For the induction of arthropathy, 5% hydrogen peroxide($H_2O_2$) was injected for 5 weeks into the intraarticular space of the New Zealand white rabbits to damage articular cartilage. Alginic acid of low molecular weight (2%) made from macromolecular alginate treated with enzyme was administered into articular space at the dose of 5 mg/kg twice a week for 3 and 6 weeks using 1 ml syringe and 26 G needle. Saline was injected for the control. Tissues surrounding the articulation were obtained for the measurements of superoxide dismutase(SOD) activity as a major antioxidant enzyme and malondialdehyde (MDA) as a lipid peroxidation level. Histopathologic examination on the surface of articular cartilage was carried out. Data showed that injection of hydrogen peroxide for 5 weeks had led to the induction of free radical damage and of articular cartilage change as confirmed by microscopic observation. The application of hydrogen peroxide caused a gradual increase in the SODs and MDA. These patterns were similar after 3 and 6 weeks of alginate treatment. Furthermore, microscopic examinations revealed that hydrogen peroxide caused flaking, fibrillation, fissuring, denudation, and hypocellularity in the articular surfaces. In conclusion, lipid peroxidation was demonstrated in the articular cartilage by the administration of hydrogen peroxide in the rabbit model. This lipid peroxidation could be caused by oxygen free radicals. The histologic and enzymatic correlations on lipid peroxidation in the articulation have provided a better understanding of arthropathy. It is possible to take advantage of these findings to evaluate effective alginate dosage more efficiently.

For quantitative assessment of flexural strength by crack condition of PSC sleeper, which is one of the main components of the ballasted track, 9 PSC sleepers used in Gyeongbu high speed railway line were sampled and static bending strength tests were conducted by EN 13230-2. The flexural strength of PSC sleepers with some mesh or longitudinal cracks was lower than that of new sleepers. In particular, the flexural strength of PSC sleepers with mesh-type cracks was less than 40% of the new sleepers’ flexural strength. The flexural strength of uncracked sleepers was similar to that of new sleepers
프리스트레스트 콘크리트 침목의 설계승인 시험 기준 적정성 연구

프리스트레스트 콘크리트 침목에 대한 설계승인 시험 시 EN 13230-2 또는 이를 부합화한 KRS TR 0008 규격 내 승인 기준이 적용되고 있다. 이 승인 기준에서 레일 좌면부 정적 및 동적 휨 강도 시험 기준에 적용되고 있는 계수 k1s, k2s, k1d, k2d 및 정적 시험 시 초기 균열 기준은 유럽 표준에서 권장되고 있는 값 또는 표현이 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 국내에 적용되고 있는 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 침목에 대해 기 수행된 설계승인 시험 결과를 분석하여 설계승인 기준에 사용되는 계수 k1s, k2s, k1d, k2d의 적정성을 평가하였다. 또한 레일 좌면부의 초기 균열을 야기하는 모멘트 계산을 통해 정적 휨 시험 시 초기 균열 기준의 적정성을 평가하였다. The acceptance criteria specified in EN 13230-2 or KRS TR 0008 have been used in design approval test for prestressed concrete sleepers. The coefficients of k1s, k2s, k1d, k2d that are applied to static and dynamic test standards for rail seat section and the first crack initiation criteria are equal to values or contents recommended by CEN. In this study, adequacy of the coefficients of k1s, k2s, k1d, k2d were evaluated as the analysis of the design approval test data for prestressed concrete sleepers used in domestic. Adequacy of the first crack initiation criteria for static bending test was also evaluated as calculation of moment causing first crack for rail seat section.

현재 국내에서 적용되고 있는 RC침목은 대부분 twin-block 형태이며 콘크리트 슬래브 궤도에 매립되므로, 열차하중 작용 시 휨거동을 하지 않는다. 그러나 RC침목은 운반시 및 시공불량 시 휨하중이 발생될 수 있으며 건조수축 및 장기피로 하중에 의한 균열발생 가능성이 있으므로, 구조적 안전성 확보 및 품질 평가를 위한 시험 규격이 필요하다. RC침목 시험은 KRS TR 0009 규격에 규정되어 있으나 이 규격은 설계승인 및 일상시험의 구분이 없으며, 정적-동적 휨 시험 간의 지점거리가 상이하며, 설계모멘트로부터 유도된 시험하중이 적용되지 않고 있다. 따라서 KRS TR 0009 규격의 문제점을 보완할 수 있도록 EN 13230-3 규격으로의 부합화가 요구되며, 부합화를 전제로 EN 13230-3에 따라 국내에 부설된 3종류의 RC침목에 대한 적합성 평가를 수행하였다. RC sleepers generally used in the country are a twin-block type, there is no flexural behavior of RC block under the vehicle load as it is embedded in concrete slab track. But the test standard for structural safety assurance and quality control of RC blocks is required due to a chance of occurrence of bending moment and crack at construction and service condition. Performance test method for RC block is specified in KRS TR 0009, but there are some problems in this standard. To compensate the problems of KRS TR 0009, it is necessary to harmonize it with EN 13230-3. In this paper, conformity assessment of three types of RC blocks used in the country was performed according to EN 13230-3 on condition of harmonization.

This research is to investigate the effects of exercise adherence due to the leisure satisfaction of marine sports participants. In this paper, we will provide a basic database to vitalize marine sports. In order to analyze the result, we conducted a survey targeting 326 participants from 2010 Busan metropolitan city marine sports. The following results are obtained after analyze the data using SPSS/PC+ Win. 15.0 with a correlation analysis and a multiple regression analysis. First, all of the sub-factors from leisure satisfaction and exercise adherence show a positive correlation after analyzing the relationship between the leisure satisfaction and the exercise adherence of marine sports participants. Second, after analyzing the effects of exercise adherence according to the leisure satisfaction of marine sports participants, the result showed that the egoistic satisfaction influences the exercise capacity. Therefore, the data shows that the psychological satisfaction affects exercise environment, exercise companion, exercise habits and exercise attention.
경로선택특성 분석을 통한 교차경로 통과시간 예측 모형 개발

Recently, the buildings are the trend of enlargement and manhattanization. Particularly in case of multi-use facilities, it has the majority of maze structure and utilized for unspecified individuals who understand the space a little as their stakes are high to expose in fire and disaster. To prevent the fire and disaster, Republic of Korea implements Performance Based Design (PBD) but the simulation tool for required safe egress time analysis of PBD doesn’t consider the way-finding characteristic though the junction routing selection or decision making time of occupants. Therefore, this paper organizes a mock-up set and analyzes human behavior characteristics of pedestrian targeting 70 people. The test was compartmentalized normal & smoke-filled condition and inquired into the behavior characteristics such as evacuation time, travel distance, walking speed though the experiment. Additionally, decision making time and characteristics of choosing the egress route in the junction were analyzed. Finally, based on the mock-up test results, suggest the junction-travel time prediction considering junction routing selection and decision making time of the pedestrian. Through this paper, the required safe egress time can be analyzed reflecting the decision making of pedestrian.
보강철근이 적용된 급속경화궤도용 광폭침목의 보유 휨 내력 평가

노후화된 자갈궤도를 콘크리트 궤도로 개량하는 급속경화궤도 기술이 개발되어 일반철도 및 도시철도의 토공 및 터널 현장에 적용되고 있다. 프리스트레스 방식으로 제작되는 콘크리트 침목에는 일반적으로 보강 개념의 철근이 적용되지 않는다. 그러나 철도 현장에 부설된 침목 다수에서 균열 발생 사례가 관찰되고 있다. 급속경화궤도 시스템의 주요 구성품 중 하나인 광폭침목은 이러한 문제가 발생되지 않도록 자갈궤도 및 콘크리트 궤도 상태에서 구조적인 안전성이 보장되어야 하며 균열 저항성이 확보되어야 한다. 특히 포스트텐션 방식으로 제작되는 광폭침목은 반드시 레일 좌면부에 인장부 보강철근이 적용되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 급속경화궤도용 광폭침목의 보강철근 적용 유무에 따른 침목의 보유 휨 내력 및 균열저항 성능을 비교 및 평가하기 위하여, 정적 및 동적 휨강도 시험, 피로 시험을 실시하였다. 시험 결과 광폭침목 레일 좌면부에 주재료인 강봉 뿐만 아니라 소수의 보강철근을 적절하게 배치할 경우 균열발생 억제 및 균열폭 확대 지연, 휨 파괴 지연효과를 확인할 수 있었다. A quick-hardened concrete track was developed to improve the aged ballasted track to a concrete track, and applied to earthworks and tunnels of main and urban railways. Rebars for reinforcement are not generally applied to prestressed concrete sleepers. On the other hand, many cracked sleepers have been observed in railroad sites. A wide sleeper, which is one of the main components of quick-hardened concrete track, should be structurally safe and crack-resistant in a ballasted and concrete track to avoid this problem. In particular, a wide sleeper manufactured by a post-tension method must have reinforcing bars applied to the rail-seat section. In this paper, static tests, dynamic tests, and fatigue tests were carried out to compare the flexural strength and crack resistance performance of a wide sleeper with and without reinforcing bars for a quick-hardened concrete track. As a result of the test, if some reinforcing bars are applied appropriately to the rail-seat section of a wide sleeper, it will be possible to prevent the occurrence of cracks, delay the expansion of the crack width, and the flexural fracture.
