What should companies consider if they want to create the space branding? Space branding promotes brand image by inducing consumers to experience directly. They should choose which brand image they want to recognize by experiencing in what space type. Thus, this thesis analyzes and systematizes the space type of space branding, experiential marketing and brand identity. As a result, the thesis proposes its utilization method.

Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) is a dermal spindle cell neoplasm of intermediate malignancy. It typically forms a brown indurated plaque on which firm nodules subsequently arise, sometimes with ulceration. Atypical DFSP presentations are not unusual, including atrophic, pedunculated, morphea-like and angioma-like forms. However, subcutaneous variant of DFSP that may either arise without dermal involvement or with minimal dermal involvement is very rare. A 36-year-old man presented with a palpable nodule without surface change around the right nipple. Microscopically, the neoplasm was composed of spindle cells with monomorphic storiform arrangement. The superficial part of the neoplasm was located in the subcutaneous tissue. Immunohistochemical staining showed strong cytoplasmic positivity for CD34, but not for factor XIIIa. Dermatologists should pay careful attention to these unusual variant of DFSP, which can be confused with other soft tissue tumors. (Korean J Dermatol 2011;49(11): 1025∼1027)
갑상선 수술 후 발생한 비대흉터와 켈로이드에서 스테로이드 병변내 주사 단일요법과 스테로이드 병변내 주사 및 냉동치료 병용요법에 관한 비교 연구

Background: Various treatment modalities for hypertrophic scars and keloids have been used. However, there is no consensus as to what the optimum approach should be. Most common treatments are corticosteroid intralesional injection (ILI) and cryotherapy as well as combination of these two modalities. To this date, however, there are no prospectively comparative, scar-split studies between steroid ILI monotherapy and combination of steroid ILI and cryotherapy. Objective: The purpose of this article is to investigate and compare the efficacy of steroid ILI monotherapy and the combination of steroid ILI and cryotherapy. Methods: Eighteen women who had thyroid operation scars were recruited. Patients received steroid ILI with cryotherapy on the right half, and steroid ILI monotherapy on the left half of the scar. Patients were treated for four sessions with three weeks of intervals. Subjects were evaluated on their scar status with the modified Vancouver scar scale (MVSS) and scar redness by using colorimeter at baseline and every visit day. Results: After four treatment sessions, MVSS was significantly improved on both sides of scar. Significant improvement was observed after one treatment session on the right half, and after two treatment sessions on the left half. There was no significant difference between left and right side after four sessions of treatment. The scar redness of both sides of scar showed no significant differences between the baseline and at the end of the study. Conclusion: Both corticosteroid ILI with cryotherapy and corticosteroid ILI monotherapy are effective treatment modalities for hypertrophic scars. However, the results of the present study suggest that a combination therapy might lead to more rapid improvements. (Korean J Dermatol 2013;51(7):489∼493)

This study aims to estimate location of land mammals habitat by analyzing spatial data and investigate how to apply environmental DNA monitoring methodology to lotic system in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do. Environmental DNA sampling points are selected through spatial analysis with QGIS open source program by overlaying Kernel density of wild boar(Sus scrofa), elevation, slope and land-cover map, and 81 samples are collected. After 240 mL of water was filtered in each sample, metabarcoding technique using MiMammal universal primer was applied in order to get a whole list of mammal species whose DNA particles contained in filtered water. 8 and 22 samples showed DNA of wild boar and water deer, respectively. DNA of raccoon dog, Eurasian otter, and Siberian weasel are also detected through metabarcoding analysis. This study is valuable that conducted in outdoor lotic system. The study suggests a new wildlife monitoring methodology integrating overlayed geographic data and environmental DNA.
대동맥판막 치환술 환자에서 발생한 아스페르길루스 심내막염 1예

아스페르길루스 심내막염은 국내에서도 7증례만 보고된 바 있는 드문 질환이며 명확한 치료 방안이 정립되지 못하여 사망률 또한 매우 높은 질환이다. 최근 심장수술의 증가, 장기이식, 광범위 항생제 사용 등으로 입원환자 중에 그 발생빈도가 증가하고 있어 해당 질환에 대한 관심이 필요하겠다. 현재까지 아스페르길루스 심내막염의 치료는 외과적 수술 및 적절한 항균제의 사용이 고려되고 있으나 병합요법의 필요성 및 추후 이차적 예방에 관해 더 많은 연구가 요구되고 있다. 저자들은 대동맥판막 치환술및 관상동맥 우회술을 시행한 환자에서 판막파열 및 가성동맥류가 발생하였고, 수술 후 조직검사에서 A. fumigatus를 확인했던 아스페르길루스 심내막염 환자를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Aspergillus endocarditis is a rare infection that occurs most commonly after heart valve replacement surgery. The outcomes for patients with prosthetic valve endocarditis due to Aspergillus species have been extremely poor. Therapeutic management conventionally consists of combined medical and surgical approaches. However, there was no clear evidence to determine whether or not combination therapy was superior to liposomal amphotericin B alone. And no clear pattern could be determined in relation to the optimal duration of initial antifungal treatment or of long-term secondary prophylaxis. We report a case of aspergillus endocarditis in a patient who underwent aortic valve replacement surgery. The results of repeated blood culture were negative. Aortic root replacement was performed and Aspergillus fumigatus was isolated from aortic valve tissue. Despite of postoperative liposomal amphotericin B therapy, he died of multiple organ failure associated with diffuse brain damage.
경험 추론(귀추)적 순환 학습 모형을 활용한 탐구 수업 전략 개발 : 과학3의 “물의 순환과 날씨 변화” 단원을 중심으로

본 연구의 목적은 학생 중심의 탐구 수업 전략을 개발하는데 있다. 실험실 수업과 교실 수업이 분리되어 있는 우리나라 과학 교육 현실에 적용 할 수 있는 탐구 수업 전략 개발을 위해 탐색, 용어 도입, 개념 응용 단계로 이루어져 있는 로슨의 경험 추론(귀추)적 순환 학습 모형을 사용하였다. 탐색 단계에서 학생 중심의 탐구 수업이 실험실에서 이루어 질 수 있도록 중학교 과학 3의 "물의 순환과 날씨 변화" 단원에서 해륙풍을 주제로 하는 탐구 실험을 개발하였다. 탐구 실험은 귀납적 I·O·E 형태로 도입, 관찰, 설명의 순서로 구성되어 있으며 학생용, 교사용 탐구 실험이 있다. 그리고 학생들의 실험 수행평가를 위해 탐구 과정기능, 실험 기능, 개인별 실험 태도에 대한 채점 기준도 개발하였다. 이와 함께 개발한 탐구 실험을 1차시 실험실 수업으로 하고 2차시 교실 수업과 연계할 수 있는 탐구 수업 전략도 개발하였다. This study aims for the development how to organize a more student-centered inquiry teaching strategy. The Lawson's empirical inductive learning cycle model is used to develop the strategy to be applied in the current circumstances of Korean science classes at schools, which separately conduct laboratory classes from ordinary science classes. Lawson's cycle model has three stages; exploration, introduction of terms and application of acquired idea. Lawson emphasizes that the exploration with students' active participation should be preceded before the other process when students start to learn science, in his model. Inquiry experiments are developed in this thesis in order to encourage students to lead science classes at school laboratories. These inquiry experiments have been made with two different topics coming from "Science 3" used in Korean middle schools; The topic is 'land and sea breeze' from the section of 'the circulation of water and weather change'. This inquiry experiments is consisted of 'Introduction', 'Observation' and 'Explanation', in order, with the form of inductive I·O·E. Inaddition, sub-textbooks for students and guide books for teachers are suggested for the experiments. Three standards to evaluate students' performance in the experiments are also set by the categories of 'used skills for the inquiries', 'performance' and 'attitude' to the experiments so that teachers can carry out objective and process-focused evaluation on their students' efforts to the classes. The created strategy in this thesis ultimately prioritize laboratory inquiry classes according to the Lawson's empirical inductive learning cycle model. That is, in the primary step, students undergo 'exploration' being the center of the inquiry experiments at the laboratories. Afterward, in the secondary step, the introduction of terms, which introduce related terms and explain them, and the application of acquired idea are carried out at ordinary classrooms. In the process of idea application, students solve given questions and internalize acquired ideas. Newly developed strategy for school inquiry experiments in this thesis will help Korean science classes turn to be more student-centered, in other words, students have more leadership in the classes than teachers do.
