        This study investigates fitness of horizontal alinement design elements that has been used in Korea. Those elements are analyzed in consideration of road environment, drivers' characteristics, and traffic condition. In addition, reformed superelevation formula is produced to be fit to the conditions in Korea by considering horizontal alinement design elements on the base of 'AASHTO'. The results are summarized as follow 1. According to drivers' cognition analyzed by Factor analysis, drivers regard that road safety and horizontal alinement elements are the most important facts. 2. Superelevation value which is produced from radius of road curve in research area is shorter than standard superelevation value. Therefore, we should revise and supplement the standard superelevation in aspect of drivers' safety. 3. Superelevation value analyzed by 85 percentile running speed shows higher value than critical superelevation value used in Korea. So, we should upgrade the critical superelevation value.

      • 배추 시스테인 단백질 분해 효소 억제 유전자 BCPI-1의 발현과 종자 발아 및 유묘 생장과의 연관성

        Phytocystatins are protein inhibitors of cysteine proteinases of the papain family that have been identified in both monocot and dicot plants. A cDNA encoding a phytocystatin, BCPI-1 (Brassica Cysteine Proteinase Inhibitor-1) has been isolated from Chinese cabbage (Brassica campestris L. ssp. pekinensis) flower buds. Here, we tested whether BCPI-1 transcription is regulated by hormones, and could be involved in regulating cysteine proteinases during and after germination. BCPI-1 was sensitive to exogenous GA_(3) and ABA, which are important factors controlling seed germination, suggesting that the expression of BCPI-1 is hormonally regulated. We introduced a recombinant plasmid containing the full-length BCPI-1 cDNA under the control of cauliflower mosaic virus 35S promoter into rice embryogenic calli using the particle delivery method, and regenerated a number of transgenic rice plants. Constitutively over-expressed BCPI-1 caused changes in overall plant growth and development, including reduced germination and seedling growth. These data support the role of the BCPI-1 in the regulation of endogenous proteinases during both seed germination and subsequent seedling development. Phylocystatins은 papain계열의 cysteine 단백질 분해 효소 활성을 특이적으로 억제하는 억제자로 다양한 식물 종으로부터 분리되었다. 본고에서는, 배추 화아 cDNA library로부터 분리된 phytocystatin인 BCPI-1(Brassica Cysteine Proteinase Inhibitor-1)의 생체 내 기능에 대해 연구하였다. 먼저, BCPI-1 전사체는 발아 조절에 중요한 영향을 미치는 GA₃와 ABA에 의해 예민하게 증가, 혹은 감소되는 반응을 보임으로써, BCPI-1이 식물 호르몬의 영향을 받으며, 특히 발아나 유묘의 생장 조절에 관련이 있음을 알 수 있었다. Particle bombardment 방법을 통하여 BCPI-1을 벼의 배 형성 세포 내에 도입, 재분화 시켜 형질 전환 벼를 생성하였다. CaMV 35S promoter의 조절에 의해 지속적인 BCPI-1 발현을 보이는 형질 전환 벼의 경우, 발아와 유묘 생장이 현저히 지연되었다. 위의 결과들을 바탕으로, BCPI-1이 식물체 내에서 생성되는 cysteine 계열의 단밸질 분해 효소 활성을 조절하여 종자의 발아와 유묘의 생장에 영향을 미치는 것으로 추측한다.

        NK's nuclear issue has double-faceted nature, e.g., an international or a regional issue related to nuclear proliferation and a domestic issue to pose security threat to the Korean peninsula. Recently, disablement process as regards the NK's nuclear facilities has resumed soon after the US State Department announced to remove NK from the list of state sponsors of terrorism. But considering a variety of future issues challenging SK & the US, it is merely a signal that the controversial long journey would begin before long. After terminating disablement, NK will try not to implement or to defer its further obligation if possible on the basis of typical salami tactics making use of forced insistence, unreasonable interpretation, blackmail, etc. It is since NK's nuclear program and its possession of nuclear weapons are useful vehicle of the last resort for its regime survival and sustainability. Reviewing the process of the six party talks, it could be said that there was not much solid ties and concerted cooperation among five parties except NK thanks to national security interests of individual country. In this context; SK should bear in mind following response measures in order to achieve NK's denuclearization successfully through the six party talks on the basis of the CVID(comprehensive, verifiable, irreversible dismantlement) principle. First, SK should continue to maintain six party talks having been lasted so far since 2003, and develop it to more substantive negotiations. Second, SK needs to highlight the role of China and Russia to create nuclear weapons-free NK. particularly through China's intensive pressure to NK. Third, SK ought to continue to attach importance to the CVID principle vis-a-vis NK's nuclear program and nuclear weapons involving the UEP(uranium enrichment program). Fifth, SK should strengthen ROK-US allied relations to stabilize possible military tension between the two Koreas, simultaneously cooperating with the next US government to place NK's nuke issue in the priority. Lastly, SK needs to prudently take into account the alternative plan to provide thermal power plants or whatsoever to NK in lieu of the LWR(Light Water Reactor) to block even the least feasibility able to produce plutonium. In conclusion, It would be essential for the five parties except NK to move forward to the same direction so as to establish denuclearized NK, taking advantage of aforementioned various strategic measures, and further to make NK be a responsible state of the international community, at the earliest date, complying with international nonproliferation norms, NPT and IAEA safeguards.

      • Depth Jump-Shocking「SQT」프로그램이 러닝블로킹에 미치는 效果

        The main purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of depth jump shocking "super quality training ; SQT" programme for improving leg power performance of volleyball players. 9 male players were selected out of the volleyball players in KPU. The experiment was focused on jumping height, speed and repetitive jumping speed in the take-off in box drill dropping performance, various articles have reported that, during the take-off jump, exterior muscles at the beginning fulfill both work(the phase of amortization) and later overcoming work(phase of active take-off). Therefore, in the experiment the subjects were required to keep their both legs upward after the plumb-line jump from the box 50∼70㎝ height. The landing area was conditioned with jumping board(amortization phase) During the 8 weeks of experiment, the trading was regularly enforced once per day, 4 or 5 times frequence a week, the data statistically obtained were analyzed, the results of which are as follows : ① Blocking jumping height The performance of exp. subjects was greatly improved after experiment. The increase of blocking jumping height in the exp. subjects was 3.9㎝∼6.4㎝(6.5%∼12.8%). The values of all items were statistically significant at 0.001 level. ② Blocking jumping speed The performance of exp. subjects was greatly improved after experiment. The increase of blocking jumping speed in the exp. subjects was 20㎳∼170㎳(4.0%∼10.9%) The values of all items were statistically significant at 0.001 level. ③ Blocking repetitive jumping speed The performance of exp. subjects was greatly improved after experiment. The increase of blocking jumping speed in the exp. subjects was 360㎳∼1040㎳(6.1%∼10.8%). The values of items were statistically at 0.01 level.

        This experiment was conducted to fine out the rapid composting method and the effects microorganism agent. The results were summarilized as follows; 1. Each temperatures of every composts highest rised at the 5 days during the experiment composting. 2. Composting temperature of the more 60℃ was killed the harmful lavar and pathogenic microorganisms. 3. The lowest C/N ratio was No.2, among the each treatments. 4. C/N ratio of the each treatments were same results of the general compost C/N ratio. 5. The synthesized of these results were recognized the effects of microorganism agent and the each treatments were showed the more rapid composting then general compost.

      • PEMFC의 효율적 시뮬레이션을 위한 Matlab/Simulink와 PSIM기반의 Co-Simulation

        Fuel Cell system is expected to use widely in the near future. Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell(PEMFC) system is broadly investigated due to low operating temperature and fast start up characteristics. To shorten the time and effort putting into development, the simulation procedure is needed, For Simulating Fuel Cell system, specified tools are necessary because Fuel Cell system consists of control system, power generation system and power conversion system. Matlab/Simulink is useful to simulate Fuel Cell's control algorithm and V-I characteristics. PSIM is useful to simulate Fuel Cell system's power conversions. This paper, focuses on Co-Simulation of PEMFC system using Matlab/Sumulink and PSIM. Co-Simulation is an effective method to simulate PEMFC's complicated characteristics.

      • 彈性抵抗 Tubex 運動이 腕回轉 파워에 미치는 效果

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of elastic recoil tubex exercise for development of shoulder rotation power, 9 male players were selected out of the volleyball players in kpu. The experiment was focused on full swing, half swing, chest full and pull down with tube(1 Tubex tension-1½ Tubex tension). The exercise duration was 8 weeks, and it's frequency was 4-5 times or 5-6 times a week, and they got tests twice : one at the begining of the experiment, and the other 8 weeks later. The test was measured at 60°/sec, 180°/sec and 240°/sec using cybex 340 system, the result of which are as follows : ① Peak torque The wrist showed significant (P<.01, P<.05) increases in the extension at 60°/sec, 180°/sec and 240°/sec, and only the flexion at 240°/sec (P<.05). In the elbow, only extension, was significant (P<.05) increase at 240°/sec. Also in the shoulder, only extension was significant (P<.01, P<.05) increase at 60°/sec, 180°/sec and 240°/sec. But in te shoulder, the adducation and abduction appears nonsignificant. ② Muscle endurance ratio The result of the test upon both the flexion and the extension in the wrist were statistically significant (P<.01) at 240°/sec. ③ Flexion / extension ratio The ratio of Flexion and extension apperar nonsignificant decrease after experiment. but there was only significant (P<.05) decrease in wrist at 180°/sec.

      • 臨界負荷 인터벌-웨이트 쟈케트 트레이닝이 心肺機能에 미치는 效果

        The purpose of this study is to research and analize a limited factor of endurance-running(that is mechanism of cardio-vascular function) in order to grasp a new training method of interval weight jacket training and aerobic power ability after exercise. 12 subjects were selected out of the volleyball players in KPU. characteristics of subjects were 8.42±1.08 years in exercise, 47.75±2.70㎖/㎏ min in VO_2 max. The experiment was verified longitudinally pre-test and post-test, treadmill exercise test was carried under maximal load in pre and post-test. Test instruments were cardio pulmonary exercise system. Q-plex I and gas analizer and EKG, and test items was focused on a limited factor of endurance-running, that is, VO_2 max, HR max, VE BTPs max, METs, TWt and so on. Later 8 weeks training, the result of which are as follow. VO_2 max showed significant(P<.01) increase from 61.8±6.96㎖/㎏ min to 66.13±7.96㎖/㎏ min, it's difference was 4.27㎖/㎏(6.9%). HR max showed nonsignificant(P>.05) increase from 187.5±8.98bts/min to 190.42±8.70bts/min, it's difference was 2.92bts/min(1.6%). VE BTPS max showed significant(P</05) increase from 159.01±28.75ℓ/min to 169.41±22.24ℓ/min, it's difference was 10.4ℓ/min(6.5%). METs and Twt max showed very significant(P<.05, P<.01 respectively) increase from 17.96min to 18.89min and from 14.7min to 16.3min. it's difference were 0.9, 1.6min respectively. Result of exercise test showed decrease value in 3 minute interval of the same load intensity during dynamic rest of maximal exercise load. It is considered that long-term acclimatization of I-WJT bring about increased energy utilization efficiency after experiment.
