본 연구에서는 인체를 통신채널로 사용하는 PAN(Personal Area Network) 중에서 생체 센서(Bio sensor)에 적합한 인체통신 방식을 제안한다. 생체센서용 통신시스템은 인체내외의 센서에서 수집된 대량의 정보가 허리나 팔 등에 장착된 수신부로 고속 전송할 수 있어야 한다. 제안된 모뎀은 인체채널에 대한 특성을 분석하여 특성이 우수한 10MHz의 저주파 대역을 사용하며 저 전력과 소형화에 유리한 기저대역 통신방식으로 설계되었다. 설계된 모뎀은 20cm거리에서 $BER=10^{-5}$로 5Mbps까지 전송이 가능하며, $2{\times}2cm$의 초소형으로 구현하고 동작을 확인하였다. In this paper, we propose a new Intra-body communication system for bio-sensor which is one of applications in PAN(Personal Area Network) using body channel. The communication systems for bio-sensor network usually transmits a lot of data acquired in sensor to the receiver in wrist or waist. So we deign the intra-body modem with high data rate, low power, and small size which are achieved by baseband communication techniques. It is noted that the baseband transmission does not requires any analog IF and RF frontends, and can be operated in lower frequency than bandpass transmission. The proposed modem operates at 10MHz band according to the characteristics of intra-body channel, and shows the capability of 5Mbps data rate at distance of 20cm, with $BER=10^{-5}$. In addition, we implement the modem within $2{\times}2cm$ area.

This study had been performed to analyze flushing effects for instantaneous contaminants input with changing dam discharge in River. RMA-2 and RMA-4 models were applied to the downstream part of the Han River(from Jamsil submerged weir to Singok submerged one) The longitudinal dispersion coefficient of $50m^2/s$ was used. The four cases of dam discharges were selected as $500m^3/s,\;1000m^3/s,\;1500m^3/s$ and $2000m^3/s$, respectively, for 1 hour. The drought flow was fixed $200m^3/s$ in the Han River. The arrival time and the concentration of contaminant, the area of dispersion were estimated with RMA-4 model in the downstream part of the Han River. The arrival time which the concentration of contaminants become under 1ppm was analyzed with the stagnant and the instantaneous inflow contaminant at the section of Sungsan Bridge. The more increasing a dam discharge, the more short a dilution time of contaminant. The relation between the dam discharge and dilution time shows linearity. The instantaneous contaminant input was sensitively affected by the dam discharge than the stagnant contaminant one in the river. If it is tried to flush with a temporally increased dam discharge, it should be understood the range of overflowed contaminant dispersion from main channel to tributary channel. 본 연구에서는 갈수시 하천에 순간적으로 유입되는 오염물질에 대해 댐방류량 변화에 따른 플러싱 효과를 분석하였다. 한강하류부(잠실수중보${\sim}$신곡수중보)에 RMA-2 및 RMA-4 모형을 적용하였으며, 유로특성을 반영할 수 있도록 종확산계수는 $50m^2/s$을 사용하였다. 댐방류량은 1시간동안 $500m^3/s,\;1000m^3/s,\;1500m^3/s,\;2000m^3/s$로 변화시켰으며, 갈수시 유량은 $200m^3/s$로 고정하였다. 정체되어 있는 경우와 순간적으로 유입되는 경우, 성산대교 부근에서 농도가 1ppm 이하로 떨어지는 시간을 각 유량별로 분석하였다. 댐방류량이 증가할수록 희석시간이 단축되는 것을 알 수 있었고, 댐방류량과 희석시간이 선형관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 순간적으로 유입된 오염물질이 정체된 오염물질의 경우보다 댐방류량에 민감하게 영향을 받으며, 댐방류량에 의한 플러싱을 시도할 경우에는 본류의 오염물질이 지류로 역류하는 범위를 파악할 수 있었다.

After the manual shutdown of the Wolseong nuclear power plant due to an earthquake in Gyeongju in 2016, anxiety about the earthquake safety of nuclear power plants has become a major social issue. The shear wall structure used as a major structural element in nuclear power plants is widely used as a major structural member because of its high resistance to horizontal loads such as earthquakes. However, due to the complexity of the structure, it is challenging to predict the dynamic characteristics of the structure. In this study, a three-story shear wall structure is fabricated, and the in-structure response characteristics of the shear wall structure are evaluated through shaking table tests. The test is performed using the Gyeongju earthquake that occurred in 2016, and the response characteristics due to the domestic earthquake are evaluated.

In this study, the maintenance problems were investigated through checking the creeks which were improved by close-to-nature river improvement technique. The characteristics of flow were measured at Changsa Creek in Suwon city. The computational results of numerical model with kinematic wave theory was evaluated through observation data about precipitation, velocity, and flow depth. Furthermore, SCS, Clark, and RRL models were compared to the actual observations. As a result, the kinematic wave theory`s calculated peak time of discharge concentration occurred little earlier than the actual observation, but the tendency of hydrograph coincided with observation. 본 연구에서는 자연형하천으로 정비된 소하천의 실태조사를 통해 정비현황의 문제점을 조사하였다. 수원천 수계에 포함된 창사천을 대상으로 현장관측을 실시하였다. 창사천에서 관측된 강우량, 유속, 수심 등의 자료를 이용하여 운동파 모형의 적용성을 평가하였으며, 실무에서 널리 사용되고 있는 SCS, Clark, RRL 모형과도 비교하였다. 운동파방정식을 창사천유역에 적용했을 때 실측치와 비교적 유사한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

Purpose: To report a case of compressive optic neuropathy due to breast cancer metastasis to the periorbital lesion 26 years after the treatment of primary cancer. Case summary: A 64-year-old female presented with headache, facial pain and visual disturbance in her left eye for four months. The patient had received chemotherapy and radiotherapy after left breast modified radical mastectomy for invasive ductal carcinoma 26 years previously, and right breast wide resection with axillary dissection nine years earlier. Best corrected visual acuity was 20/20 in the right eye and 8/20 in the left eye. The color perception test showed abnormal findings in the left eye. MRI and PET-CT revealed an enhancing mass in the left periorbital area that was compressing the optic nerve. Partial resection of the tumor and left orbital wall was performed. Adjuvant chemotherapy and radiotherapy was performed after the operation. After two months later, the best corrected visual acuity was 20/20 in the left eye, and the color perception test showed normal findings, which have been maintained for one year. Conclusions: Prompt management can result in visual recovery in patients with compressive optic neuropathy caused by breast cancer metastasis. J Korean Ophthalmol Soc 2010;51(8):1161-1165
