Objectives : This study was conducted to investigate the membrane potential to apply Doksam-tang to a human heart failure model. Methods : The human heart model was built by Luo et al. CellML model, Priebe et al. CellML model, and a human heart mesh file. Doksam-tang gives channel the half maximal inhibitory concentration(IC <sub>50</sub> ), half maximal effective concentration(EC <sub>50</sub> ) values and compounds concentrations. These data load into the laptop with Ubuntu OS, and build the library with the data. Results : While results of the study with the heart failure model shows abnormal membrane potential from the normal heart model, the study with applying Doksam-tang to heart failure model shows restoring membrane potential that is similar to normal heart model. Conclusions : These results of the testings suggest that a conception of novel technique to investigate the effects of Korean herbal medicine.
HDD 읽기 채널용 6-bit 800 Msample/s DSDA 아날로그/디지털 변환기의 설계

본 논문에서는 하드디스크 드라이브 읽기 채널용 아날로그/디지털 변환기를 설계하였다. 본 회로는 고속 저에러율 비교 동작이 가능한 빠른 regenerative autozero 비교기에 기반을 두고 있고, 아키텍쳐에 Double Speed Dual ADC(DADA) 방식을 사용하여 전체 A/D 변환기의 속도를 효과적으로 향상시켰다. 또한 autozero 구조에 적합한 새로운 타입의 thermometer-to-binary 디코더를 사용하여 글리치를 제거하였고 기존의 구조를 보다 최적화시켰다. 이 ADC는 6-bit, 해상도, msample/s 최대 변환속도로 설계되었으며, 390mW 전력 소모와 한 클럭주기의 latency를 가진다. 설계에 0.65m CMOS 공정을 사용하였다. This paper introduces the design of high-speed analog-to-digital converter (ADC) for hard disk drive (HDD) read channel applications. This circuit is bated on fast regenerative autozero comparator for high speed and low-error rate comparison operation, and Double Speed Dual ADC (DSDA) architecture for efficiently increasing the overall conversion speed of ADC. A new type of thermometer-to-binary decoder appropriate for the autozero architecture is employed for no glitch decoding, simplifying the conventional structure significantly. This ADC is designed for 6-bit resolution, 800 Msample/s maximum conversion rate, 390 mW power dissipation, one clock cycle latency in 0.65 m CMOS technology.

Variations of nickel contents and microstructures in molten magnesium alloys on the addition of aluminum, zirconium, and manganese have been investigated. Specimens were prepared by melting under SF6 and CO2 atmosphere and casting into a disc of 29 mm diameter with 7~10 mm thickness from the melt acquired at the top of crucible. Before casting, the molten metal was stirred for 3 minutes after each addition of alloying elements and maintained for 30 minutes for settling down. Results showed that zirconium did not significantly affect the content of nickel while aluminum remarkably reduced it by forming Al3Ni2 phase. When manganese are added to Mg-1wt%Ni alloy along with aluminum, both elements remarkably reduced the content of nickel. The addition of 1.5 wt% manganese to Mg-1wt%Ni alloy containing aluminum further reduced the content of nickel by more than 30%, during which an additional intermetallic phase Al10Mn3Ni was precipitated in the molten magnesium.

이종접합태양전지는 단결정 실리콘 기판 표면에 고품질 비정질 실리콘층을 적층함으로써 전기의 근원인 전하의 재결합 손실을 줄여 높은 개방전압을 얻을 수 있다는 특징이 있다. 초박형 태양전지는 기존 태양전지보다 뛰어난 광전변환 특성(Photovoltaic characteristic)을 가지고 두께가 얇아 제품 형상 시 자유도가 높아진다. 본 논문에서는 n-type Bare wafer(160{sim}180{mu}m)를 이용하여 50{mu}m의 웨이퍼를 제작하였다. a-Si:H(p)_a-Si:H(i)_c-Si(n)의 광흡수층 구조를 성막하여 cell을 제작하였다. 그 결과 Voc(Open Circuit Voltage)가 0.666, Jsc(Short-Circuit Current)가 34.77, FF(Fill Factor) 69.413, Efficency 16.07%를 달성했다.

Emphysematous gastritis is a rare form of gastritis caused by infection of the stomach wall by gas forming bacteria. It is a very rare condition that carries a high mortality rate. Portal venous gas shadow represents elevation of intestinal luminal pressure which manifests as emphysematous gastritis or gastric emphysema. Literature reviews show that the mortality rate is especially high when portal venous gas shadow is present on CT scan. Until recently, the treatment of emphysematous gastritis has been immediate surgical intervention. However, there is a recent trend of avoiding surgery because of the frequent occurrence of post-operative complications such as anastomosis leakage. In addition, aggressive surgical treatment has failed to show significant improvement in prognosis. Recently, the authors experienced a case of emphysematous gastritis accompanied by portal venous gas which was treated successfully by conservative treatment without immediate surgical intervention. Herein, we present a case of emphysematous gastritis with concomitant portal venous air along with literature review.
