        단감수출단지 과원과 수출단감 병해충 조사

        단감 병해충의 관리와 원활한 수출 정보를 위하여 2010년부터 2012년까지 3년 동안 전남 순천, 경남 진주, 창원(동읍과 북면), 김해, 그리고 울산 울주지역의 수출과원과 비수출과원과 수확과에서 병해충을 조사하였다. 수출 단감과원에서 확인된 병은 모무늬낙엽병, 탄저병, 둥근무늬낙엽병, 흰가루병, 잿빛곰팡이병이었고, 그 중 둥근무늬낙엽병의 피해가 높은 편이었다. 과일에서는 Colletotrichum gloeosporioides와 Colletotrichum acutatum 탄저병의 피해가 문제였다. 발견된 해충은 5목 20과 32속 33종이었고 점박이응애도 발생하였다. 그 중 애무늬고리장님 노린재와 식나무깍지벌레, 애모무늬잎말이나방이 비교적 넓은 지역에서 발생하고 있었고, 담배거세미나방, 차잎말이나방 등도 발생하고 있었다. 해충에 의한 피해는 매우 낮았다. 검역대상 해충인 복숭아명나방과 감꼭지나방은 거의 발생하지 않았거나 문제가 되지 않았고, 감나무애응애, 온실가루깍지벌레는 전혀 발견되지 않았다. 선과장과 수출과에서는 이들 검역대상 해충인 복숭아명나방, 감꼭지나방, 감나무애응애, 온실가루깍지벌레는 전혀 발견되지 않았고, 깍지벌레와 점박이응애가 낮은 비율로 발견되었다. 병으로는 진주와 김해의 저장고 수확과에서 C. acutatum탄저병 이병과가 1개 과에서만 발견되었다. Between 2010 and 2012, diseases and insect pests of sweet persimmon were surveyed at sweet persimmon export complexes and non-export orchards in Suncheon, Jeonnam Province; Jinju, Changwon (Dongeup and Bukmyeon), and Gimhae, Gyeongnam Province; and Ulzu, Ulsan. The following diseases were found in the sweet persimmon orchards: angular leaf spot (Cercospora kaki), anthracnose (Colletotrichum gloeosporioides and Colletotrichum acutatum), circular leaf spot (Mycosphaerella nawae), powdery mildew (Phyllactinia kakicola), and gray mold (Botrytis cinerea). Circular leaf spot was the most frequent and serious disease, and C. gloeosporioides and C. acutatum were found on fruits. Thirty-three insect pest species that belonged to 32 genera of 20 families in 5 orders were found in the sweet persimmon orchards; the two-spotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae, was also found in the surveyed orchards. Apolygus spinolae, Pseudaulacaspis cockerelli, and Adoxophyes orana were widely found in the surveyed orchards; Spodoptera litura and Homona magnanima were also recorded. Damage by insect pests was low, and the quarantine insect pests peach pyralid moth (Dichocrocis punctiferalis) and persimmon fruit moth (Stathmopoda masinissa) were rarely or not found in the sweet persimmon export complexes. In addition, other quarantine insect pests, such as persimmon false spider mite (Tenuipalpus zhizhilashviliae) and Japanese mealybug (Planococcus kraunhiae), were not detected. These quarantine insect pests were also not found in the sorting places, storage houses, and fruits for export; however, scale insects and two-spotted spider mites were found at a low rate. Although anthracnose (C. acutatum) infested fruit was found in the storage houses, only one in Jinju and Gimhae.

        Occurrence and Environmentally Friendly Control of Rice Stem Borer, Chilo suppressalis in Amur Silver Grass (Mischanthus sacchariflorus) Plantation

        Insect pests and environmentally friendly control agents were investigated from artificially made Amur silver grass (Miscanthus sacchariflorus) plantations in Iksan (Jeonbuk province), Hwasun (Jeonnam province), and Sancheong (Gyeongnam province). In addition, environmentally friendly control of rice stem borer (RSB), Chilo suppressalis was made with entomopathogens isolated from the given plantations and commercial products in laboratory and field. RSB was confirmed as a major pest in the Amur silver grass which had received attention as a biofuel feedstock in recent. In the light of brief ecology of RSB, overwintering larval density was the highest in Hwasun plantation as 3.7/㎡, followed by Sancheong plantation as 0.1/㎡. Although overwintering larvae were not found from Iksan plantation, there were lots of damage traces in the plants. Emergence time of 1<SUP>st</SUP> generation of RSB was early May in all plantations. Environmentally friendly control agents used in the experiments were entomopathogenic nematodes (Korean indigenous Steinernema carpocapsae Pocheon strain, S. carpocapsae Iksan strain, S. monticolum Hwasun strain, and Heterorhabditis megidis Hwasun strain), fungus (Beauveria bassiana isolated from Hwasun), and commercial Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki. In the environmentally friendly control of RSB, S. carpocapsae Iksan strain, B. bassiana, and H. megidis Hwasun strain isolated from plantations were more effective than S. carpocapsae Pocheon strain in the field as 80.6%, 60.2%, and 58.3% efficacies, respectively. However, S. carpocapsae Pocheon strain was more effective in the laboratory, that is, 49.6% mortality was shown in the S. carpocapsae Pocheon strain, followed by 24.8% in the H. megidis Hwasun strain, 20.4% in the S. carpocapsae Iksan strain, 12.0% in the S. monticolum Hwasun strain, and 6.4% in the B. bassiana Hwasun isolate. Because application of chemical insecticides is not desirable to control insect pests in the Amur silver grass plantations around or close to river, environmentally friendly control agents, especially entomopathogens isolated from plantations are positively recommended for the control of RSB in the Amur silver grass plantations.

        민들레분말 첨가 요구르트의 품질 특성

        The effects of adding Dandalion powder (Taraxacum mongolicum powder, TMP) to yoghurt manufacture on quality characteristics during the fermented and storage were investigated. Yoghurt samples were prepared with 0.3%, 0.6%, 0.9% TMP. Changes in Titratable acidity, Lactic acid bacterial (LAB) population, pH, viscosity, sensory characteristics were monitored during the fermented and storage. LAB and titratable acidity added with the TMP in yoghurt was higher, and pH, viscosity was lower than those of the control yoghurt during the fermented. Also the TMP yoghurt was lower viscosity than control in fermentation but this viscosity became to be increased higher than the control during storage. The sensory values of the yoghurt added with the TMP were low compared with the Control. Regarding taste, appearance, sensory properties it were suggested that the added optimum ratio of TMP for yoghurt was below 0.3%. This study suggests that dandalion powder (TMP) added yoghurt supply additional nutrients while maintaining the flavor and quality.

        노랑쐐기나방과 장수쐐기나방에 대한 곤충병원성 선충의 병원성

        Recently the damage has increased not only fruit trees and flowers but also landscape trees, street trees and garden trees as the density of Monema flavescens and Latoia consocia increases. If stinging hairs of the larva or adult is touched the workers body, it is causesd inflammation and pain, in addition to plant damage. However the only insecticide is the chlorantraniliprole which is registered for the Monema flavescens in japanese apricots. Although many farmers use neem oil, Sophora flavescens, effective micro organisms, pyroligneous liquor, etc. the environmentally friendly control measure, it can not satisfy them with its low effectiveness. We tested the insecticidal property of Steinernema carpocapsae GSN1 strain (ScG) and Heterorhabditis sp. Gyeongsan strain (HsG) separated in Korea to control larvae of M. flavescens and L. consocia. As a result, ScG can effectively control larvae of M. flavescens and L. consocia with 10 concentration and at 6 PM in July.

      • 경남 진주지역 골프장의 나방상 연구

        Moths were collected to survey turfgrass pest and to compare species diversity from Jinju Country Club in Jinju, Gyeongsangnamdo, Korea, every 10 days using 200W mercury light trap from middle May to late October in 2008. As the results, only 23 individuals of Pseudaletia separata, Spodoptera depravata, Spodoptera litura, Agrotis segetum, and Agrotis ipsilon were collected as turf grass insect pests. However, 2028 individuals of 388 species in 22 families were collected in total. Dominant species was Culcula panterinaria, Fentonia ocypete, Hypsopygia regina, Culcula panterinaria, Flavocrambus striatellus, and Diarsia camescens in May, June, July, August, September and October, respectively. Species diversity was not different between two surveyed sites, but different among surveyed time. Species richness was more higher in hole 11 (Hole was surrounded by natural forest and located near pond) than hole 15 (Hole was located at the top part of mountain). Dominance index of moth was increased from October compared with diverse index and richness index were decreased from October. A large number of species and individuals were recorded in Noctuidae (502 individuals in 131 species), Geometridae (491 individuals in 84 species), Pyralidae (386 individuals in 73 species), and Notodontidae (277 individuals in 25 species). These four families were 80.9% out of all the collected species. 골프장에서 나방류 잔디해충과 나방류의 다양성을 알아보기 위하여 경남 진주에 있는 전주컨트리클럽에서 수은 등을 이용하여 2008년 5월 중순부터 10월 하순까지 10일 간격으로 두 개의 홀에서 조사를 하였다. 18회 조사에서 채집된 잔디해충은 검거세미나방과 잔디밤나방, 담배거세미나방, 거세미나방, 멸강나방이었으며 채집 개체수는 모두 23개체로 매우 적었다. 전체 나방류는 22과 388종 2028개체가 채집 되었으며 5월에는 노랑띠 알락가지나방(Culcula panterinaria)이 우점종이었고, 6월은 밤나무재주나방, 7월은 주홍애기비단명나방(Hypsopygia regina), 8월은 노랑띠알락가지나방, 9월과 10월은 검은줄포충나방(Flavocrambus striatellus)과 물결밤나방(Diarsia camescens)이 우점종이었다. 나방류의 종다양도는 두 조사지 간에 차이가 없었으나 조사 기간 내에는 차이를 보였다. 자연림에 둘러 싸여있고, 인근에 연못이 있는 11번 홀이 산정부에 위치하여 있으면서 자연림 이 코스 절개지 아래쪽에 있는 15번 홀에 비하여 종풍부도가 높았다. 나방류의 우점도는 10월부터 증가하였으나 다양도와 풍부도는 감소하였다. 밤나방과가 가장 많은 종수와 개체수(131종, 502개체)가 채집되었으며 그 다음으로 자나방과(85종, 491개체), 명나방과(73종, 386개체), 재주나방과(25종, 277개체) 순이었다. 그리고 이들 4과가 전체 채집 종의 80.9%를 차지하였다.

        감 과원에서 감관총채벌레(Ponticulothrips diospyrosi Haga et Okajima)의 발생과 피해

        우리나라에서 감관총채벌레(Ponticulothrips diospyrosi)의 피해지역을 알아보기 위하여 2008년부터 2009년까지 2년간 6개도 11개 시 군의 143개 감 과원에서 조사를 수행하였다. 제주도의 제주지역(4개 과원)과 전북의 완주지역(12개 과원)에서는 피해가 없었으며, 강원도의 강릉지역과 경남의 산청지역에서는 피해가 새로이 확인되었다. 경북의 의성, 구미, 상주, 문경 지역에서의 감관총채벌레에 의한 피해과원율은 73.3%로서 경남이나 충북 영동지역에 비하여 높았다. 피해주율은 경북구미 지역이 23.5%로 가장 높았으며 진주와 산청지역에서는 0.2%와 1.6%로 낮았다. 피해엽률은 상주지역이 0.12%로 다른 조사지역에 비하여 높았다. 감관총채벌레는 북위 $35^{\circ}07'50"-35^{\circ}51'24"$, 동경 $127^{\circ}38'36"-128^{\circ}53'02"$지역에 분포하고 있었다. 감관총채벌레의 피해는 산과의 거리가 가까운 과원에서 많았고, 산과 가까운 과원에서는 과원의 가장자리 부분에서 심하였으며, 수관 내에서는 중부와 하부의 피해엽율이 높았다. Occurrence of Japanese gall-forming thrips, Ponticulothrips diospyrosi was surveyed from 143 orchards at 11 cities or counties in 6 provinces, Korea from 2008 to 2009. Occurrence of P. diospyrosi was not observed from Jeju (4 persimmon orchards) in Jeju-do and Wanju (12 persimmon orchards) in Jeollabuk-do. However, P. diospyrosi occurred newly in the orchards in Sanchung, Gyeongsangnam-do and in Gangreung, Gangwon-do. Rate of damaged orchards by P. diospyrosi in Gumi, Mungyeong, Sangju and Euseong in Gyeongsangbuk-do (73.3%) was higher than that of in Gyeongsangnam-do or Youngdong areas in Chungcheongbuk-do. A maximum rate of damaged trees by P. diospyrosi was 23.5% in Gumi, while the damage was lower in Sancheong and Jinju representing 0.2 and 1.6%, respectively. Rate of damaged leaves by P. diospyrosi was the highest in Sangju (0.12%). P. diospyrosi occurred between $N35^{\circ}07'50"$ and $35^{\circ}51'24"$ and between $E127^{\circ}38'36"$ to $128^{\circ}53'02"$. Persimmon orchards close to mountain were more damaged by P. diospyrosi. Edge parts of persimmon orchards were more damaged by P. diospyrosi than inner parts, especially in orchards close to mountain. Also, the middle and lower parts of tree canopy were more damaged by P. diospyrosi than the upper parts of canopy.

        아바멕틴과 에마멕틴벤조에이트 수간주입 시기에 따른 잔류량과 소나무재선충(Bursaphelenchus xylophilus)에 대한 예방 효과

        Pine wood nematode (PWN), Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, was serious pine tree parasitic nematode in the world. Trunk injection is used as a preventive control method by injecting an agent into the trunk before the PWN becomes infected. This study was conducted in a pine forest to investigate the effect and residual amount of abamectin and emamectin benzoate, which are used as control agents for PWNs, according to the time of tree injection. There was a difference in the inhibitory effect of PWN infection according to the tree injection period. The tree mortality rate was low for abamectin from November to February and emamectin benzoate from October to April trunk injection treatment. The residual amount of the treated nematicides showed a difference according to the injection time. Abamectin showed the highest residual amount in March treatment, and emamectin benzoate showed the highest residual amount in December treatment. Considering the mortality rate of PWN infection and the residual amount, it is expected that trunk injections will be best done from November to February for abamectin and October to April for emamectin benzoate.

        Ampullary neuroendocrine tumor is rare but requires total resection for treatment. Traditionally, pancreatic duodenal resection has been recommended for treatment of ampullary neuroendocrine tumor. Because of the morbidity and mortality associated with surgical resection, endoscopic papillectomy is increasingly used in selected cases with low grade, no metastasis, and no invasion of the pancreatic or bile duct. We present a case of an ampullary neuroendocrine tumor which was successfully and completely resected via endoscopic papillectomy. Endoscopic papillectomy can be a viable alternative for the resection of neuroendocrine tumor at the major duodenal papilla in cases with high surgical risks.
