        밤 껍질 추출물로 가공한 면직물의 항균성과 항산화성

        Various biowastes from the forest and agricultural industries have been of interest due to their high levels of residual health beneficial components. Chestnut shell is generated as waste during the peeling process in the food industry, and it is rich in many functional compounds, including hydrolyzable tannins. Therefore, the extract of chestnut shell was obtained in hot temperature water, and it was applied to cotton fabrics through a pad-dry-cure technique to explore the possibility of chestnut shell being a useful material in textile finishing. The extract of chestnut shell and the cotton fabrics finished with the extract were investigated thoroughly. As a result, it was found that the chestnut shell extract contained high levels of total polyphenols (21.744 mg/g) and flavonoids (10.295 mg/g). Also, the extract showed antioxidant and antibacterial capacities. In addition, the cotton fabrics finished in the chestnut shell extract also revealed reasonable antibacterial and antioxidant abilities. However, the antibacterial ability of the cotton fabric finished with the chestnut shell extract was significantly decreased towards gram-negative bacteria after 5 laundering cycles.

        골관절염 환자의 수중리듬운동 참가정도에 따른 관절통증정도와 일상생활능력의 차이

        The purpose of this study was to examine the difference of level of joins pain and activities of daily living ability according to the degree of aqua rhythm exercise participations in osteoarthritis patient. It has been aimed at 81 members who have participated in the aqua rhythm exercise participations, living in kangwon-do province and the results are as follows. The level of pains aquarobic participants scored its higher than swimming participants. Aquarobic exercise as rehabilitation program was getting better than swimming exercise. Participation in activities of daily living, based on the degree of participation in the aquarobic exercise, sleep, sex life, social life, travel rather than swimming exercise, a group of effective. Participation in less than 1 hour per day, a group of robbers self-management skills, standing, sex life, travel on more effective. If you look at the underwater movement as a result of over participated in everyday life, reducing the pain and discomfort that occurs from time to time everyday to improve the ability of active methods are meant to be.

        스노보드 엉덩이 보호대 디자인을 위해 기술의 집을 이용한 소비자 요구도 및 제품설계요소 연구

        The purpose of this study was to suggest a design of comfort snowboard protector that reflects consumer needs by using the methods of the Quality Function Deployment (QFD). First, the consumer demands (What) regarding the development of the protectors were selected through in-depth interviews. The importance rating of each selected demand (What) was assessed through a survey, and the product design elements were chosen through preceding studies and experts’ conferences. Finally, the absolute importance values were calculated using the importance rating and relationship matrix, and then used in the designing of the snowboard protector. Study results showed that fit, comfort, shock absorption, size, activity comfort, material, weight, cost, etc. were the demands in developing the snowboard protectors. The shock absorption and comfort were considered most important by 48.0% and 37% of the respondents, respectively. The shock absorption, moisture absorption, drying speed, moisture permeability, suitable size, activity comfort, etc. were selected as the product design elements. And then the result of developing the House of Quality showed that the application of a new thin material with superior shock absorption was required. Also, it was known that the development of a comfortable protector that does not hinder motion and easily emits perspiration was required. For this purpose, the design of a protector that applies 3D technology, adheres comfortably to the body during motion, and emits perspiration well is presented.

        레이온계 여름용 직물에서 매염제 종류에 따른 오배자 염색의 색채발현 및 기능성에 관한 연구

        Gallnuts are known to exert various pharmaceutical properties that include anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antioxidant, and detoxifying effects. Gallnut extract is thought to be a particularly safe antimicrobial agent for textile application due to its natural origins. Hence, textiles were dyed with gallnut to develop multi-functional clothing material with no harmful effects. In this study, three kinds of cool touch woven fabrics, each comprised of 100% viscose rayon filament, viscose rayon filament/high absorption & quick dry (polyester) filament, and viscose rayon filament/tencel <sup>®</sup> spun yarn, were prepared and used as substrates for gallnut dyeing to especially develop functional cool touch textiles for summer clothing material. On the other hand, gallnut dyeing was conducted with mordanting with iron, lime or alum, which induced different colors on the dyed textiles. Dyed textiles were then investigated by SEM, FTIR, antibacterial test, and antioxidant test. Subsequently, gallnut dyed textiles indicated excellent antibacterial ability and deodorization activity regardless of mordant species. However, only gallnut dyed textiles mordanted with iron and alum showed significant antioxidant ability. In addition, the dyeing processes impair the cool touch feeling of the textiles by changing the micro structure of the textile surface.

        연구논문 : 여름철 냉감성 의류소재 개발을 위한 비스코스 레이온 중심의 직물 제조 및 PCM 가공

        To develop cool touch feeling fabrics for summer clothing material, it was manufactured several compositions of woven fabrics, having rayon multi-filament yarn (non-twisted) as warp and various kinds of yarn, such as viscose rayonmulti-filament yarn (twisted), tencel® spun yarn, PET high absorbance quick dry filament yarn, and PET based rayon-likeyarn, as weft. After preparing the fabrics, basic properties of the fabrics were investigated, such as air-permeability, tensile strength, absorption rate, drying rate, etc. Also, surface warm / cool sensations of the woven fabrics were assessed by Qmax Warm / Cool Touch Tester. It was observed that the fabrics composed of viscose rayon multi-filament yarn (warp)and PET high absorbance quick dry filament yarn (weft) showed excellent surface cool touch sensation-the highest Qmaxvalue. This is because the fabric having flat shaped PET high absorbance quick dry filament shows the largest contact areawith Qmax measuring plate. And, the fabric also showed superior high absorbance and quick dry property as expected. In addition, we treated phase change material (PCM) on the surface of the fabric composed of viscose rayon multi-filamentyarn (warp) and PET high absorbance quick dry filament yarn(weft) to improve the cool touch feeling. However, the surface cool touch feeling was impaired by resin treated with PCM during the finishing process.

        소비자 사용 중 발생하는 극세사 제품의 섬유빠짐 현상 조사

        Ultra-fine fiber fabrics are relatively inexpensive, easy to care, soft to touch, and most of all, highly thermokeeping, making them widely used as winter bedding and clothing materials. However, consumers are concerned about their effects on respiratory organs in that fine fibers might be released from ultra-fine fiber products. Therefore, we selected four representative types of so-called ultra-fine fiber fabrics on the market and investigated their characteristics regarding fiber loss that might occur under a consumer’s use environment. Three types of samples were pile fabrics mostly used for winter items to keep warm. One type of sample was no-pile fabric mostly used for cleaning items such as towel, wiper, and so on. It was observed that diameters of fibers present in ultra-fine fiber fabrics were more than 10㎛ (1.0dtex). Overall, pile fabrics showed more fiber loss than no-pile fabrics. Among pile fabrics, thicker and straighter fibers had greater fiber loss from the fabrics in an environment with friction, pulling, and laundering. Meanwhile, thinner and wavier fibers produced more fibrous dusts during tumble drying.

        연구논문 : 정전용량방식 터치스크린에 작동하는 전도성 가죽장갑 소재의 제조

        Smartphone is integrated into the daily lives of all types of people not even young generation. A touch screen display is a primary input device of a smart phone, a tablet computer, etc. While there are many tough technologies in existence, resistive and capacitive are dominant and currently lead the touch screen panel industry. And a capacitive touch screen panel widely used in smart phones is coated with a material that stores electrical charges. In this study, we tried to manufacture gloves produced with electro-conducting leather as a tool to operate a touch panel screen. Therefore, electrically conductive materials, Polyaniline(PANI), Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT), and Carbon nanotubes (CNT) were applied to the surface of leather to be used as a touching operator for capacitive touch screen panel. The leather samples were treated by simple painting method; firstly, they were painted with aqueous solution containing each of the electrically conductive materials and then dried. This cycle was repeated three times. Consequently, the treated leather samples showed electrical conductivity and reasonable working performance to the capacitive touch screen. And, PANI showed the best performance and highest electrical conductivity, and then PEDOT and, CNT in decreasing order. This is because the solubilities of PANI and PEDOT show higher than dispersibility of CNT. Thus, the concentration of conducting polymers was greater than that of CNT in the treating solutions.

        나노 $TiO_2$로 가공한 폴리에스터와 나일론 직물의 광분해성에 관한 연구

        In this study, we prepared $TiO_2$ nanoparticles $(<\~10nm)$ whose crystalline structure were predominantly anatase. However, during the pad-dry-cure process, many of the $TiO_2$ particles aggregated on the surface of nylon and PET fabrics. The antimicrobial activities and photocatalytic degradation properties of the Ti02 treated nylon and PET fabrics were analyzed and the results suggest that the $TiO_2$ promotes the degradation of the nylon and PET polymers.

        조선건축회 발행 『건축자료형록(建築資料型錄)』에 관한 연구: 건축재료 유통범위를 중심으로

        In the 1930s, The Architectural Association of Joseon run the 'Architectural Material Display' on the 2nd floor of the Japan Life Insurance Building in Hwanggumjeong(currently Euljiro street). The purpose of this place was to introduce new architectural materials to builders. And they issued a "建築資料型錄(Architectural Material Catalog)" and distributed it free of charge so that people in districts at long distances can make use of it. This catalog contains descriptions, photographs and drawings of various architectural materials that were common at the time, and the overseas branch address of the store is stated. The purpose of this research is to investigate the type and characteristics of architectural materials distributed in Northeast Asia around the 1930s, the region of sale, affiliated companies by closely analyzing the "建築資料型錄".

        아기 띠 종류에 따른 압력분포와 근활성도, 주관적 착용감 평가

        Continuous lifting and carrying of babies constitutes a serious physical burden, leading to issues such as muscle fatigue and pain in child-care workers. However, there is a lack of research on the pressure and subjective comfort of baby carriers that are commercially available in the market. Therefore, this study was intended to determine the most comfortable and least burdensome type of baby carrier. This was done by analyzing muscle activity and pressure when subjects carried babies using three types of baby carriers. The types of baby carriers evaluated included a 'baby carrier of thin shoulder straps without back support band (X-type)', a 'baby carrier with a back-support band and without a hip sheet (H-type)', and a 'baby carrier with back support band and hip support (H-hip type). The subjective comfort of subjects wearing each type of baby carrier was investigated and compared to the objectively measured data. As a result, the X-type baby carrier showed the heaviest pressure on the shoulders and the subjective comfort was found to not be good. On the waist region, the H-type and H-hip type baby carriers showed significantly less muscle activation than the X-type baby carrier. However, subjects showed a stronger preference for the X-type baby carrier on the waist region, despite greater muscle activation. This appears to be because although the back-support band disperses the weight and thus improves physiological comfort; the wearers feel cramped and thus, lower their psychological comfort.
