國民學校 兒童의 口腔保健 實態調査 : Part of primary school children in Daegu City

In order to obtain the information for improving the dental health, the author questionaired 600 studnets of the primary school children in the Deagu. Thereafter, the rates of persons with dental pain, masticatory problems phonetic problems and esthetic problems had been analysed and discussed. The obtained results were as follows : 1. The rate of the persons who had experienced dental pain and deep dental pain was 72.3% and 17.3%. 2. The rate of the persons who had experienced impediment in mastication due to tooth and the rate of the persons who had impediment in mastication due to tooth were 50.0% and 11.2%. On the other hand, the rate of the persons who had experienced impediment in mastication due to other oral disease were 41.5% and 9.2%. 3. The rate of the persons who had experienced impediment in pronounciation and rate of persons who had impediment in pronounciation during interview were 14.3% and 6.5%. 4. The rate of the persons who had experienced impediment in esthetics and the rate of the persons who had dimpediment in esthetics during interview were 20.8% and 43.2%.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate for the presence of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD)-related symptoms, anxiety, and depression after stroke. Eighty-four patients were enrolled between 2 and 12 months after their first ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke. Methods: PTSD symptoms were evaluated using the Impact of Event Scale (IES). The IES is a 15-item scale measuring intrusion and avoidance symptoms. The authors assessed mood alterations using the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HAD). The HAD is a brief, 14-item, self-reported questionnaire used to detect symptoms of anxiety (HADA) and depression (HADD). The survey data were analyzed using the SPSS 10.0 program. Frequency, mean, standard deviation, percentage t-test, and Pearson correlation coefficient were determined. Results: Twenty nine of the 84 (34.5%) patients scored higher than the cutoff for PTSD on the IES (IES>26). With use of the HAD scale, 44% of the patients reached the cutoff for anxiety ($HADA\;{\geq}8$). On the HSD scale, 44.1% of the patients reached the cutoff for depression ($HADD\;{\geq}8$). PTSD symptoms and anxiety were more frequent in women under age 39, without spouses, who had operations. Depression was more frequent in patients without spouses. There was a statistically significant correlation among posttraumatic stress symptoms, anxiety, and depression. Conclusion: There was statistically significant correlation among PTSD symptoms, anxiety, and depression in stroke patients. Therefore, it is necessary to develop nursing intervention for stroke patients with these clinical manifestations.

본 연구에서는 인구고령화 사회에 따른 노인들의 사회에서 배제되고 가족으로부터 소외되어 쓸쓸한 노년을 보내게 됨에 따라 매해 자살하는 노인의 수가 증가하고 있다. 특히 노인들은 신체적·정서적·경제적 문제를 가지고 있으며 이는 개인의 문제를 넘어 현대사회와 국가적 대책이 필요한 문제로 인식하고 이를 위한 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 통계청과 보건복지부 등의 통계자료 분석 및 연구논문 및 학위논문과 간행물을 문헌연구를 통하여 실증연구를 병행하였다. 그 결과 노인문제의 방안을 위해 첫 번째로는 취약한 노인복지 예산이나 인력으로는 날로 증가하는 노인들의 서비스 욕구를 보완하기 위한 민간차원의 자원봉사활동이 절실히 요구되고 있다. 두 번째로는 노인의 교육을 통해 노년기의 적응과 변화를 적극적으로 대응하고 더 불어 살기 위한 새로운 노인의 사회적 역할부여와 긍정적 사회자본으로 활용될 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 그래서 본 연구의 결과를 통해 노인복지의 실천방안으로 제안하고자 한다. In this study, the number of elderly people who commit suicide every year is increasing as they are excluded from the society of the elderly due to the aging population and are alienated from their families. In particular, the elderly have physical, emotional, and economic problems and need help from others. To this end, statistical data analysis by the National Statistical Office and the Ministry of Health and Welfare and research papers, degree papers, and publications were conducted in parallel through literature research to achieve the purpose of this study on the elderly in modern society. With the weak welfare budget or manpower for the elderly, volunteer activities at the private level are urgently required to supplement the increasing service needs of the elderly. In addition, through the education of the elderly, we want to actively respond to adaptation and changes in old age and find ways to give new elderly social roles and be used as positive social capital to live together. Therefore, through the results of this study, I would like to propose it as an action plan for the welfare of the elderly

This study has collected 322 clinical dental hygienists working in Daegu and around Daegu, in order to investigate perceived value of work among dental hygienists and extent of organizational attitude and find relationship between these, and we can finds these conclusions as follows; 1. The total average point of perceived value of work is 3.36(5 is a full mark), and we could gain each points as follows; vision realizability 3.53, process efficiency 3.42, product usefulness 3.32, job significance 3.31, social recognition 3.23. 2. The total average point of organizational attitude is 3.13, and job satisfaction, organizational commitment are 3.14, 3.12 respectively. 3. Variables of perceived value of work related job satisfaction are social recognition, vision realizability, process efficiency,(Social recognition is the most effective variable, and next vision realizability, process efficiency are effective in the order named.)(R2=.24) and we could find that job satisfaction is proportion to perceived value of work, according to relationship of these variables. Variables of perceived value of work related to organizational commitment are also vision realizability, social recognition, process efficiency,(Vision realizability is the most effective variable, and next social recognition, process efficiency are effective in the order named.)(R2=.32) and we could find that organizational commitment is proportion to perceived value of work, according to relationship of these variables. According to these result, perceived value of work and organization attitude(job satisfaction, organizational commitment) of dental hygienists are affirmative. but to make their attitudes be more affirmative, the research about improving perceived value of work is needed. Especially, vision realizability and social satisfaction are very important variables at perceived value of work of dental hygienists.
임상치과위생사들의 일가치감 및 그 결정요인에 관한 연구

This study, to investigate the state of PVW among the clinical dental hygienists and its determinants, has polled 322 clinical dental hygienists working in Daegu, Kyung buk province, and Ulsan. Data were collected by self-administrated questionnaire. A SPSS 12.0 for Windows was used for statistical analysis. The obtained results were as follows: 1. The average of PVW among the respondents was 3.43. 2. The area average of PVW determinants was as follows: job significance, 3.31, process efficiency, 3.42, product usefulness, 3.32, vision realizability, 3.53, social recognition, 3.23 and the total average, 3.36. 3. The married have higher PVW than the unmarried in all areas(p=.012, p=.008, p=.036, p=.007). 4. As for working experience, in the case of perceived self value, those having 1-2 years experience have the highest PVW(p=.000), apart from perceived self value, those having over 6 years experience have the highest PVW in all areas(p=.015, p=.001, p=.002). Relating to the task, those working in the patient consulting and managing part have the highest PVW, relating to the annual salary, those having over 25 million won have the highest PVW (p=.000, p=.000, p=.001, p=.000). 5. The relationship between PVW and PVW determinants, in all respects, is meaningful, so it was found that the higher determinants are, the higher PVW is. 6. The whole explanation variate of PVW determinants was meaningful in PVW, perceived self value, value fulfillment emotion, respectively representing 38.8%, 55.6%, 61.5% (pE.001). PVW of clinical dental hygienists should be considered as a significant criterion of indivisual and organizational effectiveness. To improve effectually PVW of the clinical dental hygienists, there is need to establish culture in a system of hospital that redound to their social recognition.
