USB 카메라를 이용한 골프 퍼팅 결과 기록 장치의 개발

The putting stroke accounts for 40~50% of total stroke for a golf rounding and most golfers have difficulties on the puting. Studies for the putting stroke have been conducted by analyzing various factors such as kinematics, kinetics, psychologic and physiologic parameters. A lot of devices were developed to support the studies. However there was no appropriate method to measure the position of the ball quantitatively. In this study, we developed a new measurement system to measure and evaluate the putting result. The developed system uses a USB camera to take the 2-dimensional image of the surface including the hole cup at the center of the image and the ball. The position of the ball is extracted as a set of distance and angle in polar coordinate system. We evaluated the new system with an indoor set-up for putting experiments and the system provided accurate measurement results. The proposed system can be combined with the other measurement systems such as 3D motion capture system and force plate without any restriction.

기공(氣功) 운동이 유방암 절제술 여성의 면역, 맥상파 및 심박변이에 미치는 영향

Objectives The purposes of this study was to develope a Qi gong exercise that suits characteristics of post mastectomy women, and to evaluate the effect of Qi gong exercise on immune response, blood circulation index, pulse wave parameter and heart rate variability. Methods This study was applied to total 35 post mastectomy women, including 17 for experiment group and 18 for control group. The Qi gong exercise was composed of total 24 times of 90 minutes per each time, twice a week, and 12 weeks and it was conducted by the oriental medicine professor who was an expert of Qi gong exercise. Results 1. Two group comparison revealed that the experimental group had significantly improved immune response(p<.021), HR(beats/min)(p<.001), ESV(ml/beat)(p=.038), ESI(ml/beat/m<sup>2</sup>)(p=.040), ECO (L/min)(p=.019), ECI(L/min/m<sup>2</sup>)(p=.023), ECRI(dyne*sec/cm)(p=.015), Left Kwan(div<sup>3</sup>)(p=.021), Right Kwan(div<sup>3</sup>)(p=.038), Mean HRV(cycle/min)(p<.001), SDNN(ms)(p=.043), RMSSD(ms)(p=.040), and TP(log ms2)(p=.039). 2. Two group comparison revealed that the experimental group had significantly decreased ECR (dyne*sec*cm<sup>-5</sup>) (p=.034), Left RAI(p=.044), Right RAI(p=.042), and pNN50(%)(p=.038). Conclusions These results from Qi gong exercise program can be used as basic data for development of health promotion program for Post Mastectomy Women.
노인의 근골격계 특성에 적합한 기공운동 개발을 위한 기초연구

Objective : The objective of this study is to develop a Qigong exercise program to reinforce musculoskeletal system of seniors appropriate for physical strength and conditions of seniors aged 65 years or above based on health Qigong exercise of oriental medicine. Method : Qigong exercise motions that can improve strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance of seniors were developed by primarily performing literature review of Qigong experts on the fields like oriental medicine, Qigong exercise, physical education and health science and secondarily using motion training for increased validity of motions. Results : The Qigong exercise program for musculoskeletal system of seniors was designed with 12 motions repeated 8 times and 20 minutes per session, including shoulder exercises (alternate turning of left and right shoulders, turning both arms back and forth, holding and lifting elbow to put it aside), waist exercises (wrapping the head with hands to bow, twisting waist while looking at the tip of hand, large spinning of ball, putting hands together to pull back), and knee exercises (going up a down while lifting a rock, balancing the body while lifting a knee, lifting and spreading knees while drawing circle with arms, raising both arms to the side while lifting heels, breathing). Conclusion : Once the effects of Qigong exercise for musculoskeletal system of seniors developed in this study are tested, the program is expected to contribute to development of Qigong exercise, a core part of oriental medicine health improvement project.

In this study, we investigated the geologic structure of the basement and overlying sediments of the construction site of the dinosaur egg fossil museum in Hwasung, Gyeonggi Province through refraction seismology, drilling, and downward seismic velocity measurements in the drill holes. The construction site (350 x 750 m2) is located in the reclaimed area south of Sihwa Lake, Gojeong-ri. About 6,950 m of seismic refraction data consisting of 11 lines were acquired using a sledge hammer source. Drilling to the basement was performed at five sites. Sediment samples from drilling were analysed for grain-size distribution and age dating. At two drill holes, seismic velocity was measured with depth using a hammer as a seismic source. The geological structure of the study area consists of, from top to bottom, a tidal flat layer (5 - 12 m thick), a weathered soil layer (2 - 8 m thick), and the basement. The basement is interpreted as Cretaceous sedimentary rocks that tend to be shallow eastward. The volume of the tidal flat sediments and wcathcred soil in the study area is estimated as 1.4 x 106 m3, weighing 3.5 x 106 tons. The rate of sea level rise since 8,000 yrs BP is estimated to be 0.1 -0.15 cm/yr.

In this study, a tactile stimulator was developed to resolve some problems from the previous version of the system such as system configuration, inappropriate stimulation control and additional problems. The developed tactile stimulator consists of control unit, drive unit and vibrator unit. The control unit was controlled by E-Prime software to generate appropriate vibration pulses. The drive unit supplies enough energy to the vibrator to generate effective stimulation pulses. The vibrator unit consists of small coin type vibrator and velcro, and was made to be attached at the hand easily. The developed tactile stimulator was designed by small-size, light-weight, low-power, simple-fabrication, max 35 channels and little delay time from instruction signal of E-Prime software to vibrator. The duration and magnitude of stimulation was controlled by 10 grades and the problems concerning stimulation control were compensated by wideband frequency ranges. Additionally, the electrical safety was ensured by low voltage operation. Vibrator was made to be attached on finger as well as on any part of the subject. Since this tactile stimulator is developed based on E-Prime software which is widely used in cognitive science, it is believed that this stimulator be suitable for the wide application of cognitive science study.
