청간해주탕(淸肝解酒湯)이 알코올성 간손상 Proteome에 미치는 영향

Objectives : The purpose of our study was to investigate the effects of Chungganhaeju-tang (Qingganjiejiu-tang) on alcoholic liver damage by applying proteomics. Materials and Methods : Sprague-Dawley rats were used in this experiment; the rats were divided into a control group, alcohol group and Chungganhaeju-tang + alcohol group. Ethanol was orally administered twice a day for 4 weeks to the alcohol group. Water without ethanol was administered twice a day for 4 weeks to the control group. Ethanol + Chungganhaeju-tang extract was orally administered twice a day for 4 weeks to the Chungganhaeju-tang + alcohol group. The livers of each group were processed and we investigated histology, OxyBlot, 2-dimensional electrophoresis, and western blot of liver of each group. Results : In the histological findings of the liver, the alcohol group showed portal fibrosis with a few septa or without septa. The Chungganhaeju-tang + alcohol group showed no fibrosis or portalfibrosis without septa. In the OxyBlot finding, Chungganhaeju-tangprevented liver damage by oxidation. In the 2-dimensional electrophoresis finding, formiminotransferase cyclodeaminase (FTCD), glucose regulated protein, 58 kDa (GRP58K), aryl sulfotransferase, sulfotransferase family 1A, member 2, similar to acyl-coenzyme A oxidase-like, and catalase were changed. Conclusion : Chungganhaeju-tangexerts an inhibitory effect against the fibrosis and oxidation induced by alcohol in rat liver cell, and some proteins induced by alcohol were changed by Chungganhaeju-tang.
Nd-Fe-B 소결자석의 소결 후 열처리 조건에 따른 미세조직 및 자기적 특성 변화

Nd-Fe-B permanent magnets have been utilized on various industrial fields such as electric vehicles, generator, robots with actuator, etc, due to their outstanding magnetic properties even 10 times better than conventional magnets. Recently, there are many researches that report magnetic properties improved by controlling microstructure through adjusting alloying elements or conducting various processing. Especially, post-sintering annealing (PSA) can significantly improve the coercivity by modifying the distribution and morphology of Nd-rich phase which formed at grain boundaries. In this study, Nd-Fe-B sintered magnets were subjected to primary heat treatment followed by secondary heat treatment at 460oC, 500oC, and 540oC to investigate the changes in microstructure and magnetic properties with the secondary heat treatment temperature. EBSD analysis was conducted to compare anisotropic characteristics. Through the SEM and TEM observation for analyzing the morphology and distribution of Nd-rich phase, we investigated the relationship between microstructure and magnetic properties of sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets.
A Study on Subcontractor Evaluation Model Using AHP for an Aircraft Manufacturer Company in Korea

Partner selection is one of the most important decision making for successful production and order processing for a given company. The purpose of this study is to develop and provide the subcontractor evaluation model for aircraft manufacturer companies in Korea. The descriptive analysis and the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) analysis methods were conducted. Previous practice in Korean aviation industry focused on quantitative variables to evaluate the subcontractors. This study contributes to the extension of research criteria with managerial and qualitative aspects of aviation industry in Korea. As a result, aircraft completion companies need to be specifically designed to expertise with respect to subjective rating based on technology partners to measure the presence or absence of Certified.
만성 B형 간염을 동반한 초기 간경변 환자에서 인진청간탕(茵蔯淸肝湯) 투여 관찰한 5례

Liver cirrhosis is a liverdisease in which the normal microcirculation, the gross vascular anatomy, and the hepatic architecture have been variably destroyed and altered with fibrous septa surrounding regenerated or regenerating parenchymal nodules. Liver cirrhosis is regarded as a serious health problem with high prevalence in the world as well as in Korea. Liver cirrhosis is an irreversible disease. However, in cases of liver cirrhosis induced by chronic hepatitis B, we should treat the chronic hepatitis B, because it frequently progresses to cirrhosis and hepatoma. We observedimprovements of symptoms and laboratory tests with herb medicine Injinchunggan-tang (茵蔯淸肝湯) in five cases ofliver cirrhosis and chronic hepatitis B. The serum aminotransferase was preserved within normal value levels for a long time, 3 years to 7 years. However, further study is necessary to determine the effect of herb medicine on liver cirrhosis and chronic hepatitis B.
표면처리에 의한 유기발광소자(OLED)용 Ag 전극의 Nano-size 효과 연구

Top-Emitting OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) 디스플레이에서는 반사율이 가장 높은 Ag (silver) 박막이 쓰이고 있지만, 소자에서 요구되는 일함수(work function)가 상대적으로 낮기 때문에 전극과 유기물간에 에너지 장벽이 발생하여 발광효율을 낮추는 요인이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Ag 전극의 일함수를 높이기 위한 연구를 진행하였으며, 박막 형태의 Ag 전극에 대하여 nanotribology 접근법으로 연구를 실행하였다. Ag는 rf magnetron sputter를 이용해 glass 위에 증착한 후 furnace에서 $300^{\circ}C$, 30분간 대기 중에서 열처리하였고, 또 다른 시료는 표면에 산소 상압플라즈마로 처리 시간(30, 60, 90, 120s)을 각기 다르게 하여 시료를 제조하였다. Ag 전극을 nanoindentation을 통해 국부 영역에 대한 물리적 특성의 변화를 측정하였고, Kelvin probe force microscopy을 이용해 시료 표면의 포텐셜을 측정했다. 그 결과 열처리한 시료의 포텐셜값은 가장 크게 증가하였지만 균일도가 낮아졌다. 120s 플라즈마 처리한 시료는 불완전한 산화막의 생성으로 인해 탄성계수 및 경도값과 박막의 Weibull modulus를 극히 낮게 만들었지만, 60s, 90s 플라즈마 처리는 시료의 균일도를 높이고 또한 포텐셜을 증가시켜 T-OLED 성능 개선에 좋은 영향을 미치게 될 것이다. Although silver is used for T-OLED (Top emitting organic Light-Emitting Diode) as reflective anode, it is not an ideal material due to its low work function. Thus, we study the effect of annealing and atmospheric pressure plasma treatment on Ag film that increases its work function by forming the thin silver oxide layer on its surface. In this study, we deposited silver on glass substrate using RF sputtering. Then we treated the Ag samples annealing at $300^{\circ}C$ for 30 minutes in atmosphere or treating the atmospheric plasma treatment for 30, 60, 90, 120s, respectively. We measured the change of the mechanical properties and the potential value of surface with each one at a different treatment type and time. We used nano-indenter system and KPFM (Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy). KPFM method can be measured the change of surface potential. The nanoindenter results showed that the plasma treatment samples for 30s, 120s had very low elastic modulus, hardness and Weibull modulus. However, annealed sample and plasma treated samples for 60s and 90s had better mechanical properties. Therefore, plasma treatment increases the uniformity thin film and the surface potential that is very effective for the performace of T-OLED.
