This study investigates the Korean native speakers' English liquid perception and production. Perception and production experiments were each conducted twice before and after a short period of explicit learning process of phonetic characteristics of English liquids. The results showed that correlation between perception and production varied depending on factors. In both perception and production, word-final position was the most difficult, and cluster position was the easiest. A considerable improvement was observed in word-initial and medial positions in production, whereas no improvement was achieved in word-final position, especially in production. This study is also concerned with the formant structures of Korean native speakers' production of English liquids in order to see what acoustic features are highly correlated with Korean native speakers' production accuracy of English liquids. The results showed that F2 did not show a high correlation while F3 was a strong correlate of the production accuracy.

루트 번스타인의 이론에 기초한 문화예술교육 분야 융합교육 수업방안 연구

The purpose of this study is to maximize the comprehensive understanding of art on a broader basis by preparing convergent educational goals and educational methods for convergence education in the field of culture and arts education. To this end, in this study, first, the Root-Bernstein couple's '8 Basic Goals for Integrated Education Orientation' and the '13 Tools of Thinking' discussed to enhance integrated understanding were reviewed, and then reorganized to be suitable for culture and arts convergence education. In addition, the foundation for convergence education was laid by considering the goals within the educational standards for each field of culture and arts education developed by the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service in 2011 and setting the core common goals of art education to a total of six. In addition, by examining the projects of the Kumdarak Saturday Culture School supported by the Sufficient Cultural Foundation in 2021, the current aspect of convergence education in the field was confirmed. Finally, by synthesizing these contents, a convergence class plan for culture and arts education was proposed. Accordingly, the 13 Tools of thought proposed by the Root-Bernstein couple are suitable as strategies for convergence education in the field of culture and arts education, have high similarity between educational goals in 10 fields of culture and arts education. Through this study, it is hoped that convergence education in the field of culture and arts can be implemented more effectively. 본 연구의 목적은 문화예술교육 분야 융합교육을 위한 융합적 교육목표와 교육방법을 마련함으로써 학습자로 하여금 더욱 폭넓은 토대에서 예술의 종합적 이해를 극대화할 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 먼저, 루트 번스타인 부부의‘통합교육 지향을 위한 8가지 기본 목표’와 함께 통합적 이해를 높인다고 논의된‘13가지 생각의 도구’를 고찰한 후, 이를 문화예술 융합교육에 적합할 수 있게끔 재구성하였다. 그리고 문화예술교육진흥원에서 2011년 개발한 문화예술교육 분야별 교육표준 내 목표를 10개 분야에 대해 고찰한 후 예술교육의 핵심적 공통 목표를 총 6개로 공통되게 설정해봄에 따라 융합교육의 기틀을 마련하였다. 또한, 충분문화재단에서 2021년 지원한 청주지역 꿈다락 토요문화학교 사업들을 살펴봄으로써 현재 현장의 융합교육적 양태를 확인하였다. 마지막으로 이와 같은 내용을 종합하여 문화예술교육 융합 수업방안을 제시하였다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 루트 번스타인 부부가 제안한 13가지 생각의 도구는 문화예술교육 분야 내에서 융합교육 방안의 전략으로 적합하며, 문화예술교육 10개 분야의 교육목표간 유사성이 높다는 것과, 현재 현장 교육프로그램 사례에서 융합교육적 양태를 명확하게 확인할 수 있다는 사실과, 문화예술교육 10개 분야 내에서 융합교육을 실시할 때 각각의 차시에 적절한 교육 방법을 채택하는 것이 필요하다는 사실과, 문화예술교육에서의 융합교육 실행 시 다양한 분야 중 어떠한 분야에 중점을 둘 것인지 고려해야 한다는 결론을 얻게 되었다. 본 연구를 통해 현장에서의 문화예술 분야의 융합교육이 더욱 실효적으로 실행될 수 있기를 바란다.

디지털 미디어를 활용한 중등음악수업 설계 방안 연구

목적 본 연구의 목적은 중등 음악교육현장에서 활용 가능한 디지털 미디어의 종류를 살펴보고 음악수업 설계 전략을 논의한 후, 이를적용한 실제 수업이 어떻게 구현될 수 있는지 알아보기 위해 교수⋅학습지도안을 제시하는 것이다. 방법 이를 위하여 중등 음악교육현장에서 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 디지털 미디어의 종류를 11개 분류로 나누어 고찰하였으며, 디지털 미디어를 적극적으로 활용하면서도 음악교과적 본질을 유지할 수 있게끔 에디(ADDIE)교수학습 설계 모형을 토대로 한 음악수업 설계 방안을 논의하였다. 그리고 마지막으로 중등 교과서에 탑재되어있는 ‘호두까기인형 모음곡’과 ‘대취타’ 제재의 수업지도안을 제시함으로써 디지털 미디어를 활용한 중등 음악수업설계의 청사진을 그려보았다. 결과 본 연구의 결과는 총 6가지로서, 디지털을 활용한 음악교육이 학습자의 흥미 유발, 음악적 문해력 향상을 위한 스캐폴딩(Scaffolding) 제공, 디지털 소양 확대로 이어지며, 음악의 본질적 측면이 유지되기 위해서 교수 설계와 과정의 일체화, 충실한 교재연구, 학습 연계성 확보 등이 중요하다는 점이다. 또한 중등 음악수업에 디지털 요소를 확대하면서 고려해야 할 유의점으로는 온라인수업 내 학습자의 집중력 소실 방지, 학습자 건강을 위해 실감형 콘텐츠의 안전성 확보, 음악 교과의 본질 유지, 과학기술로 변화된교육현장에서의 변화된 교수자 역할 고민 등이 필요하다는 것이다. 결론 시류를 잘 읽어내어, 디지털을 활용한 음악수업 설계 방안이 적극적으로 이루어진다면 중등 학습자를 위한 음악교육은 그들의각 삶에 더욱 적극적으로 스며들어 진정한 이해와 향유로 이어질 것이다.

전이(Transfer)를 제고한 음악감상 수업방안 연구 - 대학교 음악 비전공 학습자를 중심으로 -

The purpose of this study is to develope the teaching plan focused on strengthening the transfer of music appreciation performance. Specially, it’s for non music major learners of university. For this, the music appreciation class model was designed by fusing McTighe & Wiggins’s transfer-related discussions(2005) using the Midfriec music criticism model(Lee, 2018) as a parent. Also for the practical interpretation of the class model, the script for music appreciation class was additionally presented. Thus, seven pedagogical implications were obtained from the process of drawing the blueprint of the class, which is expected to serve as a guide in the application of the model.

Effects of Experience on the Production of English Unstressed Vowels

This study examined the effect of English-language experience on Korean- and Japanese-English late learners' production of English unstressed vowels in terms of four acoustic phonetic features: F0, duration, intensity and vowel reduction. The learners manifested some improvement with experience. The native-like attainment of a phonetic feature, however, was related to the phonological status of that feature in the speakers' native language. The results suggest that the extent to which the non-native speakers' production of English unstressed vowels improved with English-language experience varied as a function of their native language background.

초등 예비교사를 대상으로 한 블렌디드 러닝 기반 개별화 클래스 피아노 수업(DIbBL) 운용 방안

본 연구의 목적은 개별화 교육을 바탕으로 초등 예비교사를 위한 수업에서 진행되는 ‘클래스 피아노’ 블렌 디드 러닝 운용 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 즉, Covid-19 사태에 대응하여 교육현장에서 적극적으로 활용되어 온 블렌디드 러닝 방식을 적용하면서 대면과 비대면 수업을 효율적으로 배치하여 학습자에게 최적의 효과를 도출하고자 함과 동시에 피아노 연주 수행능력에 있어서 기저 수준이 다른 학습자를 위해 개별화 교육 프로 그램을 개발하는 것에 초점을 둔다. 이를 위해 개별화 교육(DI)개념을 적용하여 수업의 원리와 토대로 삼았 으며, 개별화 음악수업 프로그램 운영 원리는 ‘탄력적 음악교수처치 수행, 맞춤형 음악 교수 가이드 제공, 음 악 교육과정의 압축 및 음악 심화학습 지도, 동일 목표-다양한 악곡, 음악적 협력학습’으로서 프로그램의 전 체에서 적합하게 구체화 되었다. 이에 따라 개발된 모형은 대면(개인지도), 실시간 비대면(개인지도), 대면(앙 상블), 비대면(앙상블), 비실시간 비대면(이론지도), 대면 및 비대면 음악회(평가) 총 7개로 구성되는데, 이는 15주차에 걸쳐 주차별 흐름의 특성에 맞게 적용된다. 15주차의 과정에는 각각 교수·학습 주제, 교수·학습내 용, 과정상 유의점, 블렌디드 방법, 학습과제를 포함되는데 이는 블렌디드 러닝의 방법적 특성을 고려하여 설 계하였다. 특별히, 수업의 사전·사후에서 활용할 수 있는 평가 척도와 7주차 수업의 교수·학습 지도안을 첨 부하여 본 연구 내용이 더욱 실효적으로 적용될 수 있도록 하였다. 이로써 결론에서는‘클래스 피아노’ 수업의 교수자를 위해 시사하는 바를 네 가지로 나타내었다. 이 연구를 통해 예비교사의 피아노 실력을 함양할 수 있는 토대를 확고히 함으로써 궁극적으로는 교육현장에서의 초등 학습자들이 더욱 진정한 음악적 체험을 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

뉴노멀 시대 문화예술교육 접근성 확대 방안 연구 - 성인 학습자를 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 뉴노멀 시대에서 성인을 위해 문화예술교육의 지속성 및 접근성 확대 방안에 대하여 논의하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 뉴노멀 시대 성인들의 문화예술적 향유 양상을 놀이 와 경계 허물기의 관점에서 살펴보았으며, 이에 적합한 교육모듈을 구체적 항목에 따라 구안하 고 이것을 음악교육 분야에 적용한 수업설계 개요로 제시하였다. 이 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 제언을 할 수 있다. 이는 성인문화예술교육의 원활한 운용을 위해 교수자 연수를 실시하고, 맞춤 형 교육을 위한 토대 마련이 탄탄하게 이루어져야 한다는 것, 새로운 기술적 환경에서 문화예술 교육을 적극적으로 모색하고 활용해야 할 것, 예술의 본질이 변질되거나 왜곡되지 않도록 지침 이 마련되어야 한다는 것이다.

영화 등장인물들의 발음변수의 사회언어학적 연구

The goal of this study was to examine the patterns of how some of the optional phonological variables in English are manipulated by a variety of characters in the three movies chosen for the study. It was found that different patterns surface depending on the region, sexes of the speakers, and social classes where they belong. In the case of coda /r/, American English and British English used opposite prestige forms, i.e., in British English /r/-less variable was the prestige form whereas in the American English prestige form /r/ was retained. When the setting of the movie was neither the US nor the UK, as in the movies Mulan and Aladdin, and American English was the norm in the setting, it was noticed that sometimes the British accent in the form of /r/-less variable could be considered as a prestige form. Compared to the /r/-less variable, the variable of /t/ flapping was found to be used in a more flexible way by both American English and British English speakers. The other optional variables such as palatalization, verb+to reduction, and /t/ deletion after /n/ were also noted to be used very freely by all speakers to produce informal styles of speech. However, the informal styles of speech were much more preferred by male speakers than by female speakers. Finally, in the case of ‘-ing’ variable, the stigmatized form /-ɪn/was only used by the soldiers and Mushu in the movie Mulan and also by Genie, the fairy giant of the lamp in the movie Aladdin . This supports Labov's theory that in certain social classes, the stigmatized nonstandard variable may play a role of the covert prestige norm. It is also expected that the results of this study can be used as useful reference when teaching English pronunciation to the learners.
