As a trend of construction has become high-rise and larger, it is necessary to reduce the self-weight of structures and buildings. One of the alternative plans to reduce the self-weight of structures and buildings is to use the lightweight aggregate concrete. In this study, experiments to make the moderate mixing proportion of polymer modified lightweight concrete were performed. As a hardened concrete test, the resistance of freezing and thawing was performed and investigated.
유한요소해석을 통한 선재의 표면 흠이 차량용 엔진 밸브 스프링 수명에 미치는 영향 평가

Recently, the high surface quality of oil hardened and tempered spring steel wire for valve springs with high fatigue strength has been required for the fuel economy of automobile engines. The aim of this study is to investigate the fatigue life of advance high strength steel(AHSS) springs according to surface flaws of oil hardened and tempered spring steel wire. V-shape surface defects were introduced in the initial workpiece and the evolution of deformation behavior and stress distribution such defects was simulated during the manufacturing spring, The FE-simulations were performed to check the local stress distributions around surface flaws using an AHSS spring, which are determined by analysis results of cold coiling and measured residual stresses. The fatigue lives were predicted in comparison with S-N curves and calculated alternating stress.
Hole 클린칭을 이용한 고장력강판과 Al6061 이종소재의 접합

일반적인 클린칭 접합공정에서 고장력강과 알루미늄의 이종소재간의 접합시 고장력강의 낮은 연신율과 높은 강도로 인해 클린칭 접합시 파단이 발생하거나 높은 클린칭 접합하중이 요구된다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 연구에서는 클린칭 접합시 고장력강의 변형없이 알루미늄의 변형만을 이용한 홀 클린칭 접합공정을 개발하였다. 고장력강에 홀가공을 적용하여 고장력강의 변형을 배제하였다. 홀 클린칭 접합의 요구접합강도를 기초로 클린칭 접합의 기하학적 구속량을 결정하였으며, 홀 클린칭 금형의 형상은 성형체적 일정조건을 이용하여 설계하였다. 설계된 클린칭 접합공정의 유효성을 평가하기 위해 유한요소해석을 수행하여, 홀 클린칭 접합이 가능함을 확인하였다. 또한 홀 클린칭 접합의 접합강도는 인장전단시험을 통하여 평가하였다. 홀 클린칭 접합강도는 2.56kN 으로 요구접합강도와 비교하여 동등수준 이상의 값을 가짐을 확인하였다. The joining of aluminum and HSS (high- strength steel) by the conventional clinching process is limited by the low formability of HSS. Defects in the clinching joint, such as necking of the upper sheet, cracks, and lack of interlocking, are produced by the different ductility properties of HSS and aluminum. In this study, we propose the hole clinching process for joining Al6061 and SPFC440, in which deformation of SPFC440 is avoided by drilling a hole in the SPFC440. The dimensions of the interlocking in the hole- clinched joint necessary to provide the required joint strength were determined. Based on the volume constant of the hole clinching process, the shapes of the tools were designed by finite element (FE)- analysis. A hole clinching experiment was performed to verify the proposed process. A cross -section of the joint showed good agreement with the results of the FE- analysis. The lap shear strength was found to be 2.56 kN, which is higher than required joint strength.

합성부재의 설계에 있어서 콘크리와 강재의 일체화된 거동은 매우 중요하게 고려되며, 효과적인 합성작용을 위해 전단 스터드가 가장 보편적으로 사용되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 고강도 콘크리트에서의 전단 스터드 내력 산정식을 제안하고, 이를 기존의 규준식 및 제안식과 비교 분석하여 그 유효성을 평가하는 것이다. 전단 스터드의 지름, 전단 스터드의 지름 대 높이의 비(H/d ratio)를 변수로 한 강관매입형 합성부재의 실험결과를 토대로 회귀분석을 수행하여 전단 스터드 내력 산정식을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 내력 산정식을 기존 연구식들과 비교한 결과, KBC2009와 정회용등의 제안식이 실험값에 대하여 각각 48.78%, 28.03%의 큰 오차를 보이며 고강도 콘크리트의 전단 스터드 내력을 정확하게 평가하지 못하는 것으로 나타났으나, 본 연구의 제안식은 실험값과 약 3.69% 정도의 근소한 오차를 보이며 고강도 콘크리트가 사용된 합성부재의 전단 스터드 내력을 비교적 정확하게 평가하는 것으로 나타났다. For design of composite concrete members, the behavior between two materials; concrete and steel is considered significantly. And shear studs are generally used for effective composite action. The purpose of this paper are to propose an equation of strength of shear stud embedded in high strength concrete, and to evaluate the validity by comparing with the current design codes and existing proposed equations. The equation was proposed by regression analysis based on the test results of steel pipe encased composite members manufactured by considering diameter of shear stud and ratio of diameter to height of shear stud as variables. The comparisons of the test results with the design codes and existing proposed equations showed that KBC2009 and the equation of Cheong et al. have big error; 48.78% and 28.03%. And the equation proposed in this paper indicate relatively smaller error of 3.69%. It indicated that the proposed equation has higher accuracy for calculating the strength of shear stud embedded in high strength concrete.
SBR Latex를 이용한 폴리머 개질 경량콘크리트의 특성에 관한 실험적 연구

One of the most effective methods to reduce the self-weight of structures and buildings is to use the lightweight aggregate concrete. To complement the strength of the lightweight aggregate concrete, polymer was added to concrete's mixing. In this study, experiments to make the moderate mixing proportion of polymer modified lightweight concrete were performed. Also the hardened concrete tests were performed to investigate the physical characteristics of the polymer-modified lightweight aggregate concrete. As a result, the flexural strength was increased by a small quantity of SBR Latex. Based on the test results the estimating equation was proposed through the regression analysis. 건축물이 고층화 및 대형화 되어감에 따라 구조물 및 빌딩의 자중을 줄이는 것은 반드시 필요하게 되는데, 이러한 구조물 의 자중을 줄이기 위한 가장 효과적인 방법 중 하나는 경량콘크리트를 사용하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 경량콘크리트의 단점인 강도를 보완하기 위하여 폴리머를 첨가하였으며, 폴리머 개질 경량콘크리트의 적절한 배합비율을 도출하기 위한 실험을 수행하였다. 또한 경화콘크리트 시험을 통하여 폴리머 개질 경량콘크리트의 물리적 특성을 고찰하였다. 그 결과 소량의 폴리머 첨가로도 휨강도가 증가하였으며, 실험결과를 바탕으로 회귀분석을 통한 압축강도 추정식을 제시하였다.
랫드와 비글에서 GC-100X 세정제의 독성에 대한 연구

Because cleaning products are part of our everyday lives, it is essential that they should not present significant risks to health. However, many petrochemicals in most soaps and detergents can be absorbed through the scalp and skin and, over time, accumulate in the organs and tissues. This accumulation may result in brain, nerve, and liver damage. Therefore, it is interested in developing non-harmful detergent. According to Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology, GC-100X may be non-harmful and non-corrosive alkaline ionic water (pH 12). It is composed of hydroxyl radicals and supplemented with xylitol. To evaluate influence of GC-100X on rats and beagles, GC-100X was diluted with distilled water (25%, 50%, and 100% solution respectively). Each of diluted GC-100X was daily treated per oral. In body weight analysis, urinary analysis, ophthalmological test and autopsy, we did not find any significance, but in serum biochemical analysis and hematological analysis, we found some significances in middle dose group compared with control group. These significances in serum biochemical analysis and hematological analysis may be not induced by GC-100X, because it was not found to be significant from control group in histopathological examination. Thus, it is concluded that NOEL(No Observed Effect Level) of GC-100X may be higher than all treatment doses used in this study, and GC-100X may be a non-toxic detergent.
비특이 면역증강제 BARODON<sup>ⓡ</sup>의 항원성시험

The antigenicity of nonspecific immunostimulator BARODON$^{(R)}$, a newly developed drug, was investigated by tests for passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) and active systemic anaphylaxis (ASA) in mice and guinea pigs. In ASA test using guinea pigs, there were no significant clinical symptoms in all individuals of low(0.3%) and high(3%) dose of both groups treated with only BARODON$^{(R)}$ and cotreated with BARODON$^{(R)}$ and adjuvant group. In PCA test, blue spots of Evan's were observed from $2^6$ to $2^{10}$ in homologous group and from $2^2{\sim}2^5$ dilution rate in heterologous group of BSA treated positive control group. However, intradermal sensitization with antiserum obtained from low (0.3%) and high (3%) dose of BARODON$^{(R)}$ only treatment group and treated-with-adjuvant group, followed by intravenous injection of respective antigen and Evan's blue mixture (1:1) showed no blue spot observed. In conclusion, BARODON$^{(R)}$, as showed in ASA and PCA test, did not cause anaphylatic shock when treated 3 and 10 times higher than clinically intended dose, nor induce IgE, so that might not have antigenic properties in mice and guinea pigs.
