The on-orbit test simulation for predicting the instrument directional responsivity was conducted by the Monte Carlo based integrated ray tracing (IRT) computation technique and analytic flux-to-signal conversion algorithms. For the on-orbit test simulation, the Sun model consists of the Lambertian scattering sphere and emitting spheroid rays, the Amon-Ra instrument is a two-channel including a broadband scanning radiometer (energy channel) and an imager with ${\pm}2^{\circ}$ FOV (visible channel). The solar radiation produced by the Sun model is directed to the instrument viewing port and traced through the dual channel optical train. The instrument model is rotated on its rotation axis and this gives a slow scan of the Sun model over the full field of view. The direction of the incident lights are fed with scanned images obtained from the visible channel instrument. The instrument responsivity was computed by the ratio of the incident radiation input to the instrument output. In the radiometric simulation, especially, measured BRDF of the 3D CPC was used for scattering effects on radiometry. With diamond turned 3D CPC inner surface, the anisotropic surface scattering model from the measured data was applied to ray tracing computation. The technical details of the on-orbit test simulation are presented together with field-of-view calibration plan.
Prenatally Diagnosed TTN Mutation with Repeated Bilateral Club Foot by Whole Exome Sequencing

With significant advances in genomic technologies over recent years, Next-generation sequencing (NGS) has become an important tool not only for gene discovery and research but also for clinical genetic diagnosis of rare disorders and single-gene-disorder analysis. Many hundreds of single-gene disorders have been described that can manifest prenatally and will comprise a large portion of undiagnosed, chromosomally normal cases but underlying cause of the abnormality still remains unknown for the large majority of cases with an abnormal ultrasound. However, there has been little experience and study in using trio whole exome sequencing (WES) for prenatal diagnosis. In this report the NGS method was applied for the prenatal genetic diagnosis of unidentified life-threatening phenotype in one family and confirmed the pattern of inheritance of titinopathy as well as two novel TTNgene variations. The report presented in these pages offers a unique and valuable perspective on relevance and feasibility of NGS in prenatal diagnosis field.
지상 및 고도별 대기측정 자료 융합을 이용한 반도형 해안지역의 직달일사량 계절 변화 연구

Localized solar irradiance is normally derived from atmospheric transmission influenced by atmospheric composition and conditions of the target area. Specially, for the area with complex coastal lines such as Taean gun, the accurate estimation of solar irradiance requires for in depth analysis of atmospheric transmission characteristics based on the localized vertical profiles of the key atmospheric parameters. Using MODTRAN (MODerate resolution atmospheric TRANsmission) 6, we report a computational study on clear day atmospheric transmission and direct solar irradiance estimation of Taean gun using the data collected from 3 ground stations and radiosonde measurement over 93 clear days in 2018. The MODTRAN estimated direct solar irradiance is compared with the measurement. The results show that the normalized residual mean (NRM) is 0.28 for the temperature based MODTRAN atmospheric model and 0.32 for the pressure based MODTRAN atmospheric model. These values are larger than 0.1~0.2 of the other study and we understand that such difference represents the local atmospheric characteristics of Taean gun. The results also show that NRM tends to increase noticeably in summer as the temperature increases. Such findings from this study can be very useful for estimation and prediction of the atmospheric condition of the local area with complex coastal lines. 태양 일사량은 관측 지역의 대기 조성 및 기상에 따른 대기 투과율의 영향을 고려하여 계산된다. 특히, 태안 지역과 같은 복잡한 해안 특성을 가진 지역에서의 일사량 계산의 정확도를 높이기 위해서 국소 지역에대한 연직 기상 환경 자료를 통해 대기의 지역적 특성을 파악하고 이를 바탕으로 한 대기투과율을 계산할 수있어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 한반도 태안반도에 위치한 3개 지상관측소 및 라디오존데의 2018년도 기상 자료를 이용하여 청명일에 대한 대기투과율 및 직달일사량을 MODTRAN (MODerate-resolution atmospheric TRANsmission) 6를 이용하여 수치모사하였다. MODTRAN 6로 계산된 직달일사량 추정 값은 일사계의 실제관측 값과의 비교 연구를 수행한 결과, 일사량의 규격화 잔차 평균(Normalized Residual Mean)은 기온에 의한 대기표준모델을 적용한 경우 0.28, 기압의 경우 0.32로 나타나서 타 연구의 0.1~0.2에 비해 높게 나왔으며, 이는 지역적 대기 특성의 차이에 기인한 것으로 이해된다. 또한 기온이 높아지는 여름철로 갈수록 일사량 규격화 잔차평균이 커지는 경향을 확인할 수 있었다. 이를 통해 태안 지역과 같은 복잡한 해안 특성을 지닌 지역에서의 대기 모델 개선 가능성을 제시하였다.

Previously we introduced ray-tracing based 3D optical earth system model for specular and scattering properties of all components of the system (i.e. clear-sky atmosphere, land surfaces and an ocean surface). In this study, we enhanced 3-dimensional atmospheric structure with vertical atmospheric profiles for multiple layer and cloud layers using Lambertian and Mie theory. Then the phase dependent disk averaged spectra are calculated. The main results, simulated phase dependent disk averaged spectra and light curves, are compared with the 7 bands(300~1000nm) light curves data of the Earth obtained from High Resolution Instrument(HRI) in Deep Impact spacecraft during Earth flyby in 2008. We note that the results are comparable with the observation.
장거리 화염 탐지용 적외선 카메라 성능 광선추적 수치모사

본 논문에서는 사거리가 수백 km에 이르는 장거리 미사일의 화염을 발사 초기에 탐지할 수 있는 적외선 카메라에 대한 현실적 영상성능 수치모사 결과를 제시한다. 적외선 카메라는 중적외선 대역용 다수의 렌즈로 구성된 굴절식 광학계이다. 관측대상과 배경의 모델링 전체를 포함하는 규모의통합적 광선추적을 수행함으로 카메라를 통해 보는 영상과 검출기에 도달하는 빛의 세기에 대한 정보를 획득하였다. 관측대상이 되는 미사일 화염의 방사휘도(radiance)는 CFD 타입의 복사전달 기법으로 계산하였으며 이를 광원으로 삽입하여 광선추적을 수행하였다. 관측배경이 되는 대기 모델은 MODTRAN을 사용하여 열복사의 경로, 단일/다중 산란 복사와 투과율을 계산하였다. 광선추적 수치모사의 결과로써 관측대상의 이미지와 도달한 복사전달 성능(radiometric performance)의 검증을 통해 적외선 카메라가 요구사항을 만족함을 입증하였다. We report a realistic field-performance simulation for a new MWIR camera. It is designed for early detection of missile plumes over a distance range of a few hundred kilometers. Both imaging and radiometric performance of the camera are studied by using real-scale integrated ray tracing, including targets, atmosphere, and background scene models. The simulation results demonstrate that the camera would satisfy the imaging and radiometric performance requirements for field operation.

Interleaved Dual Boost(IDB) converter can reduce current ripple, switching loss and harmonics without filter in input power line. Moreover, this improve power factor.<br/> In this paper, we will use the state average methode and small signal analysis at the Interleaved dual boost converter.<br/> 4-type controllers were designed by using control transfer function. The result of these controller simulations is analyzed and proposed a proper controller at IDB.
