      • GSIS를 이용한 3차원 경관도로 시뮬레이션

        Based on Geo-Spatial Information System(GSIS). we tried to develop three dimensional road simulation system of coastal region considering landscape in Jeju island. The 1:5000 digital map, microstation CAD and Inroad road design programs were used to design coastal road. To estimate landscape effect of the three dimensional road visual simulation. we implemented three types road simulations that are the trees planted, the flowers planted and the trees and flowers planted road, respectively. From the study. we found that the three dimensional virtual technique was very useful tool to design the road considering landscape effect in ocean view terrain and to estimate the reasonable road characteristics.

        GIS를 이용한 3차원도로시뮬레이션에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this research is to apply GIS(Geographic Information System) for the road simulation and find some benefits analysis for the design processes. The northern Jeju island was selected as a case study. The 1/5,000 digital map and GIS technique were used for optimum road design of the island based on Arc View software. Using this software we can get an overlay map by combination of hill shade map, slope map, aspect map, and building buffer map. Based on the overlay map. we designed the optimum road line and performed three dimensional simulation. From the results, we found that the developed three dimensional road simulation technique using GIS technique that was very useful tool to estimate the reasonable road design before the real road construction works.

        『吳淸卿獻策論』을 통해 본 淸政府의 對朝鮮 干涉政策

        I found Ochonggyoung-Honchakron(吳淸卿獻策論, Wuqingqing-Xiancelun) in Changso-gak(藏書閣) of the Academy of Korean Studies, and also carried on the earliest study on it. I got three conclusions through my study: First, Ochonggyoung-Honchakron is a book suggesting policies to King of Chosen(朝鮮), Kojong(高宗) by Wu Ta-ch'eng(吳大?), the representative of Qing Government(淸政府) before his returning in February. 2nd 1885. It was suggested individually on the surface by Wu Ta-ch'eng and Xu Chang(續昌) the vice-representative, in fact, it was acted according to the secret instruction by the Qing Government. Secondly, Wu Ta-ch'eng was the official of the famous Purist Party(淸流黨, Qingliu-dang) in the Late Qing(晩淸), he was responsible for dealing the business for Li Hung-Chang(李鴻章) before Kapsin Coup d'? · tat(甲申政變). After Kapsin Coup d'? · tat, he and Xu Chang were ordered to lead Qing military(淸軍) to Korea by the Qing Government. During his stay in Korea, his main duty is to investigate the true story of Kapsin Coup d'? · tat, to negotiate with Korean government, and also to negotiate with Japanese government for peaceful settlement of the problems raising from Kapsin Coup d'? · tat and strengthening Qing's influence in Korea. Thirdly, Ochonggyoung-Honchakron includes 6 policy suggestions all concerned with the domestic affairs like politics, economics and military. Even though there is never more special new things in it, it shows the intervention policy in Korean domestic affairs by Qing Government. I found six copies of Ochonggyoung-Honchakron in Changso-gak of Academy of Korean Studies and other libraries(奎章閣&國立中央圖書館), but which have not been made public and studied yet. I think it can be considered as an important historical materials for studying the Korean modern history and the modern relationship between Korea and China.

        論海東“王、駱”任叔英的변文創作

        Ren Shuying was called Xu-Yu, Sijie, is a famous parallel prose writer of joseon dynasty, and known as the Integration of the military Pavilion preface in China. Due to his own thoughts and the change of literature, also influenced by the literary atmosphere, so he opposed to parallel prose. But it was difficult to practice on account of in the imperial examinations, diplomacy, entertainment and so on in real life, therefore he produced ambivalence. For officialdom experiences fewer, daily topics presented is more, his prose mainly scenery lyric poetry, content and form is relatively free, it was rare in north Korea times prose creation. His creative characteristics can be summarized as: scenery description show multiple style, great articles grand and beauty, small pieces of fluent and seiko, with poetic characteristics; Daily practical writings are partialed to easy, artistic conception muddy melting.

        The Application of RS and GIS Technologies on Landslide Information Extraction of ALOS Images in Yanbian Area, China

        This paper mainly introduces the methods of extracting landslide information using ALOS(Advanced Land Observing Satellite) images and GIS(Geographical Information System) technology. In this study, we classified images using three different methods which are the unsupervised、the supervised and the PCA(Principal Components Analysis) for extracting landslide information based on characteristics of ALOS image. From the image classification results, we found out that the quality of classified image extracted with PCA supervised method was superior than the other images extracted with the other methods. But the accuracy of landslide information extracted from this image classification was still very low as the pixels were very similar between the landslide and safety regions. It means that it is really difficult to distinguish those areas with an image classification method alone because the values of pixels between the landslide and other areas were similar, particularly in a region where the landslide and other areas coexist. To solve this problem, we used the LSM(Landslide Susceptibility Map) created with ArcView software through weighted overlay GIS method in the areas. Finally, the developed LSM was applied to the image classification process using the ALOS images. The accuracy of the extracted landslide information was improved after adopting the PCA and LSM methods. Finally, we found that the landslide region in the study area can be calculated and the accuracy can also be improved with the LSM and PCA image classification methods using GIS tools.

        The effect of maternal exercise and altitude training on performance in hypoxic environment: a brief review

        Environmental and maternal exercise experienced even during the very earliest stages of life has the potential to cause developmental changes. The growing evidence demonstrated that diverse environmental stressors affect offspring in various aspects in early stage of life and can be transmitted directly or indirectly by both parental lines. The development of normobaric hypoxic environment facilities began in recent years after athletes born and trained at high altitude continued to update their records in sports competition, especially marathons and other endurance sports. Although a large number of studies have proved the effect of hypoxic training in the field of sports science and competition, the effectiveness of this training model on exercise performance/capacity and physiological variables is still controversial. Therefore, this study makes a brief review of the papers related to this scope and attempted to understand the potential mechanism of maternal exercise in hypoxic environment on exercise performance and reduction of metabolic risk factors.

        Pectolinarigenin ameliorated airway inflammation and airway remodeling to exhibit antitussive effect

        Cough is a common symptom of several respiratory diseases. However, frequent coughing from acute to chronic often causes great pain to patients. It may turn into cough variant asthma, which seriously affects people's quality of life. For cough treatment, it is dominated by over-the-counter antitussive drugs, such as asmeton, but most currently available antitussive drugs have serious side effects. Thus, there is a great need for the development of new drugs with potent cough suppressant. BALB/c mice were used to construct mice model with cough to investigate the pharmacological effects of pectolinarigenin (PEC). Hematoxylin-eosin and Masson staining were used to assess lung injury and airway remodeling, and ELISA was used to assess the level of inflammatory factor release. In addition, inflammatory cell counts were measured to assess airway inflammation. Airway hyperresponsiveness assay was used to assess respiratory resistance in mice. Finally, we used Western blotting to explore the potential mechanisms of PEC. We found that PEC could alleviate lung tissue injury and reduce the release of inflammatory factors, inhibit of cough frequency and airway wall collagen deposition in mice model with cough. Meanwhile, PEC inhibited the Ras/ERK/c-Fos pathway to exhibit antitussive effect. Therefore, PEC may be a potential drug for cough suppression.

        GIS-Based Landslide Susceptibility Mapping Using Analytic Hierarchy Process and Artificial Neural Network in Jeju (Korea)

        This paper presents a landslide susceptibility analysis in Jeju Island, South Korea using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) and ANN (Artificial Neural Network) methods. To assess the landslide susceptibility, seven factors which affect the landslide occurrence were selected as: slope, aspect, soil type, geological type, rainfall intensity, forest and land cover. According to the relation between the above factors and landslide distribution, the weight value and rating value of each factor were calculated using AHP and ANN. Finally, we get two susceptibility maps using AcrView software through weighted overlay GIS (Geographic Information System)method. The comparative analysis reveals that the slope, rainfall intensity, soil and forest play important roles in landslide occurrence. From the results, we also found that AHP and ANN methods can be used to analyze landslide susceptibility using the data from the different area and the ANN method was more suitable and effective than AHP method.         Effects of Phosphodiesterase 5 Inhibition with Sildenafil on Atrial Contractile and Secretory Function

        Selective inhibition of phosphodiesterase (PDE) 5 opened a new therapeutic approach for cardiovascular disorders. Therefore, the effect of PDE5 inhibition on the cardiac function should thoroughly be defined. The purpose of the present study was to define the effects of sildenafil, a selective inhibitor of PDE5, on the atrial cGMP efflux, atrial dynamics, and the release of atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP). By perfusing rabbit left atria to allow atrial pacing, changes in atrial stroke volume and pulse pressure, transmural extracellular fluid translocation, cGMP efflux, and ANP secretion were measured. SIN-1, an NO donor and soluble (s) guanylyl cyclase (GC) activator, and C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP), an activator of particulate (p) GC activator, were used. Sildenafil increased basal levels of cGMP efflux slightly but not significantly. Sildenafil in a therapeutic dose increased atrial dynamics (for atrial stroke volume, 2.84⁑1.71%, n=12, vs ⁣0.71⁑0.86%, n=21; p<0.05) and decreased ANP release (⁣9.02⁑3.36%, n=14, vs 1.35⁑3.25%, n=23; p<0.05), however, it had no effect on the SIN-1- or CNP-induced increase of cGMP levels. Furthermore, sildenafil in a therapeutic dose accentuated SIN-1-induced, but not CNP- induced, decrease of atrial pulse pressure and ANP release. These data indicate that PDE5 inhibition with sildenafil has a minor effect on cGMP levels, but has a distinct effect on pGC-cGMP- and sGC- cGMP-induced contractile and secretory function.
