value is statistical significant and higher than one of normal person(age 20-39). The average of a global assesment of recent stress(GARS) scale is $28.62\;{\pm}9.00$. There is statistical correlation coefficient between SAS and GARS (p < 0.001). 2. Both Lyu's Soyosan(柳氏逍遙散) and Lyu.s Kwipithang (柳氏歸脾湯) groups show statistically significant reduction of total cholesterol and triglyceride level in serum lipid after ten day medication. 3. It is observed that Lyu's Soyisan(柳氏逍遙散) and Luy's Kwipithang (柳氏歸脾湯) groups have increasing tendency of TSH. The statistically significant reduction of $T_4$ was found in two groups after ten day medicaton. 4. It is observed that Lyu's Soyosan(柳氏逍遙散) and Lyu's kwipithang (柳氏歸脾湯) group have statistically significant reduction of serum cortisol level after ten day medication, Both groups have statistically significant reduction of plasma ACTH level after twenty day medication. From these results, it is verified that both Lyu's Soyosan(柳氏逍遙散) and Lyu's Kwipithang (柳氏歸脾湯) have anti-stress effects against psychological instability and mental stress. The Lyu's Soyosn(柳氏逍遙散) shows special effectiveness in depression of liver-energy(肝氣鬱結) and the Lyu's Kwipitang (柳氏歸脾湯) is also effective in deficiency heart-blood(心血不足).

Various researches have been undertaken to develop a new soil improvement method which can replace sand compaction pile(SCP) due to an increase of sand cost. Pack pile is one of the new methods reinforced by pack material such as geotextiles. In this study, a series of triaxial compression tests are carried out to find out shear strength characteristics of sand with and without pack. Total 6 different types of geotextile are selected for pack material. Based on the test results, stiffness of pack increases the strength of sand considerably.

This study deals with effects of surface treatment on the bending fatigue strength of SCM420 spur gears. We manufactured gears using manufacture processes that are currently used in most gears manufacturing companies, we applied heat-treatment, and then we applied shot peening. In addition, we investigated the effect these surface-treatments had on hardened layer and compression residual stress in the risk section of the teeth. The fatigue test at a constant stress amplitude is performed by using an electrohydraulic serve-controlled pulsating tester. The S-N curves are obtained and illustrated. We investigated the effect of surface-treatment on fatigue strength and the position of crack of gear teeth.

In order to study the fire resistance of castellated composite beams with ortho-hexagonal holes and different beamend restraints, temperature rise tests with constant load were conducted on full-scale castellated composite beams with orthohexagonal holes and hinge or rigid joint constraints to investigate the temperature distribution, displacement changes and failure patterns of castellated composite beams with two different beam-end constraints during the whole course of fire. The results show that (1) During the fire, the axial pressure and horizontal expansion deformation generated in the rigid joint constrained composite beam were larger than those in the hinge joint constrained castellated composite beam, and their maximum horizontal expansion displacements were 30.2 mm and 17.8 mm, respectively. (2) After the fire, the cracks on the slab surface of the castellated composite beam with rigid joint constraint were more complicated than hinge restraint, and the failure more serious; the lower flange and web at the ends of the castellated steal beams with hinge and rigid joint constraint produced serious local buckling, and the angles of the ortho-hexagonal holes at the support cracked; the welds at both ends of the castellated composite beam with rigid joint constraint cracked. (3) Based on the simplified calculation method of solid-web composite beam, considering the effect of holes on the web, this paper calculated the axial force and displacement of the beam-end constrained castellated composite beams under fire. The calculation results agreed well with the test results.
The bearing capacity of monolithic composite beams with laminated slab throughout fire process

To investigate the failure form, bending stiffness, and residual bearing capacity of monolithic composite beams with laminated slab throughout the fire process, fire tests of four monolithic composite beams with laminated slab were performed under constant load and temperature increase. Different factors such as post-pouring layer thickness, lap length of the prefabricated bottom slab, and stud spacing were considered in the fire test. The test results demonstrate that, under the same fire time and external load, the post-pouring layer thickness and stud spacing are important parameters that affect the fire resistance of monolithic composite beams with laminated slab. Similarly, the post-pouring layer thickness and stud spacing are the predominant factors affecting the bending stiffness of monolithic composite beams with laminated slab after fire exposure. The failure forms of monolithic composite beams with laminated slab after the fire are approximately the same as those at room temperature. In both cases, the beams underwent bending failure. However, after exposure to the high-temperature fire, cracks appeared earlier in the monolithic composite beams with laminated slab, and both the residual bearing capacity and bending stiffness were reduced by varying degrees. In this test, the bending bearing capacity and ductility of monolithic composite beams with laminated slab after fire exposure were reduced by 23.3% and 55.4%, respectively, compared with those tested at room temperature. Calculation methods for the residual bearing capacity and bending stiffness of monolithic composite beams with laminated slab in and after the fire are proposed, which demonstrated good accuracy.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Sintering behavior and phase transformations in yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ)-based thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) control their applications in gas turbines operated at high working temperatures required for improved fuel efficiency. In this work, to control the sintering behavior and reduce phase transformations in YSZ-based TBCs, lanthanum zirconate (LZ) powder was blended with the YSZ feedstock powder, and YSZ-LZ composite coatings were fabricated using the air plasma spraying method. The influence of mixture weight ratio of YSZ to LZ (75:25, 50:50, and 25:75) on the sintering behavior and phase stability of the composite coatings was investigated through the isothermal exposure test at 1100, 1300, and 1400 °C. The as-coated composites showed the pyrochlore and tetragonal phases, indicating that the phases are LZ and YSZ, respectively. As the exposure temperature was increased, the phase transformation of YSZ from the tetragonal phase to the monoclinic phase was accelerated. The content of monoclinic phase was changed with the increasing LZ content after thermal exposure at 1300 and 1400 °C. In addition, the composites showed different sintering and bridging behaviors at the adjacent splats with the LZ content. The composites prepared with the blended feedstock powders of LZ and YSZ produced an obvious effect on the phase stability and mechanical properties.</P>

Generally, Oxidization film are generated by friction and wear in lubricant oil. It is effect that the heat and pressure act on contact area. Because the electrons movement progress the oxidization, if the electrons movement be regulated, the thickness of oxidization film can be regulated and friction characteristics can be improved. But electronic current can deteriorate friction characteristics, so various characteristics must be investigated on transforming of electronic current. Therefor, using the Norton equation, short current were transformed between ball and disk. Also, an experiment was carried out using ball on disk type tester. So, we studied up on effect of current for friction characteristics.
