The amplitude and the location of sound sources are obtained by measuring the acoustic intensity using two closely spaced microphones. In this study, in order to identify the noise radiation characteristics, noise radiational pattern on the right hand side, the left hand side and the front part of the vaccum cleaner are investigated at 315Hz, 630Hz, 1600Hz, and 8000Hz resectively. As the results of experiment, the air induction pipe is verified the important noise radiation at 315Hz and 630Hz, and the air exhaust pipe at 1600Hz. Above all, the moter and the fan influenced at the high frequency of 8000Hz.

This study has been focused on the excess attenuation measured for acoustic interference of path length differences and ground effect. Results are obtained in the frequency range between 300Hz and 10000Hz. As the ground admittance and source height increase, the minimum of the excess attenuation curve shifts to lower frequencies. On the other hand, horizontal range increase the minimum of the excess attenuation curve shifts to higher frequencies. The theoretical results of excess attenuation have been compared to experimentally measured attenuations by interference and well in agreed with both horizontal ranges and source heights.

A single beam photoacoustic spectrum analysis of the light absorption and radiationless processes from powdered solid samples is described. When the chopped light impinges on some condenced matters such as CuSO₄and ZnO, in a closed cell, the acoustic signals are prodeced within the cell. In order to investigate the physical properties of powdered solids, the acoustic signals were detected using a gas-microphone. The photoacoustic spectrum analysis of the various samples was carried out to obtain the intensity of the P.A. signal in terms of light wavelength. The light absorption spectrum of powdered CuSO₄obtained by using P.A. spetroscopy was similar to those obtained by using of optical spectrometry. the energy bandgap according to energy transitions of ZnO was 3.4 eV.

The finite-approximation errors of measuring acoustic intensity using two closely spaced microphones are examined in this paper. The phase errors are considered by measuring the residual intensity between the two microphone systems exposing them to the same sound over awide range of frequencies. The loudspeaker in the pressure chamber is fed with white or pink noise, and the pressure spectra from the two microphones is identical. The measuring errors are estimated by checking the difference between the measured sound pressure and sound intensity. For the microphone separation of 12mm, the finite-approximation errors are shown to be less than ±1dB from 125 Hz to 5KHz.

A bioequivalence of Etodol™ tablets (Yuhan corporation) and Kuhnillodine™ tablets (Kuhnil Pharm, Co., Ltd.) was evaluated according to the guideline of Korea Food and Drug Administration (KFDA). Single 200 ㎎ dose of etodolac of each medicine was administered orally to 24 healthy male volunteers. This study was performed in a 2×2 cross-over design. Concentrations of etodolac in human plasma were monitored by a high-performance liquid chromatography. AUCt (the area under the plasma concentration-time curve from time zero to 24 hr) was calculated by the linear trapezoidal rule method. C_(max) (maximum plasma drug concentration) and T_(max) (time to reach C_(max)) were compiled from the plasma concentration-time data. Analysis of variance was performed using logarithmically transformed AUCt and C_(max). No significant sequence effect was found for all of the bioavailability parameters. The 90% confidence intervals of the AUCt ratio and the C_(max) ratio for Etodol™/Kuhnillodine™ were 1.01 - 1.10 and 0.87 - 1.06, respectively. This study demonstrated a bioequivalence of Etodol™ and Kuhnillodine™ with respect to the rate and extent of absorption.
