Caballeronia sordidicola 균주 PAMC 26510은 남극 킹조지섬의 바톤반도에서 채집된 지의류인 Psoroma sp.에서 분리되었다. 균주 PAMC 26510의 초안 유전체 서열은 224개의 콘티그로 이루어졌으며, 총 7,872,143 염기쌍은 59.7% G+C 함량을 나타냈다. 유전체는 7,580개의 단백질 유전자, 6개의 rRNA 유전자와 46개의 tRNA 유전자를 포함하였다. 균주 PAMC 26510는 이전에 연구한 Caballeronia sordidicola에 속하는 북극 균주와 마찬가지로 대사능력에 있어서 광범위한 능력을 가지고 있는 것으로 여겨진다. PAMC 26510의 초안 유전체는 6개의 CRISPR arrays를 각각의 콘티그 상에 가지고 있으며, 이중 두 개의 콘티그 상에 CRISPR-관련 유전자가 연결되어 있었다. Caballeronia sordidicola strain PAMC 26510 was isolated from Psoroma sp., a lichen material, collected from Barton Peninsula of King George Island in Antarctica. The draft genome sequence of PAMC 26510 consisted of 224 contigs and they was 7,872,143 base pairs with 59.7% G+C content. The genome included 7,580 protein coding sequences and 6 ribosomal RNA genes and 46 tRNA genes. The strain PAMC 26510 is also a metabolic generalist as we have observed in previous genomic studies in the arctic strain of Caballeronia sordidicola. The draft genomic sequences of PAMC 26510 had six CRISPR arrays on six contigs, and there were two clusters of CRISPR-associated genes that were linked with respective CRISPR arrays.

Here we report the comparative genomic analysis of strain UJ101 with 15 strains from the family Flavobacteriaceae, using the CGExplorer program. Flavobacteriales bacterium strain UJ101 was isolated from a xanthid crab, Atergatis reticulatus, from the East Sea near Korea. The complete genome of strain UJ101 is a 3,074,209 bp, single, circular chromosome with 30.74% GC content. While the UJ101 genome contains a number of annotated genes for many metabolic pathways, such as the Embden–Meyerhof pathway, the pentose phosphate pathway, the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle, and the glyoxylate cycle, genes for the Entner-Douddoroff pathway are not found in the UJ101 genome. Overall, carbon fixation processes were absent but nitrate reduction and denitrification pathways were conserved. The UJ101 genome was compared to genomes from other marine animals (three invertebrate strains and 5 fish strains) and other marine animal- derived genera. Notable results by genome comparisons showed that UJ101 is capable of denitrification and nitrate reduction, and that biotin-thiamine pathway participation varies among marine bacteria; fish-dwelling bacteria, freeliving bacteria, invertebrate-dwelling bacteria, and strain UJ101. Pan-genome analysis of the 16 strains in this study included 7,220 non-redundant genes that covered 62% of the pan-genome. A core-genome of 994 genes was present and consisted of 8% of the genes from the pan-genome. Strain UJ101 is a symbiotic hetero-organotroph isolated from xanthid crab, and is a metabolic generalist with nitrate-reducing abilities but without the ability to synthesize biotin. There is a general tendency of UJ101 and some fish pathogens to prefer thiamine-dependent glycolysis to gluconeogenesis. Biotin and thiamine auxotrophy or prototrophy may be used as important markers in microbial community studies.

Caballeronia sordidicola 균주 PAMC 26577은 다산 기지 근처에서 채집된 지의류인 Cladonia 종에서 분리되었다. Illumina 방식으로 분석한 균주 PAMC 26577의 초안 유전체 서열은 182개의 콘티그로 이루어졌으며, N50값은 159,226 염기쌍 길이에 해당하였다. 초안 유전체로 총 8,334,211 염기쌍을 확인하였으며, 59.4% G+C 함량을 나타냈다. 유전체는 단백질을 코드하지 않는 8개의 rRNA 유전자와 51개의 tRNA 유전자를 포함하였다. 8,065개의 단백질 유전자는 기본 대사 과정뿐 아니라 부탄올/부티르산 생합성, 폴리하이드록시부티르산 대사, serine cycle methylotrophy 및 글라이코겐 대사 유전자들을 가지고 있었다. 2백개 이상의 막 전달 단백질은, 인산화 전달 시스템과 TRAP 전달시스템이 부재하였다. PAMC 26577은 CRISPR 관련 서열 및 단백질이 없었으며, 파아지 유전자의 감염흔적으로 인한 11개의 파아지 관련 유전자를 찾아낼 수 있었다. Caballeronia sordidicola strain PAMC 26577 was isolated from Cladonia sp., a lichen collected from Svalbard Archipelago in the Arctic Ocean. Draft genomic sequences of PAMC 26577 were determined using Illumina and 182 contigs were submitted to GenBank and N50 value was 159,226. The genome of PAMC 26577 was comprised of 8,334,211 base pairs and %G+C content was 59.4. The genome included 8 ribosomal RNA genes and 51 tRNA genes as non-coding sequences. Protein-coding genes were 8,065 in number and they included central metabolism genes as well as butanol/butyrate biosynthesis, polyhydroxybutyrate metabolism, serine cycle methylotrophy genes, and glycogen metabolism. Membrane transporters were more than two-hundreds in number, but sugar phosphotransferase system and TRAP transporters were lacking. PAMC 26577 lacked CRISPR-associated sequences and proteins. No transposable elements were observed and there were only limited number of phage remnant regions with 11 phage-related genes.

Vision-based emotion recognition usually focused on the facial expressions of the humans in the video. However, relying only upon facial information incurs a loss of context information i.e., only looks at the local information rather than comprehensive information in the series of scenes. This in turn seriously diminishes the likelihood of accuracy in emotion recognition. In this paper, we suggest a novel means to this end, automatic labelling method using cross-modal information which results in text (script of the video in this case) based emotion recognition supervised the video sequences for video-based emotion recognition. A preliminary experimental result demonstrates that emotion recognition using the script of the video outperforms video-based one only using facial features on a multi-modal dataset. It supports that the scripts in the series of the scenes may contain richer context information than that of the facial features thus have higher potential to improve the performance of the emotion recognition system in due course.
