수면의 인간의 생활 중에서 가장 흔히 볼 수 있는 행동형태의 하나로, 인간은 일생의 1/3 가량을 수면시간을 보낸다. 적절한 수면은 인간의 신체적, 심리적 건강을 유지하고 활기차고 밝은 사회생활을 하는데 큰 도움을 준다. 한편, 생활 방식의 변화에 따른 과도한 스트레스와 외부 환경적인 원인 등으로 인해 수면장애를 호소하는 인구가 늘어나고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 압력센서와 온도센서를 이용하여 저비용, 고효율적인 수면형태 감지시스템을 설계 하였다. 제안된 시스템을 침대에 설치하여 수면 중 수면자의 머리, 허리, 발에서 나오는 데이터측정을 통해 유용성을 검토하였다. 또한 측정된 데이터를 bluetooth를 이용해 전송함으로써 실시간으로 수면형태의 모니터링 할 수 있는 기본적인 시스템을 구축하였다.

Optimum conditions of coagulation of organic matters in raw water were found to be ozone contact time of 3min, ozone dosages of 0.5㎎ O₃/㎎ TOC, and coagulant dosage of 0.15mM as AI. In addition, preozonation was used as an aid to removal of UV_(254), DOC at optimum condition of coagulant dosage. Hydrophobic fractions were transformed into hydrophilic fraction by ozonation, more DOC. THMs and THMFP were removed by only ozonation than by combination of chlorination and ozonation. From the results of the batch experiments under different oxidation methods, oxidation potential in combination of chlorine and ozone was decreased with increasing chlorine dosages. Because the ozone reacts with free aqueous chlorine present as hypochlorite ion(OCl^-), preozonation could not improve the removal of organics in the water treatment processes in the presence of chlorine.

상장간막동맥증후군은 대동맥과 상장간막동맥이 이루는 각이 줄어들면서 십이지장의 폐쇄를 유발하는 매우 드문 질환이다. 여러 의학적 혹은 정신적 질환에 의해 급격한 체중감소가 발생하면 십이지장 제3부가 통과하는 대동맥과 상장간막동맥 간의 공간에 지방조직이 줄어서 발생하게 된다. 고립 상장간막동맥박리는 급성 장간막 허혈의 매우 드문 원인 중 하나인데, 장경색을 유발하거나 상장간막동맥의 파열의 위험이 높은 박리증의 치료는 응급수술이 우선이고, 생체활력징후가 정상이고, 증상이 심하지 않은 경우엔 보존적인 치료를 시행할 수 있다고 알려져 있다. 최근 몇몇 문헌에서 고립 상장간막동맥박리 때 경피 혈관 스텐트삽입술로 장경색으로의 진행을 막고 단기 예후가 좋다고 보고하고 있으나, 장기 예후에 관한 보고가 없고, 스텐트 관련 합병증이 보고된 것이 적어서, 혈관 스텐트삽입술의 안정성이 명확하게 밝혀지지 않은 상황이다. 본 저자들은 고립 상장간막동맥박리로 인한 급성 장간막 허혈로 경피 혈관 삽입술을 시행 후 발생한 상장간막동맥증후군 합병증을 치료한 증례를 최초로 경험하여 보고하는 바이다. Superior mesenteric artery (SMA) syndrome is a rare disorder, characterized by a decreased aortomesenteric angle that causes a duodenal obstruction. Various medical and psychiatric conditions may result in the initial rapid weight loss that causes narrowing of the aortomesenteric angle. Isolated dissection of the superior mesenteric artery (DSMA) is an uncommon cause of acute mesenteric ischemia. Several literature reports suggest that medical treatment in combination with close observation is reasonable in uncomplicated dissection with stable hemodynamic status. Recently, as several reports describe, rapid revascularization by percutaneous angioplasty and endovascular stent insertion can prevent bowel ischemia that progresses to irreversible bowel necrosis. However, the stability of endovascular stents at the DSMA has not been confirmed, because its use is reasonably infrequent. Here, we report a case of SMA syndrome, as a complication of endovascular stent placement at the DSMA. (Korean J Med 2011;80:S67-S72)

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common malignancies in the world. The association between HCC and lymphoma is very rare. We reported a case of malignant lymphoma of the stomach after treatment for HCC. A 55-year old man presented with epigastric discomfort, He was diagnosed as primary hepatocellular carcinoma with chronic hepatitis B, which treated with transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) and radio-frequency (RF) ablation 3 years ago. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy and histological examination of biopsy specimens confirmed the presence of malignant lymphoma, B cell phenotype, of stomach. He was treated with 2 times of combination chemotherapy. Three months after treatment, follow-up endoscopy revealed that the ulceration was decreased and histologically no evidence of malignant cells. He died esophageal variceal bleeding. The gastric lymphoma was possibly associated with underlying hepatitis B viral infection.
멀티미디어 통신 환경에서 Push/Pull 버퍼 관리 기법

Multimedia communication systems require not only high-performance computer hardwares and high-speed networks, but also a buffer management mechanism to process many data efficiently. Two buffer handling methods, Push and Pull, are commonly used. In the Push method, a server controls the flow of dat to a client, while in the Pull method, a client controls the flow of data from a server. Those buffering schemes can be applied to the data transfer between the packet receiving buffer, which receives media data from a network server, and media playout devices, which play the recived media data. However, the buffer management mechanism in client-sides mainly support either one of the Push or the Pull method. Consequently, they have some limitations to support various media playout devices. Futhermore, even though some of them support both methods, it is difficult to use since they can't provide a unified structure. To resolved these problems, in this paper, we propose an efficient and flexible Push/Pull buffer management mechanism at client-side. The proposed buffer management scheme supports both Push and Pull method to provide various media playout devices and to support buffering function to absorb network jitter. The proposed scheme can support the various media playback devices using a single buffer space which in consequence, saves memory space compared to the case that a client keeps tow types of buffers. Moreover, it facilitates the single buffer as a mechanism for the absorbing network jitter effectively and efficiently. The proposed scheme has been implemented in an existing multimedia communication system, so called ISSA (Integrated Streaming Service Architecture), and it shows a good performance result compared to the conventional buffering methods in multimedia communication environments.
