입.출구의 압력조건에 따른 보텍스 튜브의 에너지분리 특성에 관한 실험적 고찰

The experimental investigation on energy separation in a vortex tube has been carried out to sow the effect of inlet and outlet pressures with various working fluids(air,$O_2,\;and\; CO_2$). Those outlet pressure means cold outlet and hot outlet pressure which were set equally. The results showed that the total enthalpy variation became a maximum when the mass flow rate at the cold outlet was a half of the total mass flow rate in the vortex tube (y=0.5). The total enthalpy variation was quite affected by the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of vortex tube when the ratio of the inlet pressure to the cold outlet pressure remained constant. Although specific enthalpy differences between the inlet and the outlet (both cold and hot outlet) did not noticeably vary with the pressure difference, the specific enthalpy difference between the inlet and cold outlet was dominantly affected by physical properties of working gases.

The purpose of this research is surveying into the present situation of industrial technology of Taegu city in the standpoint of the regional economics. This research made use of the predesigned questionaire resulted from the consultation by the experts on the regional economics. From the results of this research it is found that the mechanical and metal industry has emerged as the actual key industry of this region but could not complement its recession so enough that the economy of this region has shrunken relative to other metropolitan cities. Also it is found that Taegu region has been confronted with very serious lagging technology of this industry. As a conclusion, this study suggests several policy alternatives and strategies for this industry. First, in order to build the infrastructure for technology development and co-research, a policy for inducing the investment for research and development and the co-operation system among the subjects of R&D should be made. Second, this study suggested several strategic technologies for mechanic and metalic industry and established a plan to assist this industry. Third, this study made a strategy for advancing the concerned technology and suggested that a special committee for implementing this strategy would be organized. Fourth, this study suggested that a technology center for supporting the concerned firms in this region would be built in order to solve problems of this industry, i.e. the poor ability of developing technology.

Energy separation characteristic occurring in a counterflow vortex tube was studied experimentally, where air, $C_2$, and R22 were used as working fluids. The experiments were carried out with pressure ratio from 3 to 8 and cold mass fraction(y) from 0.1 to 0.9. As results, Ranque-Hilsch effect showed different results from adiabatic expansion process. Temperature difference in vortex tube outlet was affected by Joule-Thomson effect as well as Ranque-Hilsch effect. The more effective the energy separation was, the more increased the entropy in the cold oulet of vortex tube was.
하향유동 영역에서 경사 등온평면에 의하여 야기된 정상상태 자연대류의 다중해

본 연구에서는 하향유동영역에서 수직면으로부터 경사각이 60˚ 이하인 경사 등온면이 저온의 물속에 잠겨 있을때 일어나는 다중정상상태 영역을 밝혀내고, 이 영 역에서 경사각이 열전달, 온도분포, 속도분포, 부력분포 및 누셀트 수에 미치는 영향 을 구명하였다. 또 해석방법은 이제까지 발표된 연구결과와 비교검토하기 위하여 기 존 논문에서와 같이 상이해석을 사용하였다.

Heat sink has extended surface area for enhanced heat transfer. The enhanced convection heat transfer has been used widely, such as cooling electronic chips in the electronics industry. Heat sink usually requires an increase in the heat transfer and a decrease in the pressure drop, and must improve the performance in the flow field of industrial plants. In this study, wing fin heat sink was studied and tests were conducted in a rectangular cross sectional channel with wing fin heat sinks. The leading and trailing ends of a wing fin have a sharp edge, simulating the airfoil feature. Empirical correlations have been developed for wing fin heat sink types. And wing fin heat sinks have better cooling performance than elliptic fin and square fin types.
