        임신부의 인플루엔자 백신 접종률 및 관련요인

        Background : During seasonal influenza epidemics and previous pandemics, pregnant women have been at increased risk for complications related to influenza infection. Although influenza vaccination has been widely recommended to pregnant women and immunocompromised hosts, the vaccination rate is presumed to be low in pregnant women. This study was aimed to evaluate the vaccination rate and factors associated with Influenza vaccination among pregnant women, who are at high risk for developing complications from the influenza. Materials and Methods : This study was carried out by telephone survey from April, 2007 to August, 2007. Women who were in their second trimester of pregnancy or above,- during October, 2006 and February, 2007, the recommended vaccination period, and had given birth at Inha University Hospital were selected as the study population. Immunization status, general understanding, and factors associated with vaccination were evaluated. Results : Among a total of 506 eligible pregnant women, 227 (44.8%) responded to the questionnaires. The influenza vaccination rate among the pregnant women was only 4% (9/227). Major reasons for not receiving vaccination were first, not awaring the necessity of immunization during pregnancy (48.5%, 110/227) and second, misunderstanding that it is prohibited during pregnancy (36.1%, 82/227). The major factors that influenced the compliance of vaccination were correct understanding and doctor's recommendation on the influenza immunization during pregnancy. Conclusions : The influenza vaccine coverage on pregnant women was very low and the awareness of influenza vaccination during pregnancy in general was inaccurate. Shift in perception is required and this can be achieved by educating the pregnant women on the safety and efficacy of vaccination. In addition, doctors' active encouragement to vaccination is highly recommended.

        A Study on Altitude Estimation using Smartphone Pressure Sensor for Emergency Positioning

        This paper introduces a study to estimate the user altitude in need of rescue in an emergency. The altitude is estimated by using the barometric pressure sensor embedded in the smartphone. Compared to GPS, which is degraded in urban or indoor environments, it has the advantage of not having spatial restrictions. With the endless development of smartphone hardware, it is possible to estimate the absolute altitude using the measured value if only the bias of the embedded barometric pressure sensor is applied. The altitude information of the person in need of rescue in an emergency is a great help in reducing rescue time. Since time is tight, we propose online calibration that provides the barometric pressure sensor bias used for altitude estimation through database. Furthermore, experiments were conducted to understand the characteristics of the barometric pressure sensor, which is greatly affected by wind. At the end, the altitude estimation performance was confirmed through an actual field tests in various floors in the building.

        Circuit Modeling of 3-D Parallel-plate Capacitors Fabricated by LTCC Process

        A novel method of high speed, accurate circuit simulation in 3-dimensional (3-D) parallel-plate capacitors is investigated. The basic concept of the circuit simulation methods is partial element equivalent circuit model. The three test structures of 3-D parallel-plate capacitors are fabricated by using multi-layer low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) process and their S-parameters are measured between 50 MHz and 5 GHz. S-parameters are converted to Y-parameters, for comparing measured data with simulated data. The circuit model parameters of the each building block are optimized and extracted using HSPICE circuit simulator. This method is convenient and accurate so that circuit design applications can be easily manipulated.

        Characteristic Variation of 3-D Solenoid Embedded Inductors for Wireless Communication Systems

        The characteristic variation of 3-dimensional (3-D) solenoid-type embedded inductors is investigated. Four different structures of a 3-D inductor are fabricated by using a low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) process, and their s-parameters are measured between 50 MHz and 5 GHz. The circuit model parameters of each building block are optimized and extracted using the partial element equivalent circuit method and an HSPICE circuit simulator. Based on the model parameters, the characteristics of the test structures such as self-resonant frequency, inductance, and quality (Q) factor are analyzed, and predictive modeling is applied to the structures composed of a combination of the modeled building blocks. In addition, characteristic variations of the 3-D inductors with different structures using extracted building blocks are also investigated. This approach can provide a characteristic estimation of 3-D solenoid embedded inductors for structural variations.

        연구자 홈페이지 내 콘텐츠 유형에 따른 세부적인 정보 블록 분류 및 식별 방법

        웹 마이닝과 정보 추출의 성능을 높이기 위해 유용한 정보와 불필요한 데이터가 함께 혼재된 형태의 웹 페이지를 블록으로 분할 후 해당 블록을 주 콘텐츠(primary contents)를 포함하였는지 아닌지 여부에 따라 정보 유형 혹은 비정보 유형으로 분류하고자 하는 연구가 활발히 진행되었다. 본 논문에서는 비정형화된 구조를 가지고 다양한 정보를 포함하는 연구자 홈페이지를 대상으로 콘텐츠 특징을 활용하여 정보 블록을 식별하고 해당 정보 블록을 콘텐츠 유형에 따라 세부적으로 분류하기 위한 DIRTA(Discovering Informative blocks and Recognizing content Types of blocks for Academic homepages)를 제안한다. 또한 실제 웹상의 연구자 홈페이지를 기반한 일련의 실험을 통해 제안한 DIRTA의 효율성을 평가하였다. 블록 분류의 경우 정확률 88%, 재현률 89%, F1-measure 88%로 만족할만한 성능을 보이고 특히 비정보 블록의 분류 성능은 정확률 88%, 재현률 98%, F1-measure 93%로 비정보 블록을 올바르게 필터링하는 것을 확인할 수 있다. To improve the performance of Web mining and information extraction, previous studies, which segment Web pages consisting of a mixture of useful information and noise data into blocks and then classify those blocks to an informative type or a non-informative type depending on whether a block includes primary contents or not, are actively progressed. In this paper, we propose DIRTA (Discovering Informative blocks and Recognizing content Types of blocks for Academic homepages) in order to discover informative blocks and to classify them into the content types of blocks in detail. Experiments were carried out with the academic homepages that actually exist on the Web and the results are satisfactory in the sense that the precision, recall and F1-measure of block classification of DIRTA are 88%, 89% and 88%, respectively, and in particular, the performance of classifying non-informative blocks shows the precision 88%, recall 98% and F1-measure 93%, which means DIRTA correctly filters non-informative blocks.

        인터넷의 발달과 기술의 발전으로 하루에도 많은 양의 정보가 생성된다. 정보의 양과 기술 발전 속도의 급격한 증가에 의해, 연구자들은 자신의 연구분야의 최근 동향 및 신기술에 대한 적합한 정보를 얻기가 어려워지고 있다. 연구자들은 수시로 자신의 연구분야의 최근 동향 및 신기술에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 최근에는 특정분야의 기술이 다른 분야에서도 적용되는 협업분야가 증가함으로써 협업분야의 탐지도 중요시되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 사회망을 이용하여 저자들간의 관계성을 알아내고, 궁극적으로 관계성을 이용하여 협업분야를 탐지하는 시스템을 제안한다.

        도메인 독립 및 종속지식을 이용한 효율적 정보검색

        본 연구는 도메인 전문가(domain expert)의 도움없이 초보자가 효과적으로 관련된 문서를 검색할 수 있는 지식기반 정보검색 시스템을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해서 먼저 간단하고 구조적인 방법으로 대부분의 휴리스틱을 나타낼 수 있는 혼성지식 베이스를 제시한다. 이것은 지식을 도메인 독립과 도메인 종속으로 분류하고 이들을 도메인 독립 지식베이스(Ibase)와 도메인 종속 지식베이스(Dbase)에 각각 저장함으로써 이루어진다. Ibase는 색인 용어들 사이에 is-a관계를 나타내는데 그래프에 기초를 둔 시소러스(thesaurus)로써 사용된다. Dbase는 동의어 관계, is-a 관계와는 다른 용어사이의 관계, 복합구(phrase)들의 생성규칙, Ibase를 탐색 하는 휴리스틱들 같은 도메인 특수정보를 나타낸다. 본 연구에서는 위의 구조를 바탕으로 HYKIS(HYbrid Knowledge-based Information retrieval System)라는 시스템을 제안한다. HYKIS에서 검색 절차는 Ibase와 Dbase 의 도웅을 받아 부울(Bool)형태로 주어진 질의에 관련된 문서를 검색하는 것으로 이루어 진다. 본 연구에서는 CACM 데이타 집합을 가지고 HYKIS의 성능을 평가하였는데, 실험결과 HYKIS는 CRCS 시소러스만을 이용한 검색방법보다 훨씬 높은 회상도(recall)와 정확도(precision)를 나타내었다. This paper aims at developing a knowledge-based information retrieval system that allows a naive user to retrieve relevant documents effectively, without any help of a domain expert To do this, it developes a hybrid knowledge base that lets most of heuristics be represented in a simple and structured manner. As knowledge is usually categorized by domain independent and domain dependent one, it seperates the store of the knowledge into two bases: domain independent knowledge base (Ibase) and domain dependent knowledge base (Dbase). Ibase is used as the graph-based thesaurus that permits "is-a" relation between index terms Dbase describes domain-specific information, such as synonym relationship, some term relationships other than "is-a" relation, generation rules for complex compound phrases, and some heuristics for navigating Ibase. According to this, a system named HYKIS(HYbrid Knowledge-based Information retrieval System) is developed In HYKIS, the query evaluation procedure, QEP retrieves the documents relevant to a query given as Boolean form, interacting with Ibase and Dbase. According to an experiment with the CACM data set, it turns out that HYKIS achieves much higher recall and precision, compared to a simple thesaurus based retrieval.
