Higher plants can be valuable genetic assay systems for monitoring environmental pollutants and evaluating their biological toxicity. Two assays are considered ideal for in situ monitoring and testing of soil, airborne and aqueous mutagenic agents; the Tradescantia stamen hair assay for somatic cell mutations and the Tradescantia micronucleus assay for chromosome aberrations. Both assays can be used for in vivo and in vitro testing of mutagens. Since higher plant systems are now recognized as excellent indicators and have unique advantages over in situ monitoring and screening, higher plant systems could be accepted by regulatory authorities as an alternative first-tier assay system for the detection of possible genetic damages resulting from the pollutants or chemicals used and produced by industrial sectors. It has been concluded that potential mutagen and carcinogen such as the heavy metals among indoor air particulates, volatile compounds in the working places, soil, and water pollutants contribute to the overall health risk. This contribution can be considerable under certain circumstances. It is therefore important to identify the level of genotoxic activity in the environment and to relate it to the biomarkers of a health risk in humans. The results from the higher plant bioassays could make a significant contribution to assessing the risks of pollutants and protecting the public from agents that can cause mutation and/or cancer. The plant bioassays, which are relatively inexpensive and easy to handle, are recommended for the scientists who are interested in monitoring pollutants and evaluating their environmental toxicity to living organisms.

The purpose of the study is to derive the problems and characteristics on channel of pig shipping by farm in Cheorwon Region that has 40% of pig feeding in Kangwon Province. Farmsurvey and interview with men of affairs were carried out for the study. As the result, individual farm shipping has more income among shipping channel in Cheorwon Region. In order to manage pig farmto developmore through creation of stable income and exchange the various andmuch information, corporate body shipping, namely pig brand project, is needed. Although the pig farmers intended joining the project positively, they avoid joining the brand project because there is a problemto decide feed farm. Cheorwon Region should invest to guide various education programs for technology developing and provide fiscal aid.

Ⅰ. 서론 The purpose of the study is to seek plans of marketing revitalization for Hi-lok Hanwoo. Special counter for the Hi-lok Hanwoo brand meat has various plans for management according to approaching purpose. Thus, it is needed to set clear concepts for management of the counter. The Hi-lok Hanwoo brand sells the Hanwoo meat at special counters for the Hi-lok in Garakdong Livestock Joing Market and Hanaro Mart in agricultural cooperative. The function and role for the counter is very important to increase return at the special counters and restaurants for the Hi-lok Hanwoo brand meat.First, sales products and concept are headed for family restaurant that has lower prices and family menu. Second, marketing strategies are needed to make new customers. The consumers for Hanwoo boolgogi are very limited in eating out market at the present. The consumers must be varied to young college students, workers, and middle and old ages. Third, farmers of the Hi-lok Hanwoo and owners of the Hanwoo restaurant take the role to sale the Hanwoo meat. The farmer has difficulties to approach to the consumers who live in metropolitan. It limits the farmer role as suppliers. In order to increase farmer’s return the farmers must supply various food materials. Forth, the business purpose should be as follows. Restaurant that has a theme of Hanwoo boolgogi should be established. The restaurant develops various menus to increase value added using non-preferred part of Hi-lok Hanwoo, and analyzes consumer’s response through tasting. Commercial area should be analyzed to open the Hanwoo restaurants at zones that have huge floating population in Chunchon.
