In glycolysis, the reactions catalyzed by hexokinase, Phosphofructokinase, and pyruvate kinase are lally irreversible; hence they would be expected to have regulatory as well as catalytic roles. They ilso adaptive in a number of physiological states, and although the molecular mechanisms controlling adaptations are largely unknown, dietary and hormonal stimuli serve as environmental factors lating enzyme levels in vivo. The present study was undertaken to examine the effects of phlorizin, a blocker of renal tubular ose reabsorption, on the activities of glucokinase, hexokinase, and pyruvate kinase in the liver and nrocytes of streptozotocin (STZ) diabetic rats. The levels of plasma glucose and insulin and the activities of glycolytic enzymes were measured onchird day after phlonzin treatment in normal and STZ diabetic rats and the results were as follows. 1. Plasma glucose levels were reduced by 14.35%(P<0.05) in normal rats and by 39.38% (p<0.01) in STZ diabetic rats. 2. Plasma insulin levels were reduced by 45.6% (P<0.05) in normal rats and by 58.2% (P<0.01) in STZ diabetic rats. 3. On the third day after phlorizin treatment, hepatic glucokinase and pyruvate kinase activities in normal rats were reduced by approximately 56% (P<0.01) and 43% (P<0.01) respectively, and erythrocyte hexokinase and pyruvate kinase activities were reduced by approximately 18% (P<0.05) and 22% (P<0.01) respectively, In STZ diabetic rat shepatic glucokinase and pyruvate kina activities were reduced by approximately 52% (P<0.01) and 22% (P<0.01) respectively, a erythrocyte hexokmase and pyruvate kinase activities were reduced by approximately 4% and 3 respectively. Thus the overall decreases of the levels of plasma glucose and insulin and the activity of glycoly enzymes were observed on the third day after phlorizin treatment in normal and STZ diabetic ra These alterations in the enzyme activity with phlorizin treatment were shown to be a result of reducinsulin levels, and the smaller decrease in enzyme actvity in STZ diabetic rats than in normal rats thought to be probably due to the reduced response to changes in insulin levels at near basal levels enzyme activity.

A chemiluminescent method with gold nanoparticles for determination of vitamin C has been presented. Gold nanoparticles highly increased chemiluminescence intensity of lumimol-H2O2 system by its catalytic effect. The gold nanoparticles enhanced chemiluminescent method is applicable for the determination of an antioxidant such as vitamin C. When vitamin C was introduced to the lumimol system with gold nanoparticles, chemiluminescence intensity was reduced with the concentration of the added vitamin C. Low concentrated vitamin C solutions in the range of 1×10(-3)-1×10(-9) M were produced reduced chemiluminescence intensity of lumimol-H2O2 with gold nanoparticles system.

In recent years, technologies have been developed to capture omnidirectional images by using two or more cameras equipped with wide-angle lenses. In omni-directional images, all directions can be seen, so that monitoring effect can be maximized. Obtaining an omni-directional image through a wide-angle lens causes distortion, which makes it difficult to be applied on intelligent algorithm based on image processing. In order to solve this problem, it is generally necessary to image processing for a long time. In this paper, we propose an accelerated intelligent algorithm for distorted images acquired through a wide-angle lens. Through the proposed algorithm, it is possible to render intelligent image analysis results in real time. We have a plan to study on the method of high resolution technology in the future.

Electrospun poly(ether sulfone) (PES) membrane impregnated with Nafion (PES-N) have been developed for high-temperature polymer-electrolyte membrane fuel cell (HT-PEMFC). The PES-N obtains highly thermal stability up to $430^{\circ}C$, which is higher than that of the commercial Nafion 212. The PES-N membrane shows a good proton conductivity of about $10^{-2}S\;cm^{-1}$ in a temperature range from $75^{\circ}C$ to $120^{\circ}C$. The membrane-electrode assembly (MEA) with the PES-N membrane exhibits a current density of $1.697A\;cm^{-2}$ at $75^{\circ}C$, and $0.813A\;cm^{-2}$ at $110^{\circ}C$ when the applied voltage is 0.6 V, whereas the MEA with the Nafion 212 membrane shows the current density of $0.647Acm^{-2}$ at $110^{\circ}C$. The results suggest that the PES-N can be a good candidate for a polymer electrolyte membrane of the HT-PEMFC.

Background and Objectives: Paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AF) is a major potential cause of embolic stroke of undetermined source (ESUS). However, identifying AF remains challenging because it occurs sporadically. Deep learning could be used to identify hidden AF based on the sinus rhythm (SR) electrocardiogram (ECG). We combined known AF risk factors and developed a deep learning algorithm (DLA) for predicting AF to optimize diagnostic performance in ESUS patients. Methods: A DLA was developed to identify AF using SR 12-lead ECG with the database consisting of AF patients and non-AF patients. The accuracy of the DLA was validated in 221 ESUS patients who underwent insertable cardiac monitor (ICM) insertion to identify AF. Results: A total of 44,085 ECGs from 12,666 patient were used for developing the DLA. The internal validation of the DLA revealed 0.862 (95% confidence interval, 0.850–0.873) area under the curve (AUC) in the receiver operating curve analysis. In external validation data from 221 ESUS patients, the diagnostic accuracy of DLA and AUC were 0.811 and 0.827, respectively, and DLA outperformed conventional predictive models, including CHARGE-AF, C2HEST, and HATCH. The combined model, comprising atrial ectopic burden, left atrial diameter and the DLA, showed excellent performance in AF prediction with AUC of 0.906. Conclusions: The DLA accurately identified paroxysmal AF using 12-lead SR ECG in patients with ESUS and outperformed the conventional models. The DLA model along with the traditional AF risk factors could be a useful tool to identify paroxysmal AF in ESUS patients.
칠면초로부터 고순도 Rutin 및 Narcissin의 동시 분리 및 정제

칠면초(Suaeda japonica)는 적색을 띠고 강한 항산화 페놀성 화합물을 다량 함유하고 있어 기호성 및 건강기능성을 증진된 블렌딩 차 제조를 위한 유용한 후보 식품소재 중 하나이다. Rutin과 narcissin은 칠면초에 함유된 다양한 페놀성 화합물들 중 다량 성분이면서 항산화, 항염증, 항균 및 항암 활성을 발휘하므로, 칠면초 및 그첨가 블렌딩 차의 지표성분으로 활용이 기대된다. 그러나 narcissin은 rutin에 비해 극히 일부식물에 미량으로 존재하고 있어 그 생리활성에 대한 연구가 미흡한 실정이다. 그래서, 본 연구에서는 칠면초 지상부로부터 고순도의 rutin과 narcissin을 동시 분리 방법을 확립하고자 하였다. 먼저, 건조된 칠면초분말의 열수추출물에는 rutin과narcissin이 각각 59.2 ± 1.4 mg/100 g과 171.3 ± 2.1 mg/100 g으로 함유되어 있음을 ODS-HPLC 분석을 통하여 확인하였다. 칠면초분말(50 g)의 열수추출물에 water-saturated n-butanol를 가하여 용매분획한 다음 얻어진 용매분획물(1.05 g)을 ODS-MPLC를 이용하여 rutin (27.6 mg)과 narcissin (79.9 mg)을 분리하였다. 분리된 두 화합물의순도는 99% 이상임을 LC-MS 및 1 H-NMR 분석을 통하여 확인하였으며, 또한 그 회수율은 91% 이상이었다. 이러한 분리 방법으로 칠면초로부터 분리된 narcissin과 rutin은 다양한 생리활성 평가와 더불어 칠면초 및 그 첨가블렌딩차를 비롯한 다양한 가공품의 품질관리를 위한 지표성분으로 활용이 기대된다. Suaeda japonica is a useful candidate food material for the manufacture of blended tea due to its red color and excellent antioxidant activity. Rutin and narcissin are the main antioxidative flavonoids in the aerial parts of S.japonica, and these compounds have been reported to have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and anticancer activities. However, comparatively little is known about the biological activities of narcissin, which is present in small amounts in several plants. In this study, we developed an isolation method to obtain rutin and narcissin simultaneously in high purity from the aerial parts of S. japonica. The rutin and narcissin contents in the hot water extract of the aerial parts of S. japonica were 59.2 ± 1.3 mg/100 g and 171.3 ± 2.1 mg/100 g, respectively, as determined by ODS-HPLC. Briefly, the dried aerial parts (50 g) of S. japonica were extracted with hot water, and the filtrate obtained was extracted with water-saturated n-butanol (BuOH). The BuOH fraction was purified by medium-performance liquid chromatography using an octadecylsilane column. The purities of the rutin (27.6 mg) and narcissin (79.9 mg) isolated both exceeded 99% by LC-MS and 1 H-NMR analysis, and their total recoveries were estimated to be > 91%.

In this paper, we propose an image analysis system based on omnidirectional image and object tracking image display using super wide angle camera. In order to generate spherical images, the projection process of converting from two wide-angle images to the equirectangular panoramic image was performed and the spherical image was expressed by converting rectangular to spherical coordinate system. Object tracking was performed by selecting the desired object initially, and KCF(Kernelized Correlation Filter) algorithm was used so that robust object tracking can be performed even when the objects shape is changed. In the initial dialog, the file and mode are selected, and then the result is displayed in the new dialog. If the object tracking mode is selected, the ROI is set by dragging the desired area in the new window.
