90년대 말 한국영화의 환상성 경향 연구 - 김기덕의 <나쁜 남자>를 중심으로

90년대에 만들어진 환상적 한국영화 계열의 장르는 다양하다. 이들 작품의 환상성은 굳이 '귀신' 소재 영화들만 한정되어 발현되지 않는다. 예를 들어, 작가 이상(Lee sang)의 미스테리를 바탕으로 완성된 영화 <건축무한 육면각체의 비밀>이 구조주의적 환상의 이야기를 지녔다고 한다면, <텔미썸딩> 같은 작품은 심리주의적으로 관습적인 환상을 지니고 있다고 이야기할 수 있다. 본고는 당대 한국영화의 환상성을 '사실주의에 기반한 알레고리의 완성'을 통해 들여다본다. 그를 위해서 에티엔 수리오(Etienne Souriau)의 환상성 개념을 빌린다. 일부 영화에서 환상성은 현상하는 자연에서 직접 발견될 수 있으며, 이때 자연을 객관화시키는 주체로 자신들의 위치를 격상시키고, 자연에 대한 지배를 정당화한 인간 존재는 그 대가로 '소외'를 맞이하게 된다. 영화의 내러티브에서 이러한 소외의 개념은 알레고리를 통해 자주 드러나는데, 특히 에티엔 수리오가 이른 '개인의 경험'에 따른 환상성의 발현에서 이 점은 더욱 극명해진다. 그런 면에서 김기덕의 영화는 개인의 경험을 통해 사회의 요소들을 알레고리화 하는 대표적 예라 할 수 있다. 김기덕의 <나쁜 남자>를 중심으로, 본고는 90년대 한국의 환상적인 영화들이 사회의 모방을 통해 심미적인 환상성을 구축하는 과정을 분석한다. The genres of fantastic of Korean films created in the 90s are diverse. The fantastics of these works are not manifested only in 'Ghosts' movies. For example, If the film Mystery Of The Cube, which is based on the mystery of Lee Sang, has a story of structuralist fantasy, we can say that a movie like Tell Me Something has a psychologically conventional fantastic. This study examines the fantastic of contemporary Korean films through 'completion of allegory based on realism'. For this, we borrows the fantastic concept of Etienne Souriau. In some films, fantastics can be found directly in the developing nature. In this case, the human being who justifies their domination of nature by upgrading their position as the objectifying subject of nature becomes 'alienated' in return. The notion of this alienation in film narratives is often revealed through allegories, particularly in the manifestation of fantasy by Étienne Souriau in the early 'personal experience'. Kim kiduk's film is a representative example of allegorizing elements of society through individual experience. Focusing on Kim Giduk's Bad Guy, this essay analyzes the process in which fantastic films of Korea in the 90s build up aesthetic fantastic through imitation of society.

수종 Flavonoid의 항허피스바이러스효과

To search for less toxic antiherpetic agents, the inhibitory effects of twelve kinds of flavonoids including chrysin, quercetin, quercitrin, rutin, fisetin, gossypin, kaempferol, morin, naringenin, naringin, hesperetin and hesperidin on the plaque formation of herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) and type 2 (HSV-2) in Vero cells were examined by plaque reduction assay in vitro. Some flavonoids tested in this study showed potent antiherpetic activity, reducing intracellular replication of herpes simplex viruses when Vero cell monolayers were infected and subsequently cultured in medium containing flavonoids. Naringenin showed the most potent antiviral activity against HSV-1 with selectivity index (SI) of 19.1 and hesperetin showed the most potent antiviral activity against HSV-2 with SI of 9.8. These results suggest that some flavonoids may be a potential therapeutic agent for the treatment and prevention of herpes simplex virus infections.

본 고에서는 SaaS를 서비스로 제공하기 위한 기술인 SaaS(Software as a Service) 플랫폼 기술과 개발 동향을 소개한다. 이를 위해 국내외 SaaS 개발 시장의 동향을 살펴보고 국가 플랫폼 개발의 일환으로 2009년부터 ETRI에서 연구개발 중인 SaaS 플랫폼의 개발 및 기술 현황에 대해 살펴본다.

해외건축동향: 대만 - 국립 예술 가오슝 센터

이번에 소개할 건물은 대만의 항구도시로써 국제적 요충지 구실을 하면서 문화적으로 점차 융성해 가고 있는 가오슝에 위치하고 있는 국립 예술 가오슝 센터(The National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts(Wei-Wu-Ying)) 이다. 2000 좌석의 콘서트홀과 2250 석의 오페라홀, 이외에도 크고 작은 극장을 겸비하고 있는 이 시설은 네덜란드의 건축사 그룹 Mecanoo에 의해서 설계되었다. 이곳은 전 군사기지였던 곳을 아열대 공원으로 형성시킨 숲을 바라보는 곳에 위치한다.

Infliximab: 불응성 크론병 치료법으로서의 유용성과 Top-down 관해 유도 요법으로서의 가능성

목 적: 종양 괴사 인자(TNF-${\alpha}$)에 대한 단 클론 항체인 infliximab으로 소아의 난치성 크론병에서의 치료와 관해 유도 치료제로서의 효과에 대한 치료 경험을 보고 하고자 한다. 방 법: 2001년 3월부터 2007년 8월까지 삼성서울병원에서 크론병으로 진단 받은 소아 청소년 중 기존 약제에 관해 유도되지 않는 불응성 크론병(스테로이드 의존성 포함)과 중증 활성 크론병을 가진 16명에서 infliximab (Remicade$^{(R)}$) 5 mg/kg를 관해 유도(0, 2, 8주) 주입하였으며 필요한 경우 8주 간격의 유지 치료를 시행하였고 누공성 크론병의 경우 누공의 상태에 따라 비정기적으로 주입하였다. 대상 환자들의 특징 및 치료 전 후의 질병 활성도, Hct, ESR, CRP, albumin을 paired t test를 이용하여 비교하였다. 결 과: 16명의 남녀비는 13/3이고 중앙 연령은 13세 (21개월~15세)였다. 투여 적응증은 불응성 크론병 7명(스테로이드 의존성 3명 포함), 중증 활성형 크론병의 관해 유도 7명, 누공성 크론병 2명이었다. Infliximab 투여 횟수는 평균 5.19${\pm}$3.41회(3~15회)였고 크론병 진단 후 infliximab 치료 시행까지의 기간 중앙값은 6.5개월(1개월~54개월)이었다. 환자들의 infliximab 투여 전PCDAI (pediatric crohn disease activity index)는 평균 34.19${\pm}$14.96이었으며 마지막 투여 후 2~4주 이내 PCDAI는 6.88${\pm}$10.31로 투여 후 통계적으로 유의한 호전을 보였다(p=0.000). 다른 혈액학적 표지자로 ESR (p=0.000), serum albumin (p=0.016), CRP (p=0.009)가 투여 전후로 의미 있는 호전을 보였으며 적혈구 용적률 (hematocrit)의 호전은 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다(p=0.075). 고식적인 치료에 관해 유도 되지 않았던 난치성 환자 4명 중 2명에서 관해 유도가 가능하였으며 스테로이드 의존성 환자 3명 중 2명에서 스테로이드 중단 1명에서 스테로이드 감량이 가능하였다. 누공이 동반되거나 중등도 이상의 크론병에서 스테로이드를 포함하는 다른 면역 조절제 사용 전에 top-down 요법을 시행한 7명 모두에서 6주 이내에 관해가 되었다. 난치성 누공 치료에서도 10명 중 9명에서 호전되었다. 결 론: Infliximab을 사용하여 소아 불응성 크론병에서 관해 유도와 유지 및 스테로이드 감량 또는 중단이 가능하였으며 중등도 이상의 크론병에서 top-down 관해 요법으로도 비교적 효과적이었다. 앞으로 장기간의 추적 관찰을 통한 효과 판정 및 부작용 관찰을 요한다. Purpose: The aim of this study is to report the efficacy of infliximab, a monoclonal antibody directed against tumor necrosis factor alpha which is used for both treatment of refractory pediatric Crohn disease (CD) and induction of remission. Methods: Among pediatric patients who were diagnosed with CD at Samsung Medical Center between March 2001 and August 2007, a total of 16 patients were given infliximab to treat conventional therapyresistant refractory CD and severe active CD for induction of remission. Patients needing maintenance therapy were treated with an infliximab infusion every 8 weeks, and fistulizing CD patients occasionally received the infusion upon the condition that a fistula developed. The efficacy of treatment was assessed by comparing the Pediatric Crohn Disease Activity Index (PCDAI), Hct, ESR, CRP, and serum albumin levels using paired t-test. Results: The male/female ratio was 13:3, and the median age was 13 years (range, 21 months~15 years). The patients included 7 cases of therapy-resistant refractory CD, 7 cases of severe active CD, and 2 cases of fistulizing CD. Mean PCDAI before infliximab therapy was 34.19${\pm}$14.96, and mean follow-up PCDAI within 2 to 4 weeks after the last infusion was significantly lower, at 6.88${\pm}$10.31 (p=0.000). Hematological markers such as ESR (p=0.000), serum albumin (p=0.016), and CRP (p=0.009) also improved significantly after infusion. Remission was achieved in 2 of 4 patients refractory to conventional therapy. Among 3 steroid-dependent patients, 2 were able to discontinue steroid therapy, and dose reduction was possible in 1 patient. Remission after top-down therapy without prior use of other immunomodulators was achieved in 6 weeks in all 7 of the patients who had severe CD. Nine of ten refractory fistulizing CD patients also showed improvement after infliximab therapy. Conclusion: Infliximab was effective in pediatric refractory CD for induction of remission and maintenance therapy, as well as in severe CD for top-down induction therapy. Furthermore, infliximab has contributed to steroid cessation and dose reduction. Long-term follow-up evaluation is needed to determine safety and efficacy of infliximab in the future.

$MgB_2$ 초전도체의 합성에 미치는 고에너지 밀링에 의한 초기 보론 분말의 특성

We characterized the highly refined boron precursor powders which were attrition milled for different milling times. $MgB_2$ powder precursor was formed from elemental crystalline Mg and amorphous B powder. The microstructure was investigated by SEM. SEM results indicate that the size of the milled powders was reduced with increasing milling time, which were varied from 0 to 8 hours. We also studied thermal behavior of the starting precursor by DSC as a function of milling time. The thermal behavior of the powder precursors was influenced by milling time. In order to determine the thermal events at DSC peaks, we annealed the milled powder mixture at $600^{\circ}C$ and $650^{\circ}C$ under protective gas and then analyzed the formation of $MgB_2$ by the XRD. We observed that superconducting $MgB_2$ phase was formed at lower temperature by the longer high energy milling. These results show that the high energy milling of the boron precursor powder can improve the reactivity for the formation of $MgB_2$.
