Tracing of 99mTc Showed the Location and Direction of Meridian Line

Investigation of meridian line and acupoints should be very important, as acupuncture and meridian massage for medical purpose in the hospital or for skin care in beauty shop are all based on traditional meridian theory. Radioactive technetium-99m pertechnetate (99mTc) injected to a specific acupoint flowed upward along the meridian line as was suggested by traditional meridian theory. Tracing of injected 99mTc to an acupoint revealed that the meridian is a unique ductal system through which the materials flow.
Ultrastructure of the fertilized egg envelope from Melanotaenia praecox, Melanotaeniidae, Teleostei

We examined the morphology of fertilized egg and ultrastructures of fertilized egg envelopes of dwarf rainbowfish ( Melanotaenia praecox ) belong to Melanotaeniidae using light and electron microscopes. The fertilized eggs were spherical with adhesive filament, transparent, demersal, and had a narrow perivitelline space and small oil droplets. The size of fertilized egg was 1.02 ± 0.18 mm ( n = 30), and there were two kinds of adhesive filament on the fertilized eggs. The long and thick (diameter 12.22 ± 0.52 μm, n = 20) adhesive filaments were only at the area of animal pole, and short and thin (diameter 1.99 ± 0.23 μm, n = 20) adhesive filaments were around the long filaments. A micropyle was conical shaped with adhesive filament and located near the animal pole of egg. The outer surface of fertilized egg was rough side. Also, the total thickness of the fertilized egg envelope was about 7.46 ± 0.41 μm ( n = 20), the fertilized egg envelope consisted of two layers, an inner lamellae layer and an outer layer with high electron-density. And the inner layer was 8 layers. Collectively, these morphological characteristics and adhesive property of fertilized egg with adhesive filaments, and ultrastructures of micropyle, outer surface, and section of fertilized egg envelope are showed species specificity.
우리나라 중앙정부 재정시스템이 지역 간 소득재분배와 지역안정화에 미치는 영향

This study seeks to determine to what extent the Central government's fiscal system impacts income redistribution and regional income stabilization in Korea. Using regression models, we can measure the impact of Central government's fiscal system on income redistribution over different regions and regional income stabilization in regions. Analysis shows that the national income tax had a insignificant effect on income redistribution. Interestingly however, when fiscal transfers were included, an income redistribution effect appeared. This implies that for Korea, government transfers conduct income redistribution. In regards to localized economic stabilization, the national tax and fiscal transfers had no significant effects. These results suggest that when the Central government establishes new fiscal systems, it should also keep the effect that the fiscal flow creates in mind.

The purpose of this study was to survey on infection status of pathogens of diarrhea from Korean in-digenous goat. A total of 800 fecal samples was collected from 50 farms from January to November 2016 and was tested by automatic biochemical machine and polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The over-all infection rates of parasitic, bacterial and viral pathogens was 13.0%, 23.0%, 11.3% and the rates of coccidia, Escherichia coli (E. coli), bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV), rotavirus and coronavirus were 13.0%, 23.0%, 5.3%, 8.8% and 2.6%, respectively. In the rates of mixed detection, single was 29.8%, double 5.1%, triple 2.8%, quadruple 1.1% in each sample, respectively.

The Naval Logistics Command forecasts demand for repair parts by compiling the time series techniques and qualitative judgment of repair parts item managers. However, the time series technique is difficult to forecast temporary and intermittent demand, and there is a problem in which it is difficult for an item manager dealing with more than 4,000 items to accurately grasp the demand information for each item. This paper proposes a demand forecasting method applied with machine learning techniques that have been actively utilized in many fields recently to improve those problems and increase demand forecasting rate. For the purpose of evaluating the proposed method of forecasting demand for repair parts, the accuracy was compared and analyzed by dividing the results of the forecast by item and quantity accuracy by applying the current procedure and method of forecasting demand for repair parts.
돼지 폐렴병소로부터 분리한 Pasteurella multocida의 capsular serogroup과 toxA gene의 분포

The present study was conducted to investigate the capsular serogroups and distribution of toxA gene of Pasteurella (P.) multocida isolated from pneumonic lung lesions of swine in Korea. A total number of 91 (36.3%) P. multocida isolated from 251 lung lesions. P. multocida isolates were typed for capsular serogroup and toxA gene by polymerase chain reaction. Of the 91 strains, serogroup A and D were 69 strains (75.8%) and 22 strains (24.2%), respectively. Sixty one strains (67.0%) out of 91 strains were detected as toxA gene, and 47 strains (77.0%) and 14 strains (23.0%) belongs to serogroup A and D, respectively.
