현금흐름 뉴스와 할인율 뉴스 상황에 따른 모멘텀 수익성에 관한 연구

본 논문은 일본 주식시장을 대상으로 하여 모멘텀 현상이 나타나는지를 분석하였다. 특히, 현금흐름 뉴스와 할인율 뉴스 상황에서 모멘텀 전략의 수익성을 비교하였다. 추가로 시장 상승기때 모멘텀 현상이 더 강하게 나타나는지를 확인하였다. 실증분석 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일본 주식시장에서는 모멘텀 수익성이 약하게 나타났다. 둘째, 현금흐름 뉴스와 할인율 뉴스 상황에 따른 모멘텀 수익률을 분석한 결과, Celiker et al.(2016)의 결과와 반대로 현금흐름 뉴스보다 할인율 뉴스 상황 하에서 모멘텀 효과가 더 강하게 나타났다. 미국과 달리 일본의 경우대부분 기업들이 불안정한 배당정책을 실시하고 집중화된 소유권 구조를 가지고 있으며 부채 비율도 높다. 이에 일본 주식시장에서 투자자들은 오히려 할인율 뉴스에 더 민감할 수 있고 할인율 뉴스 상황 하에서 모멘텀 현상이 더 강하게 나타날 수 있다. 셋째, 전체 시장이 상승기일 때모멘텀 전략의 수익성이 더 높게 나타나 Cooper, Gutierrez, Hameed(2004)의 연구 결과를 지지한다. 즉, 시장 상승기 때에 투자자들은 과대 확신하는 경향이 보이며, 이로 인해 모멘텀 수익률을발생시킨다는 것이다.

Nowadays, human beings are facing a new innovative wave, the so called information revolution caused by the technological integration of telecommunications and computers. The marriage of these two technologies is creating new possibilities for human civilization. As the Industrial Revolution, induced by the invention of the steam engine, transformed the agricultural society into an industrial society in England at the end of the 18th century, the information revolution of the 20th century is changing this industrial society into a new society; i.e., the information society. We can identify some characteristics of the information society as follows. First, the value of information and services is more important than that of raw material and energy in the information society. Second, professionals, technocrats and scientists increase in numbers of occupational distribution. Third, the telecommunication network can slow the mass consumption of materials and energy and we will be able to protect the natural environment from all kinds of pollutants which are the byproducts of industrialization. Fourth, the industries of service and information are growing rapidly and the process of becoming soft is accelerating domestically and internationally at a high speed. As a result of this trend, the Korean Government has recognized the importance of information. It has set up two goals for telecommunication policy; i.e., the completion of subscriber direct dialling and the elimination of delayed installation of telephones. It has also invested more than 3% of common carrier's revenue on the Research and Development since the early 1980's. Under this policy, we passed the ten million mark for telephone lines and completed the nationwide subscriber dialling system in. September, 1987. Now, Korea holds the second position in Asia and 10th in the world for telephone subscribers lines, and has become one of the advanced countries in the telecommunication area is fact as well as is name. Our government will fully utilize this success in the telecommunication area and will follow four guidelines for the future information society. -Developmeilt of new technology for the completion of Integrate' Service Digital Network. -Supply of diverse services for the age of `1 home, 1 terminal'. -Reorganization of education curricula to cope with the rapid' change of environments. -promotion of international cooperation for one world telecommunication system. The progress to the information society must aiter both our home and working place, More than anything else, Home Automation enables people to work at the home exactly like at any working place, and will expand the job opportunities of housewives Who have to take care of home affairs. Office Automation will emancipate workers from many repetitive routines and will make them work more efficiently. Factory Automation will increase productivity and change dangerous and dirty working places into more safe and delightful environments. Store Automation makes marketing management more efficient and rational and stores can give customers more excellent services. All these processes will guide all mankind into the Credit Society - cashless transactions, dissolution of the regional and seasonal information gap and rationalization of the distribution path and will maximize individual satisfaction. In the information society, enormous changes in role-taking between the sexes are expected and female roles, in particular. will expand more and more. Women will have to make the most of their spare time by breaking of their image as housewives sticking to the household and transforming themselves into people who work in various social fields vitally. In addition, working places will need mental labors more than muscular labors. and females may be superior to males in the fields of mental activities. to say- nothing of equal rights of both sexes. Incidentally, what is most necessary to strengthening the status of women is information literacy; that is, the ability to produce new knowledge by understanding and utilizing new civilization factors. Women must modify their point of view toward information and must learn how to collect, classify, store analyze, distribute and, use the necessary informations. It is indispensible for them. to have the capabilities to manipulate the various kinds of computers in the information society Additionally mothers are the most influential factor in their children's education and must encourage their children to use computers to cultivate information literacy from childhood This. of course, is also applicable to other information media: for example. telephones radios TV's and newspapers. and periodicals, as well as computer. In the information society however everything is scientifically arranged and analyzed from A to Z. Thus emotional factors may be ignored and the danger of isolation and nonhumanity could developed in the extreme case. Accumulation of stress by information overload and unemployment incurred by automation may- cause many critical problems in the future. In conclusion, for salving all these problems and constructing a welfare society , based on humanity the efforts which spring from a mothers love of the daughters of Eve will be even more desired with the technological progress.
