        A multiple ganglion arised from quadriceps tendon of thirty two year old women was presented. The biopsy led to diagnosis. Each cyst which was about IcmX IcmXIcni in size, round slight bluish colored and soft, was exised in its base on quadriceps tendon. The postoperative course has been satisfactory, showing no recurrence for aperiod of twelve months after surgery.

        Evaluation of Resistance to the Aphid (Aphis glycines Matsumura) in Soybean Cultivars and Germplasms

        Native of soybean aphid (Aphis glycines Matsumura)is an Asia and aphid is one of the dangerous pests in soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.]. High density aphid populations can reduce crop production by causing severe damage. The objective of this study was evaluation of resistance to the soybean aphid in soybean cultivars and germplasms. A total of fifty five soybean cultivars or germplasms, including two susceptible and two resistant check varieties, were infested to evaluate their resistance in the field cage and greenhouse test by aphid colonies which derived from wild collected one soybean aphid biotype in Korea. The average number of reproduced soybean aphid was evaluated with 62.7 aphids in the resistant check variety PI 567598B and also estimated with 1,807 aphids for susceptible check variety Williams 82. In soybean varieties and germplasms, the average reproduced soybean aphid populations ranged from the lowest 497 aphids for Junjeori to the highest 3,862 aphids for Mansu. About seventy six percent of soybean cultivars and germplasms were shown high density soybean aphid populations when compared with another susceptible check variety PI 567543C in the field cage test. From the greenhouse test to evaluate aphid index, 87.3% of soybean cultivars or germplasms presented aphid index with 9.0. No soybean cultivars and germplasms were observed with soybean resistant phenotype when regarded a aphid resistant level as less than 10% aphid reproductions compared with susceptible check Williams 82. Although no Korean soybean cultivars were identified with resistant trait to the soybean aphid, we found one great resistant genetic resource PI 567598B in this study. This result will be helpful to further study for providing useful genetic information for soybean researchers.

        금연관련 심리측정 도구

        효율적인 금연진료와 흡연자 교육을 위해서는 니코틴 의존과 금단증상 및 기타 관련된 증상에 대한 지속적이고 정확한 평가가 이루어져야 한다. 니코틴 의존과 갈망 측정을 위해 많이 쓰이는 도구로 Fagerström Test for Nicotine Dependence (FTND), Cigarette Dependence Scale-12 (CDS-12), Nicotine Dependence Syndrome Scale (NDSS), Questionnaire on Smoking Urges (QSU) 등이 있다. FTND는 가장 많이 쓰이는 니코틴 의존척도이지만 일일 흡연량에 대한 측정과 생리적 의존만을 측정할 뿐, 흡연갈망이나 강박적 사용 등의 심리적 의존을 측정하지 못하는 한계가 있다. CDS-12와 NDSS, QSU는 니코틴 의존의 다양한 측면들을 보다 세밀하게 측정하고자 할 때 유용하게 사용될 수 있는 도구이다. Mood and Physical Symptoms Scale (MPSS), Minnesota Nicotine Withdrawal Scale (MNWS)는 금단증상을 측정하기 위해 기존에 많이 쓰이던 도구이다. 그러나 MPSS와 MNWS는 1개의 단일한 문항으로 1개의 금단증상을 측정하므로 타당도와 신뢰도의 저하가 문제될 수 있다. Wisconsin Smoking Withdrawal Scale (WSWS)는 금단증상을 보다 정확하게 측정하고자 개발된 것이다. Cigarette Withdrawal Scale-21 (CWS-21)은 인터넷을 사용해 전 세계인들을 대상으로 개발한 도구로 타당도와 일반화 정도가 매우 높은 척도라고 할 수 있다. 금연효능감 척도는 일상생활에서 접하기 쉬운 흡연 유혹상황에 대한 자기효능감을 측정한 것이다. 흡연신념척도는 청소년들이 흡연의 효과에 대해 믿고 있는 강도를 측정하기 위해 개발된 도구이다. 이러한 도구들을 금연연구와 임상에서 활용한다면 큰 도움이 될 것이다.

      • 경화된 수중 비분리 콘크리트의 특성에 대한 기초적 연구

        In general, the setting and hardening time of antiwashout underwater concrete in comparison with general concrete is seriously delated. Accordingly, the objective of this study is to compare the unit weights and compressive strength of antiwashout underwater concrete cured in fresh water, salt water(15℃)for 7 days,28 days, and 91 days respectively. In this study, the mixing design of antiwashout underwater concrete was performed with the admixtures(antiwashout underwater agent, superplasticizer) of 7 companies to be easily obtained in domestiv area. From the experiment results, plastivity of antiwashout underwater concrete placed by self leveling was considerably good, and unit weight of it was 2.285㎏/㎥ which is lighter than general concrete, Second, In ontrast with general concrete, com-pressive strength of antiwashout underwater concrete had steadily increased for 91days Finally, compressive strength of antiwashout underwater concrets was about 0.74∼0.77 of plain concrete and compressive strength of antiwashout underwater concrete cured in salt water was about 0.81∼0.84 of that in fresh water.

      • 제작조건에 따른 수중불분리성 콘크리트의 특성에 관한 기초적 연구

        In this study, the following conclusion was obtained through experiments on condition of casting of antiwashout underwater concrete. When experiments were made on antiwashout underwater concrete of fresh whose W/C, s/a, blend rate of GGBF Slag changed, it was found that when the blend rate went up, the mass of suspended solids increased. When experiments were made on antiwashout underwater concrete of fresh whose W/C changed, it was found that when the blend rate came down. But s/a, blend rate of GGBF Slag changed, it was found that when the blend rate went up pH decreased. In the experiment of slump flow, it was found that the antiwashout underwater concrete reached slowly the distance of 50 centimeter due to its high viscosity, but its slump flow appeared better in five minutes due to its low yield stress. The fact that the amount of air increased when W/C decreased, it was found that when the blend rate came down. s/a, blend rate of GGBF Slag changed, it was found that when the blend rate went up shows that the GGBF Slag whose specific surface area is large increased the entrained air. All of the compression strengths of specimen which was casting and curing in sea water reached the strength a design strength(240kgf/㎠), but specimen which was done so in fresh water did not reach the design strength when GGBF Slag was not blended.
