Graphene based durable oxygen reduction catalyst for proton exchange membrane fuel cell

Proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) have attracted considerable attention for power sources of zero emission vehicles as they are compact, lightweight, clean, and have a high power density. The oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) at the cathode of a PEMFC plays a key factor in determining the performance of a fuel cell because the reaction is lower than anode, and durable ORR catalysts able to endure over 5,000 hours of operation are essential for the commercial adoption of fuel cells. The ORR catalyst is generally prepared by loading Pt on a carbon black (CB) support. However, Pt/CB catalysts suffer from low long-term durability and large overpotential loss. This study developed electrochemically durable oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) catalysts for proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs), resulting in a consistent cell potential, electrochemical surface area, and electrical resistance.

The cavitation erosion behavior of wear resistant hardfacing alloys, Fe-base NOREM 02, Ni-base Deloro 50 and Co-base Stellite 6, were investigated up to 30hrs using a 20kHz vibratory apparatus. It was shown that the mean erosion depths of Stellite 6. NOREM 02 and Deloro 50 after 30hrs test were 15㎛, 37㎛ and 75㎛, respectively and the nominal incubation time of both NOREM 02 and Deloro 50 were about 1hr while it was about 8hrs for Stellite 6. It is considered that the lower cavitation erosion resistance of NOREM 02 than Stellite 6 is mainly due to the undevelopment of the strain-induced phase transformation. It was also considered that the lowest cavitation erosion resistance of Deloro 50 among the three hardfacing alloys is due to the easy formation of cracks at the interface between matrix and hard second phase as well as the high stacking fault energy of Ni-base matrix.
艾灸가 白鼠의 Cephaloridine 細尿管 障害에 미치는 影響

To find the clinical effectiveness of moxibustion treatment of cephaloridine induced tubular damage of kidney in albino rats by stimulation of Bi-soo(B 20), Jung-wan(CV 12) and Bi-soo+Jung-wan loci, respectively were studied. And the urine volume, protein contents, alkaline phosphatase (AIP) acivities and electrolyte excretIon in urine, and total protein, albumin, urea nitrogen (SUN), and creatinine(SCr) levels, AlP activities and electrolyte exertion in serum were determined under several experimental conditions. The results were obtained as follows: 1. The urine volume volume of 20 hours collected right after the moxibustion stimulation presented effective increase in the loci of Bi-sco and Jung-wan, while that of 20 hours urine gathered after 24 hours after the moxibustion treatment showed remarkable elevation at the Bi-soo and Bi-soo+ Jungwan loci. 2. The protein levels and AIP acivities in urine collected right after and 24 hours after the treatment tended to decrease compared with control group, but in case of AlP activities found significantly increase at the Bi-soo+Jung-wan loci, with better resluts when two loci were applied at the same insteaed of individual. 3. The contents of Na^(+) in the electrolyte in the 20 hours urine collected 24 hours after the stimulation showed effective increase at the loci of Bi-soo and Bi-sco+ Jung-wan, and in case of K^(+) , it was decreased. The contents of Cl of 20 hours urine gathered right after the moxibustion treatment showed significantly increase only at the loci of Bi-soo. 4. The levels of albumin in serum secured after the collection of 20 hours urine right after moxibustion treatment showed effective decrease at the Bi-oo locus, but there was no significantly change in other group. 5. The levels of SUN and SCr obtained immediately collection for 20 hours urine was remarkedly decreased at the Bi-soo locus and in the case of the levels of SUN and SCr obtained after 24 hours Bi-soo , and Bi-soo+ Jung-wan loci were effectively eliminated. 6. Alp activities in serum obtained right after the collection of the 20 hours urme was elevated at the Bi-soo locus, while in the case of AlP activities in serum obtained after 24 hours after moxibustion treatment, there was significant increase only at the locl of Bi-soo+ Jung-wan. 7. But the moxibustion stimulation of Bi-soo, Jung-wan, and Bi-soo+Jung-wan loci seemed to have no effect on the contents of Na^(+), K^(+) and CI^(-) of electrolyte in serum.

In Chim Ku Dae Seung, original textbook of acupuncture involves substantial value for theory and clinical treatment investigated and arranged acupuncture points which can treat pain, could get results that can be summarized as following. 1. It could be estimated classification and clinical value of many acupuncture points for applicable frequency of experiential acupuncture therapy. 2. It could be found that Bladder-route of thick-shine in feet (Bladder meridian) is put to practical use more remarkable than applicable point of another circulating route(meridian). 3. It was remarkable that Largeintesten 2-4(Hab-Gok) point of largeintesten route of cohesive-shine in hands (Largeintesten meridian) and Stomach-route 3-36 (Jok-Sam-Ri) point of stomach-route of cohesive-shine In feet (Stomach meridian) was applicated treatment for pain frequently. 4. In shadical circulating route, it was investigated as Tae-Yeon 1-9 point of Lung-route of thick-shade in hands (Lung meridian) is 19 times, Tong-Ri 5-5 point of Heart-route of thin-shade in hands (Heart meridian) is 9 times, Tae-Neung 9-7 point of pericardium-route of dispersive-shade in hands (pericardium meridian) is 25 times, Sam-Eum-Gyeo 4-6 point of Spleen-route of thick-shade in feet (Spleen meridian) is 27 times Tae-Gye 8-3 point of Kidney-route of thin-shade in feet (Kidney meridian) is 25 times, Hang-Gan 12-2 point and Tae-Chung 12-3 point of Liver-route of dispersive-shade in feet is 17 times in each, Gi-Hae 13-6 point of Balanceable-route by shadical-function (Balanceable meridian) is 17 times. 5. In shinical circulating route, it was investigated applicable point that Largeintesten 2-4 (Hab-Gok) of Iargeintesten-route of cohesive-shine in hands (Largeintesten meridian) is 51 times, So-Hae 6-8 point of Smallintesten-route of thick-shin e in hands (Smallintesten meridian) is 11 times, Jeong-Tyeo 10-3 point and Ji-Ku 10-6 point of Triple warmer-route of thin-shine in hands (Triple warmer meridian) is 14 times in each, Stomach-route 3-36 (Jok-Sam-Ri) point of stomach-route of cohesive-shine in feet (Stomach meridian) is 43 times, Wi-Jung 7-54 point of Bladder-route of thick-shine in feet (Bladder meridian) is 51 times, Yang Neung Chun 11-34 point of Gallbladder-route of thin-shine in feet (Gallbladder meridian) in 20 time, Bak-Hyea 14-20 point of Controllable-route by shinical-function (Controllable meridian) is 12 times.
