본 연구에서는 낙동강 수계 8개의 보 구간에서 퇴적물의 변화에 대하여 알아보았다. 보 구간의 퇴적물을 채취하여 유기물, 영양염류, 금속류 항목을 분석하였으며, 시간의 흐름에 따른 변화를 알아보았다. 보를 기준으로 상류부에는 퇴적물이 세립해지거나 세립한 퇴적물이 증가와 감소를 반복하는 것으로 나타났으며, 하류부에서 조립한 퇴적물을 유지하는 것으로 나타났다. 퇴적물의 유기물 및 영양염류는 입도와 강한 상관성을 보이고 있으며, 조립한 상태를 유지하는 지점보다 퇴적물이 세립해지는 지점에서 증가하였다. 유기물과 영양염류의 농도가 증가하는 지점이 있었으나 하천·호소 퇴적물 오염평가 기준의 기준치를 넘는 지점이 없어 유기물, 영양염류에 대하여 오염 정도가 미약한 상태로 보인다. 금속류의 경우 전반적으로 농도가 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며, 입도 및 유기물, 영양염류와 상관성이 미약하였다. 일부 금속이 독성이 나타날 가능성이 있는 II등급에 속하는 지점이 있으나 I등급과 농도 차이가 많지 않으며 대부분의 금속이 I등급을 유지하여 금속류에 대한 오염정도는 미약한 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구결과가 낙동강 수계의 퇴적물 변화를 모두 대표할 수는 없지만 보 구간의 퇴적물 변화 특성을 이해하는 자료로 활용이 가능할 것으로 생각되며, 향후 독성평가를 진행하거나 보 구간에서 입도와 금속류의 분포 및 상관관계에 대한 지속적인 연구가 진행되어야 할 것으로 보인다. This study was carried out to investigated changes in sediments in the eight weir sections of Nakdong River. Sediments were collected and analyzed for Grain Size, Ignition loss, Total Organic Carbon, Total Nitrogen, Total Phosphorus, and Meta. The upstream of the weir was found that fine-grained sediments have repeated increases and decreases. It was found that coarse-grained sediments were being maintained in the downstream part of the weir. The sediments Ignition Loss, Total Organic Carbon, Total Nitrogen, Total Phosphorus are strongly correlated with Grain Size, and these increased at the point where sediments are fine. In the case of metal, the concentration increased across the board, and the correlation with Grain Size, Ignition loss, Total Organic Carbon, Total Nitrogen, and Total Phosphorus was weak. Although there were some sections where fine-grained sediments, organic materials, nutrients, metals increased in the Nakdong River, the overall pollution level is considered weak.

Temporal increase of SS induces concentrations in various forms of organic matter including BOD, COD, TOC. Consequently, it causes hard to identify sources of water pollution during or after precipitation. The objective of this study is to investigate variations of DOC concentration caused by increase of flow and changes of external factors in river by comparing to SS concentration. In results, monitoring sites (e.g., Banbyeonchen) consisting of hard riverbed showed high correlation between SS and organic matters, except BOD. On the contrary, other sites (e.g., Naesungcheon) where riverbed consists of sand were found in a wide range of annual fluctuation in SS level, whereas these sites showed a narrow range in annual DOC fluctuation. In Gumhogang and Namgang, a lower correlation between SS and other factors was found most likely because of high concentration in organic matter. However, lower annual fluctuation values of DOC were observed in comparison to those of COD and TOC. Similar results were also confirmed in main river sites, Sangju and Mulgeum. In conclusion, DOC concentration is better indicator for monitoring organic matter which cannot be provided by BOD, COD, TOC in the Nakdong river basin.
낙동강 중류의 주상퇴적물에서 나타나는 퇴적 구조와 지화학적 특성의 수직적 변화

In this study, we tried to determine the vertical variation of sediment structure and geochemical characteristics, core sediment was collected in the Nakdong River midstream on August, 2014. Core sediment mainly composed of sand (51.48%) and silt (46.21%) and coarsing upward changed from sM to mS facies. IL and TOC were decreased from lower to upper layer. C/N ratio was lower than 10 so the organic matters were originated from underwater creatures and C/S ratio was decreased from lower to upper layer. Heavy metal (Al, Fe, Zn, Cr, Pb, Ni, Cu, Cd) content were decreased from lower to upper layer and seriously polluted condition is not. These results are thought to be due to the effect of natural and anthropogenic in the fluctuation of flow.

Ministry of Environment has been operating water quality monitoring network in order to obtain the basic data for the water environment policies and comprehensively understand the water quality status of public water bodies such as rivers and lakes. The observed water quality data is very important to analyze by applying statistical methods because there are seasonal fluctuations. Typically, monthly water quality data has to analyze that the transition comprise a periodicity since the change has the periodicity according to the change of seasons. In this study, trends, SOM and RDA analysis were performed at the Mulgeum station using water quality data for temperature, BOD, COD, pH, SS, T-N, T-P, Chl-a and Colon-bacterium observed from 1989 to 2013 in the Nakdong River. As a result of trends, SOM and RDA, the Mulgeum station was found that the water quality is improved, but caution is required in order to ensure safe water supply because concentrations in water quality were higher in the early spring(1~3 month) the most.
국소적으로 진행된 침윤성 자궁경부암 Ib 및 Ⅱ기 환자에서 수술전 유도항암화학요법의 역활

Chemotherapy has been traditionally reserved as a last-line treatment for cervical dancer patients because the responses to chemotherapy were low. Recently, higher than expected responses of preoperative adjuvant chemotherapy to locally advanced cervical cancer were reported. This study evaluated the potential value of preoperative chemotherapy to cervical cancer with bulky tumor. The 18 patients (stage Ib and Ⅱ with bulky tumor> 4cm) first received initial chemotherapy of vinblastine, bleomycin, and cis-platinum in a combination regimen (VBP) followed by radical hysterectomy. This therapy induced responses in 13 of the 18 patients (1 complete, 12 partial;overall 73%). The median number of lymph node removed was 29 (range, 17-50). The lower than espected incidence of lymph node metastasis was detected (5/18, 28%). The chemotherapy-induced toxicity was mainly represented by nausea and vomiting and leukopenia. Chemotherapy did not seem to complicate surgery in these circumstances. Median follow-up was 32 months (range, 3-47 months). Two recurrences (11%) appeared and one patient died within 18 months after therapy. Preoperative adjuvant chemotherapy to locally advanced cervical cancer is well tolerated and may be beneficial in the management of patients vical cancer is well tolerated and may be beneficial in the management of patients with cervical cancer who are at high risk for failure with conventional treatment.
