全北地域의 人口의 長期 豫測 : A modle of Chonbuk

In this paper the population of Chonbuk province is projected by the survival method. The population projection is the essential factor to establish the long-run developing plan for regional economy. The accuracy of the estimated population is required to accomplish the developing plan efficiently. The estimated population (1990-2001) will be 2,172,015(1990),2,169,948(1995) and 2,247,593(2001) respectively. In the characteristics of population structure, the portions of the young age(0―14) and the old age(60―) to the total population will be over 23% and 13% in 2001. The population structure of Chonbuk will change to the types of the developed country step by step. When the decrease of the young age group and the increase of the old age group are anticipated, the welfare plan for the old age will be gradually required. The rapid decrease of Meon-level population results in the lack of labor forces in rural area. The counterplan to it should be considerated.

This paper attempts to analyze the direction of agricultural polices of Chonbuk region in the trade liberalization and to suggest an alternative regional policy of agricultural development in Chonbuk province. The increasing pressure of agricultural import liberalization from abroad has given great burden to Chonbuk agricultural sector which has lagged behind the average growth of national agriculture. The charactersitics of Chonbuk agriculture can be summarized as wide-spread small scale farming, greater portion of old-aged labor and rice monoculture system. However, the agricultural production sector of Chonbuk becomes more and more commercialized and the consumption patterns of agricultural products become diversified and high-quality oriented continuously. The present situation of Chonbuk agricultural is in a vulnerable state to those changes. Divergent measures in Chonbuk agriculture are urgently requested for the improvement of present production structure. Among these, the increase of Chonbuk local government investment for various in infra-structure of agricultural facilitis should be carried out in such a way that agricultural productivies can be enhansed. Furthermore, it is also important to emphasize on fostering specific activities that develops an appropriate technologies induced by changes of resource endowments.

중심금속chromium(III)와 리간드인.amino acid(L-serine)[serine=HOCH₂CH(NH₂)CO₂H]사이의 결합의 특성을 파악하기 위하여 저온(13K)에서의 luminescence 스펙트럼과 excitation 스펙트럼을 측정하였다.Tris (L-serinato)chromium(III)착화합물은 산소 원자 3개와 질소원자 3개로 이루어진 facial 형태의 geometry를 가진 착화합물이다.Amino acid 를 리간드로 가진 다른 착화합물과는 달리, serine 착화합물은 β탄소위치에 hydroxy group이 치환되어 있어서 electronic effect 와 steric dffect의 효과를 기대할 수 있다. 산소원자의 π비등방성 결합을 포함한 ligand field analysis로 부터, serine 착화합물의 자세한 electronic structure와 결합특성을 살펴보기로 하겠다. Low temperature (13K)luminescence and excitation spectra were measured to anlayze the bonding characteristics between Cr(III)and amino acid(L-serne) ligand. Tris(L-serinato)chromium(III) complex has three oxygen and three nitrogen ligand atoms in facial geometry. Unlike oter complexes with amino acids, additional hydroxyl group in β-carbon tom is expected to have electronic an steric effects. From the ligand field analysis including anisotropic πbonding on oxygen atom, we found that both oxygen and nitrogen atom is weak σdonor. The splitting of electronic lines and bonding characteristics in the title compound are explained by considering the geometric effect, especially anisotropic πbonding.
골다공성 척추 압박골절 환자에 대한 경피적 척추체성형술 : 최근 2년간 경험 Recent 2-year Experience

Objective: To describe the therapeutic outcome of percutaneous vertebroplasty for the treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures(OVCF) in recent years with review of literature. Methods: The authors have retrospectively reviewed a consecutive group of patients who underwent percutaneous vertebroplasty in our institution between May 2000 and October 2002. The procedures were performed with Jamshidi needle via transpedicular approach followed by injection of polymethyl- methacrylate(PMMA) into the involved vertebral bodies. Prolo's economic and functional rating scale was used for therapeutic outcome assessments. Results: There were 91 patients(69 female, 22 male) with OVCF, with involvement of 147 vertebral bodies. The mean age was 72 years. The average BMD t-score was -3.78, indicative of severe osteoporosis. Minimal follow-up period was three months. And among these patients, 82.5% of patients were maintained over good condition. Extrusion of PMMA cement beyond the confines of the vertebral body was obseved in 13 cases(8.8%). Although most of them improved with conservative treatments without morbidities, two developed serious complications, one being pulmonary embolism and the other paraparesis. Conclusion: Percutaneous vertebroplasty is one of the effective minimal invasive treatment modalities in OVCF. However, proper biomechanical studies supporting these procedures are not fully evidenced. Serious complications, although rare, should be prevented with the aid of improved techniques and newer biocompatible materials along with better understanding of biodynamic and biomechanical impact on normal and already compromised vertebraes.
충북 남부지역 중소 제조기업의 경쟁력 제고를 위한 경영 및 애로기술 실태조사 연구

본 연구에서는 충북 남부 3개군 지역(옥천 · 보은 · 영동)의 중소 제조기업의 경영실태 및 애로기술을 대상으로 실증조사 되었다.·지역의 특정상황의 전제하에 지방 중소기업들의 실질적인 문제점들을 발견하고, 그 개선 방안을 탐색함은 물론 산 · 학 · 연 컨소시엄 사업의 성공적인 수행을 위해 시도되었다.세부적으로는 중소 제조기업의 경영 및 애로기술 특성을 일반적 사항, 경영애로요인, 경영전략, 현장개선기법, 정보화, 제품 및 공정 기술상의 애로기술 현황파악의 6개 영역으로 조사되었다. 조사결과들은 추후 산 · 학 · 연 공동기술개발 사업에 있어 창의적, 틈새적 과제발굴 및 신제품 기술개발의 토대마련이 될 뿐 아니라, 지역경제 발전을 위한 산 · 학 관의 지원 전략 수립에 적극 활용 될 것으로 판단된다.
당뇨병환자에서 뇨증 Fibronectin농도의 증가에 관한 연구

Plasma fibronectin is an α₂-glyoprotein, which is produced by vascular endothelial cells. Raised level of plasma fibronectin has been observed in diabetic patients particularly in the presence of microvascular complications. However, no available data exist about urine level of this glycoprotein in diabetic patients. We measured urine fibronectin level by ELISA methods in 54 diabetic patients who have microvascular comlications or not. The following results were obtained. 1) Urine fibronectin level(㎍/g creatinine) in diabetic group(1740.0±678.0) is increased compaired with those in normal control group(471.0±59.0). but this results were not significantly different among two groups(P>0.05). 2) Urine fibronectin level(㎍/g creatinine) was significantly increased in patients with nephropathy (6188.0±3144.0) compared with those in normal control group(471.0±59.0) and patients without nephropathy(645.0±251.0)(P<0.001). 3) There were a significant correlation between BUN, creatinine, creatinine clearance, 24hr urine total protein and urine fibronectin level in diabetic patients. Our data suggest that urine fibronectin excretion level might be used as a sensitive guide for diabectic nephropathy.
