오령산의 고혈압 치료 효과에 대한 체계적 고찰 : 임상 논문을 중심으로

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to review the clinical studies on antihypertensive effects of Oryeong-san. Methods : We searched papers using KTKP, Oasis, CNKI, PubMed, Embase, Science Direct, CINAHL, J STAGE and CiNii, and the key words "Oryeong-san (韓)", "Wuling-san (中)", "Gorei-san (日)", and "Hypertension" were used. Search range included randomized controlled trials (RCTs), clinical reports, reviews and animal experiments. Papers not matched with inclusion criteria were excluded. Results : A total 479 studies were found, with 457 excluded during title and screening. After scanning 22 papers, a final 3 RCTs and 6 case reports were selected and analyzed. In the 3 RCTs, the number of patients varied between 65 and 156. Patients with hypertension were randomized into groups for treatment group and control group. They were all treated with antihypertensive drugs (Vamlodipine Besylate, Benazepril, Perindopril); the treatment group was also given modified Oryeong-san. After treatment, results were that blood pressure was significantly decreased in the treatment group, compared to the control. The other 6 case reports reported that modified Oryeong-san alone or the combination of Oryeong-san plus antihypertensive drugs had beneficial effects on blood pressure. Conclusions : Oryeong-san appears to be effective in improving blood pressure and hypertension-related symptoms. The results of this study could be applied to clinical treatment of hypertension. Further large-scale clinical researches should be conducted.
기존의 경구용 혈당강하제로 혈당조절이 불량한 제2형 당뇨병 환자에 대한 한양방 병용 치료 1례

This study presents a case of add-on traditional Korean medical treatments in a 77-year-old male patient with uncontrolled type 2 diabetes mellitus with conventional oral hypoglycemic agents. Chief complaints were uncontrolled glucose level and weight loss. The patient was treated with electroacupuncture (on ST36, CV4, and CV12), herbal medication, and lifestyle advice. The conventional oral hypoglycemic medications were maintained. After 12 weeks, the glycated hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) decreased from 11.0% to 8.4%. There were significant abnormalities in the liver function and renal function tests, but no adverse event was reported. Further studies are needed to confirm the findings of this case.

In this study, yogurt containing immature Citrus unshiu juice (ICJ) at 0, 1, 5, and 10% ratio was prepared to measure the antioxidant activity and physicochemical quality characteristics of the yogurt. In addition, the changes in the pH, titratable acidity and changes in sugar content of the immature Citrus unshiu yogurt were measured while being stored at room temperature for 3 days. Overall, the pH exhibited the tended of decreasing as time passed. As the amount of ICJ added increased, the pH of yogurt showed a tendency to decrease, and on the third day of storage, the yogurt with 10% ICJ added a significantly lower pH than the control group(p<0.05). The titratable of immature Citrus unshiu yogurt showed significantly higher values on the third day of storage compared to the zero day of storage(p<0.05). The sugar content of immature Citrus unshiu yogurt did not show any significant difference regardless of the amount of ICJ added and storage period(p>0.05). In the case of viscosity, compared to the control group and yogurt added with 1% of ICJ, a significantly lower value was observed in the yogurt with 10% addition(p<0.05). The total polyphenol contents and DPPH radical scavenging activity were increased according to the amount of ICJ added.

Students must be familiar with clinical skills before starting clinical practice to ensure patients' safety and enable efficient learning. However, performance is mainly tested in the third or fourth years of medical school, and studies using the validity framework have not been reported in Korea. We analyzed the validity of a performance test conducted among second-year students classified into content, response process, internal structure, relationships with other variables, and consequences according to Messick's framework. As results of the analysis, content validity was secured by developing cases according to a pre-determined blueprint. The quality of the response process was controlled by training and calibrating raters. The internal structure showed that (1) reliability by generalizability theory was acceptable (coefficients of 0.724 and 0.786, respectively, for day 1 and day 2), and (2) the relevant domains had proper correlations, while the clinical performance examination (CPX) and objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) showed weaker relationships. OSCE/CPX scores were correlated with other variables, especially grade point average and oral structured exam scores. The consequences of this assessment were (1) making students learn clinical skills and study themselves, while causing too much stress for students due to lack of motivation; (2) reminding educators of the need to apply practical teaching methods and to give feedback on the test results; and (3) providing an opportunity for faculty to consider developing support programs. It is necessary to develop the blueprint more precisely according to students' level and to verify the validity of the response process with statistical methods.

지류문화재는 물리적, 화학적, 생물학적 인자의 영향을 받아 다양한 노화 양상을 보이고 있다. 노화 종이의 열화를 억제하기 위해 국내외 여러 기관에서는 다양한 방법으로 보강 처리를 진행하고 있다. 그러나 추후 보강된 종이를 재처리하거나 보존성이 더 우수한 신규 방법으로 처리하고자 할 때 이미 가해진 보강제는 적절한 방법으로 용이하게 제거되어야 한다. 즉, 보강처리 및 보강제의 선택에 있어 본래의 상태로 되돌하가는 정도 즉, 가역성(reversibility)는 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 셀룰로오스 유도체를 이용하여 종이를 화학적 보강처리하고, 이의 가역성을 평가하고자 하였다. 죽지 종이에 메틸셀룰로오스를 침지법으로 보강 처리하였으며, 일정시간 물 속에 담그는 방식으로 보강제의 제거한 후 제거 정도를 여액의 COD와 종이의 인장강도 측정을 통해 평가하였다.
