        신경근에서 발생한 흉추부 경막외 수막종 1례

        Extradural meningiomas are relatively rare and those arising from spinal root are even rarer. Recently, a case of extradural meningioma arising from a spinal nerve root was surgically treated in our institution. This patient was a 19-year-old female presented with paraparesis and paresthesia. The mass was compressing the spinal cord at the level of fourth thoracic spine, and it was extended to the nerve root. At operation it was found to be originated from the fourth thoracic spinal nerve root. After removal of the tumor, the neurologic symptom and sign were recovered completely. Histoligic examination of tumor revealed as transitional type of meningioma.

        경추간판탈출증에 대한 미세 전측방 Tunnel Approach의 결과

        Objective : The authors report the microsurgical anterolateral tunnel approach for the treatment of the cervical disc diseases and its postoperative surgical results. Methods : All surgical procedures followed the method of classical microsurgical anterior discectomy. Small tunnel(7-8mm) was made on the disc space reaching to the posterior longitudinal ligament. The disc materials and bony spurs were removed through this tunnel. Thirty-one patients of cervical disc herniation(24 cases with pure disc herniation, 7 cases with combined cervical spondylosis) were evaluated on the symptoms, conformation in plain X-ray, C-T, and MRI. The follow up time was over 2 years. Results : Postoperatively the result(following the out come scale) was excellent and good in Twenty-nine patients. One with fair result showed remnant disc particle and spur and another one is combined with cord contusion. One patient with lesion in C 3-4 space and two cervicothoracic junction showed excellent result. Two patients with osteoporosis also showed good results. Cervical spine curvature and disc space height were not changed on the plain X-ray and MRI in all patients. Twenty-nine patients were discharged within 3 days after surgery without any postoperative complications. Conclusions : The microsurgical anterolateral tunnel approach could be indicated for the treatment of patients with cervical disc diseases and with difficulty in achieving interbody fusion(the higher cervical level and cervicothoracic junction, osteoporosis etc.).

        From the ethanol extract of the leaves of Artemisia selengensis a new sesquiterpene endoperoxide, bisabolene-2,5-endoperoxide, has been isolated. The structure of the peroxide was established on the basis of spectroscopic evidence.

        Objective:While total resection is a desirable goal for the treatment of craniopharyngioma, it is not always accomplished, and is associated with permanent endocrinological and visual deficits. This knowledge has led us to perform intratumoral bleomycin injection as a primary therapy for cystic craniopharyngioma. Methods:Six patients(4 adult and 2 children) in whom cystic craniopharyngioma was diagnosed were treated primarily with a schedule of 3 mg of intracystic bleomycin administration, three times a week for 5 weeks. One patient was excluded due to bleomycin leakage in reservoir permeability test. Two out of remainders underwent subsequent resection and radiotherapy, and one was treated with ventriculoperitoneal shunt. Median follow-up period was 36 months. Results:There was a reduction(>90%) in cyst size in 5 patients with the preservation of endocrinological function. However, the median recurrence-free survival was only 22 months. Conclusion:Intracystic bleomycin administration could be a feasible option for the treatment of predominantly cystic craniopharyngioma in terms of symptom relief and pituitary function preservation. However, it is suggested that the efficacy of intraumoral bleomycin therapy is temporary and it has the risk of meningitis and neuropathy.

        사기에 의한 보험금청구에 대한 법적 고찰 -영리보험과 사회보험에서의 논의를 중심으로-

        In these days, insurance fraud has been extremely prevalent in our society, leading to harmful effects to the insureds. In the way that it runs a risk to put the entire insureds into the grave economic peril, proper sanctions are needed in case of insurance fraud. This paper is with the object of proposing suitable solutions to this problem by pointing out the drawbacks of the existing system. In order to fulfill the objective of this paper, the researcher provides some suggestions. One thing is that it needs to be prescribed in the Korean Commercial Code not to admit rights of claim in case of fraudulent insurance claim, and the other thing is to put the additional criteria in the provision of National Pension Act, which suspend national pension benefits temporarily to whom not accepting the investigation of the National Pension Service without reasonable reasons.

        0.6Nm급 소형 CMG 하드웨어 개발 및 성능시험

        CMG(Control Moment Gyro)는 가장 효과적인 모멘텀 교환장치의 하나로 인공위성의 자세제어에 사용되는 구동기이다. 고기동성을 요구하는 위성에 CMG의 사용이 필수적이며 해외뿐만 아니라 국내에서도 CMG의 개발과 적용에 대한 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 고기동성이 요구되는 소형 인공위성을 위한 Single-Gimbal CMG(SGCMG)에 대한 하드웨어 개발 결과 및 이에 대한 성능검증시험 결과를 제시하였다. 개발 시 요구되는 토크사양은 0.6Nm이며 성능검증시험을 통해 요구되는 사양 이상의 토크를 발생시킬 수 있는 것을 확인하였다. 개발된 SGCMG 하드웨어에 대한 시험결과를 분석하여 향후 성능개선 및 실제 위성에 사용하기 위해 고려되어야 할 사항 등에 대해 논의되었다. Control Moment Gyro(CMG) is one of the most efficient momentum exchange devices for satellite attitude control and CMG is very essential device for agile satellite. And the studies of CMG development and its application to satellite have been done extensively. In this study, the development process of SGCMG hardware for agile small satellite system, the developed hardware and its performance test results are presented. As a SGCMG test results, it is verified that the developed hardware model can produce torque more than 0.6Nm as is designed. By investigating its test data results, the issues that should be considered for the performance improvement and its application are discussed. The remedies for the identified issues are proposed for future study.

      • 멀티 모드 기반의 방송 수신기 구현에 관한 연구

        본 논문에서는 한 가지의 TV 방송 플랫폼 구현에만 그쳐왔던 기존의 시스템에서 벗어나 여러 나라의 방송 규격에 대응하는 멀티 시스템 개발을 목표로 현재 미국 방송 규격 서비스에 있어 서로 다른 규격인 고화질 MPEG-2 기반의 HDTV 지상파 방송 서비스 및 H.264 기반의 이동수신을 위한 모바일 방송 서비스를 실시간으로 처리할 수 있도록 구현하며, 한 개의 프로세서를 이용하여 멀티 모드 기반의 TV 방송서비스를 구성하는 방법을 제안한다. 따라서 제안하는 설계 기법을 적용하여 여러 나라의 TV 방송 서비스에 있어 설정 하나만으로도 전세계에서 실시간 TV 방송 서비스가 가능할 뿐만 아니라, 다양한 멀티미디어 콘텐츠와 고화질의 서비스를 얻을 수 있다. 따라서 기존의 셋탑박스 뿐 아니라 휴대기기 및 IT 제품에 있어 휴대 및 이동하며 수신할 수 있는 서비스를 제공할 것이다.

      • MR유체를 적용한 소형 브레이크에 관한 연구

        MR fluid is widely used in many kinds of actuators because of its good controllability. The damping characteristic of the MR brake is controllable by varying the magnetic field around the fluid. In this paper, a MR brake is designed and analyzed using FE analysis. Under consideration of spatial limitation, design parameters are determined to maximize to torque using finite element method. The FE analysis is performed using a commercial code, ANSYS workbench. he proposed brake device is manufactured, and its field-dependant torque is experimentally evaluated. When the electric current increases, the torque of the MR fluid brake is increased and the response time of MR fluid brake is very fast. Depending on the strength of the current supply, torques of the MR fluid brake also increases.

        알긴산올리고당 처치 마우스에서 방사선 유도 산화질소의 변화

        본 연구에서는 알긴산올리고당의 일부 방사선 방어효과를 규명하기 위해 마우스에 3 Gy 선량의 방사선을 1회 전신 조사하여 방사선 유도 nitric oxide를 측정하였다. 측정결과 방사선조사 대조군에서 nitric oxide 생성이 하강된 반면, 방사선조사 전 3일간 처치군 및 방사선조사 후 3일간 처치군에서 유의한 생성 증가를 보였고, 특히 방사선조사 전 3일간 처치군에서 가장 큰 차이를 보였다(P<0.001). 결론적으로, 항산화효과가 탁월한 알긴산올리고당은 nitric oxide의 생성 증가를 촉진시킴으로써 일부 방사선 방어작용을 수행한다는 사실을 규명하였고, 화학적 독성이 적은 자연산생물이 방사선방어제로 활용될 수 있음을 확인하였다. In order to find out the radioprotective effect of algin-oligosaccharide, this study, with a mouse of which whole body irradiated by 3 Gy radiation once, measured nitric oxide. In nitric oxide test for observing the reaction of cell inflammation, nitric oxide showed decreased in the irradiation control group, while 3 day's treatment group with algin-oligosaccharide before or after irradiation indicated higher than the irradiation control group, especially showed big difference in 3 day's treatment group before irradiation (P<0.001). Consequently, this study inquired into the fact that algin-oligosaccharide with superior antioxidant activity performed radiation protection by increasing promotion of nitric oxide generation and confirmed that natural product with less chemical toxicity was able to be applied as radioprotector.
