Effects of biochar mixtures with pine-bark based substrates on growth and development of horticultural crops

This study investigates the potential of using biochar as a substrate component to replace pine bark (PB) to produce horticultural crops in containers. Biochar was incorporated in PB at 0, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100% (by volume) to grow chrysanthemum, tomato, lettuce and basil plants in containers. The responses of plant growth to the percentage of biochar combined in PB mixtures varied among the different crops. Chrysanthemum plants grown in PB mixtures with 80% and 100% biochar had significant higher shoot fresh weight (FW) and dry weight (DW) than plants grown in PB alone, while the same treatments resulted in reduced shoot FW, DW, growth index measured at 19 and 33 days after transplanting and root rating of tomato plants. Growing lettuce plants in 100% biochar reduced the FW of the second crop compared to plants grown in PB substrates supplemented with 0, 20, 40, 60, and 80% biochar. For basil, although biochar alone caused lower root rating, it did not adversely influence the fresh basil yield. Generally, no negative effect on plant growth was observed in PB mixes with biochar as high as 60%, which is probably the outcome of similar physical properties of the biochar to the commonly used PB.

Background : The purpose of this study is to determine the effect Berg Balance Scale(BBS) evaluating frequency on the walking speed and dynamic balance control in patient with stroke. Method : sixteen patient with stroke were randomly allocated to an experimental and control group of eight patients each. For the experimental group, we performed both general physical therapy and BBS and general physical therapy only for the control group. The general physical therapy programs for the 2 group were conducted for 1 hour 1 a day, 5 times a week for 4 weeks, and BBS for the experimental group was conducted for 1 time a week. Result : A comparison of the Berg Balance Scale(BBS). Timed Up Go test(TUG) and 10 meter Walking Test(10mWT) score obtained before and after the 4-week treatment revealed statistical significant different(p<.05) for the experimental group. BBS evaluated weekly and the first day and the last day evaluated in both groups after 4 weeks of BBS assessment improved significantly were (p<.05) especially in the assessment group on a weekly basis more improvement was. BBS weekly assessment group and the first day and on the last day, a group evaluation after 4 weeks in both the change of the TUG, 10mWT was significantly improved in the evaluation group(p<.05). Conclusion : 1 time a week of the BBS assessment of with stroke patients BBS, TUG, 10mWT that can help to improve. especially on a weekly basis, more has been improved.

대학생의 인터넷중독 유발 요인에 관한 연구

인터넷 사용이 보편화됨에 따라 일상생활에서 편리해진 점은 많이 있으나 여러 가지 사회문제를 야기하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 대학생의 과다한 인터넷 사용이 인터넷의존성과 대인관계에 영향을 미치고, 결국에는 자기통제능력을 상실하고 일상생활에 지장을 주는 인터넷중독에 이르게 되는 관계를 밝힌다. 인터넷 사용빈도가 높을수록 인터넷의존성, 대인관계 및 인터넷중독 정도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고, 인터넷의존성이 클수록 대인관계에 문제가 있고, 인터넷중독 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났고 대인관계에 문제가 있을수록 인터넷중독 정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. Even though wide usage of internet makes daily life easier, it drives many social problems. This article reveals that heavy usage of internet affects status of mind and relationships with others, and ends up to the internet addiction. We found the more college students use internet, the more they become internet dependent, problematic in relationships with others and internet addictive. And more, internet dependency provokes internet addiction and problems in relationship with others and problems with others induces internet addiction, too.

엑셀 매크로를 이용한 절차 중심 통계교육도구 개발

Recently the needs for education on Statistics is growing bigger, but a mathematics-oriented education makes college students loose interest in Statistics. On the hypothesis that motivating interest is the key factor for learning, we need to develop an education tool for Statistics that makes learners to study independently but throughly. By using Excel Macro, we develop and introduce add-in program, called PETS, which supplies not only results but also process to get them. 통계에 대한 사회적 관심이 점차 높아져 통계학 교육의 중요성이 대두되고 있지만 대학에서의 통계학 교육은 수리적인 면에 치우쳐 있어 학생들의 관심이 저하되는 것이 사실이다. 흥미로운 학습이 가장 효율적이라는 가정하에 통계학습의 흥미 유발과 이해능력 향상을 위해서는 학습자들이 적극적으로 활용할 수 있는 통계교육도구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서 소개하는 통계교육도구 (PETS)는 엑셀 매크로를 사용하여 개발한 것으로, 결과만 보여주는 것이 아니라 중간과정과 설명들을 함께 나타내어 학습자 스스로 효율적인 통계학습을 할 수 있게 만들었다.

This paper aims to understand the comprehensive context of domestic mental health by analyzing the modern mental health paradigm’s main characteristics, which are related to deinstitutionalization, the voluntary sector, and complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), in terms of space-time. For data and methods, analyzing related words based on news big data as a diachronic perspective is chosen; besides, visualization and spatial statistic are used for a synchronic aspect. The results are as follows: first, we identify the characteristics of mental health care after the enactment of the Korean Mental Health Act via the analysis of related words. The related words include general features of modern mental health; also, it reflects mental health issues in a period such as 'Corona Blue'. Second, as a result of exploring the distribution of mental health welfare centers and psychiatric hospitals, mental health welfare centers are deinstitutionalized across the country, but the hospitals for treatment are still distributed in the Greater Seoul. For a healthier mental health care system, it requires a micro approach including the relationship between caregivers and care recipients from a perspective of a regional/local level. 본 연구는 현대 정신건강 패러다임의 주요 특징인 탈시설화, 비전문의료인의 참여, 대체의학적 관점을 시공간적 측면에서 분석한 결과로 국내 정신건강의 거시적 맥락을 파악하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 연구의 방법으로 통시적 관점에서 뉴스빅데이터를 기반한 연관어 분석을, 공시적 관점에서는 시각화 및 공간통계분석을 활용하였으며, 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연관어 분석을 통해 정신보건법 제정 이후의 정신건강의 특징을 확인했다. 연관어들은 전반적인 현대 정신건강의 특징을 포함하며. ‘코로나 블루’ 등 시기별 정신건강 이슈를 반영하고 있다. 둘째로, 공간 분석을 통해 정신건강복지센터와 정신의료기관의 분포를 탐구한 결과, 정신건강복지센터는 탈시설화가 전국적으로 이뤄지고 있으나, 진료병원은 여전히 수도권에 편향되어 있다. 보다 건강한 정신건강체계를 위해서는 지역적 차원에서 돌봄 주체 및 대상의 관계에 대한 미시적 접근이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

관절 경직 환자의 물리 치료를 위한 공압 구동형 하이브리드 로봇 개발

본 논문에서는 관절 경직 환자의 재활 치료를 위한 공압 실린더를 이용한 하이브리드형 로봇을 연구 개발하였다. 공압 실린더는 우수한 컴플라이언스를 가지고 있고 부피나 중량에 비해 높은 구동력을 가지고 있다 낮은 강성을 지닌 공압 구동기는 안정이 보장되어야 하는 물리 치료용 로봇의 구현에 적용하기 적당하다. 본 연구에서 제안한 로봇 시스템은 직렬형과 병렬형을 결합한 하이브리드 형으로 위치 결정부와 자세 결정부로 구분되며 하이브리드 구조를 통해 넓은 작업영역과 구동력을 얻을 수 있었다. 슬라이딩 모드 제어기를 이용하여 로봇 시스템의 공압 서보시스템의 추종성과 안정성을 얻을 수 있었으며 실험을 통하여서 개발된 시스템에 대한 검증을 하였다. In this paper. the pneumatic service robot with a hybrid type is developed. A pneumatic has the advantages of good compliance , high Payload-to-weight and payload-to-volume ratios. high speed and force capabilities. Using pneumatic actuators. which have low stiffness. the service robot can guarantee safety. By suggesting a new serial-parallel hybrid type for the service robot which separates into Positioning motion and orienting motion, we can achieve large workspace and high strength-to-moving-weight ratio at the same time. A sliding mode controller can be designed for tracking the desired output using the Lyapunov stability theory and structural properties of pneumatic servo systems. Through many experiments of circular trajectory. the Pneumatic service robot is evaluated and verified.

엑셀 매크로 기능을 이용한 표본추출에 관한 연구

수강하는 학생 개개인이 응답한 여러 개의 파일을 한 파일에 모은 다음 이 자료를 가지고 난수생성, 표본추출 과정과 방법, 모수와 통계량을 비교하는 프로그램을 엑셀 매크로로 작성하였다. 모집단에서 일부분의 표본을 추출하여 모수와 통계량의 차이를 비교하는 등 자료의 생성, 분석, 결과의 해석을 빠른 시간내에 해결하여 학생들이 흥미를 가지고 수업에 참여하도록 유도한다. 엑셀에서는 난수발생시 중복된 값이 발생하는데 본 연구에서는 비주얼베이직 매크로로 비복원추출 프로그램을 작성하여 활용한다. In this paper, we made a program to compare between population parameters and sample statistics, via Excel macro. This program gathers each students’ files to one file, from which a sample is drawn. This program will help students to be interested in class through extracting a part of sample from a group and comparing the difference between parameters and statistics in a few seconds. In Excel, overlapping value could happen when random numbers are generated but we avoid this case by making the sub-program, without replacement with VBA.

스마트폰중독이 정신건강, 학교생활, 대인관계에 미치는 영향 - K대 대학생을 중심으로

스마트폰이 2009년 국내에 첫 출시된 이후 사용이 보편화됨에 따라 일상생활에서 편리해진 점은 많으나 여러 가지 사회문제를 야기하고 있다. 본 연구는 대학생들의 스마트폰 이용실태를 조사하고 대학생들의 스마트폰중독 정도에 따른 문제점과 정신건강, 학교생활, 대인관계의 상호관계를 파악한다. 스마트폰중독을 예방하기 위한 방안을 제시하여 대학생들의 스마트폰중독 해결을 위한 기초 자료로 활용하고자 한다. 연구결과 스마트폰중독 현상은 정신건강, 대인관계, 학교생활 등 여러 방면에서 문제를 발생시키는 것으로 나타났다. 스마트폰중독은 대인관계에 대한 직접효과도 유의하지만 정신건강이라는 매개와 학교생활이라는 매개에 의한 간접효과도 유의하게 나타났다. Since the smartphone was first released in 2009, its common use has made everyday life convenient but caused many social problems. In this article, we surveyed the status of smartphone usage and identified the influence of smartphone addiction on mental health, campus life and personal relations of university students. We gave the methods to prevent smartphone addiction, which could be used as basic materials for solving the problems. We found the smartphone addiction syndrome cause problems of mental health, campus life and personal relations in many ways. In addition to significant direct effects, smartphone addiction has significant indirect effects on personal relations via mental health and campus life as a medium.
