Objectives: The purpose of this study was to comprehensively examine the relationship between periodontal disease and high-sensitivity C reactive protein (hs-CRP) level. Methods: This study was conducted using the data from the sixth Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. SPSS 18.0 for Windows was used for statistical analysis. The data were collected from 4,576 subjects aged ≥19 years. To analyze the association between periodontal disease and hs-CRP level, chi-squared test and logistic regression analysis were used. Results: Consequent to correcting all the disturbance variables, the moderate risk of hs-CRP was 1.39 times higher in patients with periodontal disease than in those without (OR=1.39; 95% CI:1.14- 1.69), whereas the high risk of hs-CRP was 1.10 times but there was no statistical significance (OR=1.10; 95% CI:0.79-1.53). Conclusions: Periodontal disease contributes to raising the risk of systemic inflammation and hs-CRP from low to moderate. Periodontal disease is associated with an early rise in hs-CRP.

최근 인터넷 산업이 부각되면서 분류에 대한 연구도 인터넷 분야의 다양한 응용에 적용하기 위해 새롭게 재기되고 있다. 본 고에서는 이러한 지식분류체계의 변화양상과 동향을 파악하기 위해 이론적 배경으로 가장 기본이 되는 도서관학 측면에서의 기존 분류체계의 특성을 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 분류체계의 설계과정 기본원칙 및 새로운 적용분야에 대한 접근방식에 있어 분류체계에 대한 인식변화도 아울러 이루어져야 함을 살펴본다. 마지막으로 인터넷에 적용된 분류체계의 활용동향을 살펴보고자 한다.

MPEG-21 표준화는 다양한 비즈니스 모델과 수시로 변화하는 소비자의 요구를 만족시킬 수 있는 멀티미디어 프레임워크 구성을 목적으로 만들어졌다. ISO/IEC JTC1 SC29에서 현재까지 진행한 MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-3, MPEG-4, MPEG-7 표준에 이어 MPEG-21이 등장하게 된 배경과 함께 본 고에서는 사용자 요구사항을 기반으로 총 7개의 프레임워크 요소로 구성되어 있는 MPEG-21의 표준화 동향에 대하여 살펴보았다.

Objectives: The quality of service becomes a crucial factor in the dental health care field. This study examined the expectations and perceptions of patients regarding the dental service quality, as well as the difference between expectations and perceptions. Methods: The survey measuring the expectations and perceptions of dental service was carried out on 480 patients from 16 dental institutes in the Seoul metropolitan area. SERVQUAL measurement included five dimensions: `tangible`, `reliability`, `responsiveness`, `assurance`, and `empathy`. Results: Validity and reliability tests were conducted to combine the reliability and responsiveness. The modified SERVQAUL model including four dimensions was analyzed using a t-test and ANOVA to examine the quality gap between expectations and perceptions. The tangible aspect was perceived to have higher perception than their expectations of the dental service provided, and the reliability and responsiveness dimensions had higher expectations than perceptions. In addition, the gap between perception and expectation was significantly different in some demographic and institute groups. Conclusion: These results showed that dental service is perceived with higher service quality in the tangible characteristics compared to other dimensions. The intangible characteristics also play an important role in gaining positive perception in the dental services. Therefore, in addition to the tangible characteristics, the intangible dimension, particularly reliability and responsiveness, should be improved.

최근 정보가 미치는 영향력이 높아지고 정보서비스의 만족도 평가에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있는 실정이지만 정보의 다양한 특성들 때문에 정보와 정보서비스의 정확한 자치를 측정하고 평가하는 것은 복잡하고 다양한 방법을 요구하고 있다. 또한 정보제공서비스의 기능 및 효율성이 증시됨에 따라 정보제공서비스의 콘텐츠만족도와 서비스만족도, 시스템만족도 등에 관한 이용자의 만족도를 높이기 위한 만족도지수 측정에 대한 관심이 많아지고 있는 상황이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 인터넷 상에서 정보제공서비스를 하고 있는 ITFIND의 이용자만족지수(User Satisfaction Index)를 측정하여 보다 향상된 정보시스템 서비스 전략을 수립하고 개선방안을 도출하여 정보시스템 분야에서 이용자만족지수의 측정 결과를 통해 향후의 개선 방법 및 방안을 제시하고자 한다. Lately, influence of information rises and interest about estimation satisfaction of information service is rising. However, It requires complicated and various method that measure and evaluate correct value of information service by various attributes of information. Also function and efficiency of information offer service are important. Therefore, interest for satisfaction survey to heighten contents satisfaction of information offer service, service satisfaction, satisfaction of user of system satisfaction is increased. Therefor in This paper, measures lTFlND's User Satisfaction Index and establish information offer service strategy that improve. And wish to draw improvement way and present improvement method and way after direction through results of measurements of user satisfaction index in information offer service field.

Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the level of professional ethics awareness and medical ethics competency in order to assess thepotential need for ethics items to be included on the Korean Dental Hygienist Licensing Examination. Methods: In total, 358 clinical dental hygienists and dental hygiene students completed a structured questionnaire to evaluate their level of ethical awareness and medical ethics competency. The sub-factors of medical ethics were classified into relationships with patients,medical and social relations, and individual specialized fields. Results: Only 32.1% of participants indicated that they had taken a course on professional ethics in the university curriculum, but95.2% of respondents considered professional ethics to be important. The overall score for medical ethics competency was average(3.37 out of 5). The score for relationships with patients was 3.75 points, followed by medical and social relations (3.19 points) and individual specialized fields (3.16 points). The level of professional ethics awareness was higher among participants who had taken acourse on professional ethics than among those who had not done so or who did not remember whether they had done so. Conclusion: Dental hygienists were aware of the importance of professional ethics, but their medical ethics competency was moderate. Therefore, medical ethics should be treated as a required subject in the university curriculum, and medical ethics competency evaluations should be strengthened by adding ethics items to the Korean Dental Hygienist Licensing Examination.
