A dual-porosity filmed agglomerate model for the porous cathode of the molten carbonate fuel has been investigated to predict the perovskite type cathode performance. The model predicts steady-state cell performance, given the above conditions that characterize the state of the perovskite electrode. Also, the effective surface area of electrode pore was obtained by mercury porosimeter. The results of the investigation are presented in the form of plots of overpotential vs. current density with varied the electrode material, gas composition and mechanism. The predicted polarization curves are compared with the empirical data from 1 ㎠ cell.
장요근에 대한 침치료환자군과 MET치료환자군의 호전도 비교 연구

Object : This study was planned to show the influences of MET(muscle energy techniques) treatment and acupuncture treatment on iliopsoas muscles of sprain and strain of lumbar spine patients. Method : This study was carried out on the 39 patients who had been treated for their sprain and strain of lumbar spine from March 2 to October 15, 2010 in the department of oriental rehabilitaion medicine, Dongsuwon oriental medicine hospital. And 22 out of 39 patients had a tenderness and pain in their iliopsoas muscles. And we divided those 22 patients into 2 groups by blocked randomization; group A took near acupuncture point needling treatment on the iliopsoas muscles, group B took MET(muscle energy techniques) treatment on the iliopsoas muscles. To evaluate the efficiency of each treatment, all patients were examined with VAS(visual analogue scale) before treatment and after the 3rd, 5th treatment. Result : On the VAS, it was decreased significantly after treatment in all groups. And it didn't show the clear difference between two groups. Conclusion : In this study, it did not show statistical difference in VAS between two groups.
Association of impaired lung function with duration of sex hormone exposure

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the association between duration of exposure to sex hormones and lung function in postmenopausal women. Methods: We used data from Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, 2007 to 2016. Eligible population were postmenopausal women aged 40 to 64 years and underwent spirometry (n=6,633). Participants were excluded if they had missing on duration for hormone exposure (n=1,683); or if they were below 35 years in menopause (n=21). Participants were divided based the quintile of duration for hormone exposure and lung function by spirometry was compared between groups. Results: Of 4,929 women, 762 (15.4%), 2,855 (57.9%) and 1,312 (26.7%) patients were categorized into the first, the second to the forth, and the fifth quintile of duration for hormone exposure. Median duration for hormone exposure was 24 years (13-26), 31 years (27-33) and 35 years (34-45). Participants in the first quintile had more impaired lung function (p=0.004) and restrictive or obstructive patterns of lung function (p=0.025) compared to those in the rest quintile. This association persisted even after adjusting for age, body mass index, smoking status, cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, musculoskeletal disease and forced expiratory volume in 1 second, % predicted (odds ratio: 1.69; 95% confidence interval: 1.04 to 2.76). Conclusions: In the postmenopausal women, the proportion of participants with impaired lung function was higher in the group with low exposure of hormone.
생산자지지추정치(%PSE) 추정 시 시장가격지지(MPS) 대상 품목 확대를 통한 지표 개선 방안

본 연구의 목적은 OECD의 %PSE 추정 시 %PSE를 구성하는 MPS 추정 대상 품목 확대 방안에 대해 살펴봄으로써 현행 %PSE 추정의 문제점과 개선점을 도출하는 것이다. 선행연구들은 직접적인 농업생산 보조액 변동없이 품목 확대, 품질 계수도입 같은 기술적인 방법으로 %PSE 지표 개선이 가능함을 보였다. 본 연구는 OECD의 2016 PSE 메뉴얼의 계산 방법을 적용하고 OECD에서 제시한 계산법을 현실에 부합하도록 세밀하고 정교하게 분류하여 조금 더 다양한 시나리오를 활용했다는 점에서 선행연구들과의 차별성이 있다. 본 연구는 MPS 추정 시 추정 대상 품목 확대를 통한 %PSE 개선 방안을 중점으로 연구를 진행하였다. 그 결과 현행 MPS 추정이 과대 추정의 문제가 있음을 보였고 따라서 추정 대상 품목 확대가 현실 여건을 더 잘 반영하고 지표를 완화함을 보였다. 본 연구에서 설정한 시나리오에 따르면 MPS 추정 대상 품목 확대 시 가장 엄격한 시나리오에서는 약 0.34%의 지표 개악, 가장 낙관적인 시나리오에서는 약 9%의 지표 개선, 농업 시장 여건을 가장 적절히 반영한 시나리오에서 약 4%의 지표 개선이 확인되었다.

The electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide to produce alcohols and hydrocarbons has been examined on Cu/PTFE-bonded gas diffusion electrodes. The highest faradaic efficiencies for carbon monoxide, methante, ethylene, methanol and ethanol were 19.3, 12.4, 8.7, 7.3 and 3.8%, respectively. The faradaic efficiency and selectivity for the reduction products were dependent on operating conditions. Best results were found in -2.0 V vs. SCE and KHCO₃ electrolyte.
