With the thousands of Heat Recovery Steam Generators(HRSGs) delivered worldwide over the last decade or so, it is operating the peak load on daily start-stop, weakly start-stop, taking advantage of various startup-shutdown types such as Cold ambient start, Cold start, Warm start, Hot start. But, these operating process bring on thermal deformation caused by heat transfer efficiency decrease, high temperature exhausted gas leakage, fatigue damage, etc. So, through this study, we tried to offer the preventive measure toward performance deterioration by such sectional heat duty calculation, structural observation, performance valuation of HRSGs in operation, and contribute to life extension for existing facilities.
시호 약침제제의 자유기 소거능 및 지질과산화 억제효능에 관한 연구

Bupleury radix has been used for the treatment of fever, liver disease, inflammation in traditional medicine. The present study was carried out to evaluate the antioxidant effects of Bupleury radix aqua-acupuncture solution (BRAS) in vitro. Oxygen derived free radicals produced in the course of normal aerobic life, such as superoxide anion radical($O_2^-$ ), hydroxyl radicaI( OH), hydrogen peroxide($H_2O_2$) and singlet oxygen($^1O_2$) can attack polyunsaturated fatty acid in cell membranes, enzymes, other cell compounds, and give rise to lipid peroxidation, DNA damage, lipofuscin accumulation, structure alteration of cell membrane and cell death. In this study, antioxidant effects of BRAS on lipid peroxidation were determined according to the method of TBA. BRAS inhibited markedly peroxidation of linoleic acid during the autoxidation, and also inhibited lipid peroxidation induced by hydroxyl radical derived from $H_2O_2-Fe^{2+}$ in rat liver homogenate. And BRAS showed 30% scavenging effect on DPPH radical, also exhibited a 30% inhibitory effect on superoxide generation from xanthine-xanthine oxidase system. In addition, BRAS protected the cell death induced by tert-butyl hydroperoxide(t-BHP) and significantly increased cell viability in the normal rat liver cell(Ac2F).

In order to investigate the effects of Bupleuri Radix aqua-acupuncture solution (BRAS) on immuno suppression induced by glucocorticoid, ICR mice were administrated with glucocorticoid (80 mg/kg) for 7 days, and immunized with hapten, methamphetamine-horseradish peroxidase $(10\;{\mu}g/mouse)$. And then, BRAS (0.2ml/mouse) injected into $CV_4\;and\;BL_{23}$, which are the classical acupuncture points in traditional medicine, for 7 days. And then B and T cells proliferation and cytolytic activity of natural killer (NK) cells were measured. Intraperitoneal injection of glucocorticoid decreased lysozyme activity in macrophage and cytolytic activity of NK cell. B and T cell proliferation were significantly increased in aqua-acupuncture group compared to normal group. On the other hand, BRAS significantly increased the lysozyme activity in macrophage, and the cytolytic activity of purified NK cell on K562. These results suggest that BRAS at $CV_4\;and\;BL_{23}$ may proliferate B and T cells that are suppressed by glucocorticoid and activate NK cell activity.
생약(生藥) 약침액(藥鍼液)이 암예방(癌豫防) 효소계(酵素系)에 미치는 영향(影響)

금은화, 당귀, 감두를 이용하여 조제한 각각의 약침액을 이용하여 암예방효과를 살펴 보았다. 발암물질을 무독화시키는 QR 생성 유도를 생쥐의 간암세포인 Hepa1c1c7과 측정하였으며, 그 결과 금은화 약침액, 당귀 약침액, 감두약침액을 처리한 Hepa1c1c7에서 QR생성이 유도되었으며 GSH 생성을 살펴본 결과 Hepa1c1c7세포에서 실험에 이용된 모든 생약 약침액에 의한 GSH 생성이 증가하였고, GST 생성 또한 증가하였다. Induction of phase Ⅱ enzymes such as quinone reductase (QR) or glutathione S-transferase (GST) is considered a major mechanism of protection against initiation of carcingenesis. The induction of detoxification enzymes and glutathione were studied with Lonicerae Flos aqua-acupuncture solution (LFAS), Angelicae gigantis Radix aqua-acupuncture solution (AGRAS), and Gamdutang aqua-acupunture solution (GAS) in murine hepatoma cells grown in microtiter plate wells. LFAS, AGRAS and GAS were potent inducers of QR activity. LFAS was induced about 2.6-fold at concentration of 3×. AGRAS and GAS were also induced about 2.6-, 1.8-fold at concentration of 5×, respectively. In addition, GST activity was increased with LFAS, AGRAS, and GAS. GSH levels were increased about 2-fold with LFAS at concentration of 5×, 1.3-fold with AGRAS at concentration of 3×, and 1.2-fold with GAS at concentration of 5×. These results suggested that LFAS, AGRAS, and GAS may act as blocking agents against carcinogenesis by induction of phase Ⅱ marker enzymes.
자유기에 의한 지질과산화 반응에 대한 황금 약침액의 항산화 효능

Scutellariae radix, has been used as a natural drug for fever, inflammation, cataract, and liver disease in traditional medicine. This study was performed in order to investigate the antioxidative effects of Scutellariae radix aqua-acupuncture solution (SRAS) on lipid peroxidation by free radicals. Lipid peroxidation levels were determined by TBA method during the autoxidation of linoleic acid. In this linoleic acid autoxidation system, SRAS markedly exhibited antioxidant activity, which inhibited 89% of linoleic acid peroxidation. SRAS showed scavenging effects on ${\alpha},{\alpha}-diphenyl-{\beta}-picrylhydrazyl$(DPPH) radical, inhibited superoxide generation in xanthine-xathine oxidase system, and also inhibited lipid peroxidation of rat liver tissue by hydroxyl radical derived from $H_2O_2-FE^{+2}$ system. These effects were similar to those of $dl-{\alpha}-tocopherol$, BHA and BHT. In addition, SRAS protected the cell death induced by ter-butyl hydroperoxide (t-BHP) and significantly increased cell viability in the normal rat liver cell (Ac2F). On the basis of these results, it is suggested that SRAS might play a protective role in lipid peroxidation by free radicals.

Gamdutang aqua-acupuncture solution(GAS), Gamdutang water-extracted solution(GWS) and Degamdutang aqua-acupuncture solution(DGAS) were prepared and tested for potential antitumor activities. It was used three biomarkers (quinone reductase, omithine decarboxylase, glutathione) to test chemopreventive potentials of GAS, GWS, DGAS. GAS was potent inducer of quinone reductase activity in Hepalclc7 murine hepatoma cells in culture, whereas GWS is less potent. GAS, GWS and DGAS were significantly induced quinone reductase activity in cultured rat normal liver cell, Ac2F. Glutathione levels were increased about 1.8-fold with GAS, 1.0-1.1 fold with GWS, DGAS in cultured murine hepatoma hepaiclc7 cells. In addition glutathione s-transferase levels were increased with GAS, GWS and DGAS. The effects of GAS, GWS and DGAS were tested on the growth of Acanthamoeba castellanii. Proliferation of Acanthamoeba castellanii was inhibited by GAS, GWS and DGAS at concentradons of $1{\times}$ and $5{\times}$. These results suggest that GAS has chemopreventive potential by inducing quinone reductase and quinone reductase activities, inhibition of ornithine decarboxylase activity, and increasing glutathione levels.
중요도-만족도 분석을 활용한 서울시 수상택시 이용자 서비스지표 분석

2007년 10월 11일, 한강일대를 오가는 관광 및 출퇴근 용도의 수상택시가 운항을 시작하였다. 그러나 서울의 교통난을 해결할 수 있을 것이라는 기대와는 달리 경제성, 접근성과 관련된 문제로 인해 이용이 활성화 되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 대중교통관련 선행연구고찰을 토대로 수상택시 서비스 평가 항목을 개발한 후, 이용자 만족도 설문조사, 중요도-만족도 분석(IPA: Importance Performance Analysis)을 통하여 현재 제공되고 있는 수상택시 서비스에 대한 이용자 측면의 서비스 특성을 분석하고, 이에 대한 시사점을 제시한다. 종합적인 서비스 측면의 IPA 결과, 첫째, 중점개선항목으로 경제성에 대한 부분이 나타났다. 둘째, 개선요망항목으로 접근성, 정보성, 편리성, 현상유지 항목으로 나타났으며, 안전성과 정시성은 노력지속 항목으로 평가되었다. 셋째, 현상유지 항목으로는 친절성과 쾌적성으로 나타났다. 이러한 종합적인 측면의 결과를 바탕으로 수상택시 이용자의 서비스특성을 판단해 보면, 이용자의 경제적 부담에 대한 부분이 가장 시급한 것으로 나타났다. 접근성 즉, 연계교통수단에 대한 부분과 수상택시를 이용할 수 있는 표지판 및 편리성에 대한 부분이 개선되어야 하는 것으로 나타났다. 분석결과를 종합하여 투지우선순위 선정시 한정된 예산을 바탕으로 경제성, 접근성, 정보성, 편리성을 시급히 개선해 준다면 이용활성화에 어느 정도 기여가 가능할 것이라 판단된다. Since October 11th, 2007, water taxi service in Han River has been operated for commuting and sightseeing. However, it is less popularized than expected because of economical problem and accessibility. Therefore, this paper develops service estimation items for water taxi based upon literature review on public transportation. It also conducts survey questionnaire and IPA (Importance Performance Analysis) Analysis to analyze service characteristics of water taxi users and provide several implications. The results are follows: First, economical problem should be solved out as showed in the 'main improvement' item. Second, accessibility, informativeness and convenience in the 'required improvement' item, and security and punctuality in the 'keep up the good work' item are presented. Third, kindness and soundness are showed in the 'the maintenance of current situation' item. All in all, if municipal considers economical problem, accessibility, informativeness, and convenience as it improves water tax service, it will make it possible to attract more water taxi users.
