버섯발생과 환경요인(강수랑, 토양수분량, 온도, 식생)과의 관계를 이해하기 위하여 2003년부터 2008년까지 6년 동안 매년 6월∼10월에 속리산 국립공원 내 소나무 우점림과 참나무 우점림에서 버섯 발생종을 조사하고 분석하였다. 버섯 발생종은 연간 94종~167종으로 연간 변이가 있었으며 그 중 가장 큰 비중을 차지하는 것은 주로 외생균근성 버섯으로 송이과(Tricholomataceae), 광대버섯과(Amanitaceae), 무당버섯과(Russulaceae), 끈적버섯과(Cortinariaceae), 그물버섯과(Boletaceae)의 종이었으며, 가장 많이 발생한 시기는 7월부터 8월에 l3~90종이었다. 버섯발생종수는 6월∼10월의 강수랑과 r=0.897의 정의 상관관계가 있었고, 장기적으로는 파머가뭄지수와 단기적으로는 표준강수지수와도 관련이 있었다. 또한 토양수분량에 따라 버섯발생종과 수가 달랐다. 토양수분량이 20% 이상인 시기에 버섯발생종수는 50여종이었으나, 10%이하 에서는 5∼20종이었다. 노란젖버섯(Lactarius chrysorrheus), 기와버섯(Russula virescens) 등은 토양수분량이 20% 이상일 때 발생하였다. 발생버섯의 종수는 대기온도와 r=0.77의 상관관계가 있었으며, 21℃~25℃에서 많았다. 대기온도가 25℃이상에서 주로 발생하는 종은 금버섯(Tricholoma flayayirens), 구근광대버섯(Amanita gymnopus), 굴털이젖버섯(Lactarius piperatus), 삿갓땀버섯(Inocybe asteropora), 마른산그물버섯(Xerocomus chrysenteron) 등이었고, 온도변화에 큰 영향을 받지 않고 장기간 발생하는 버섯은 졸각버섯(Laccaria laccata), 독우산 광대버섯(Amanita virosa), 수원무당버섯(Russula mariae) 등이었다. 식생에 따라 발생버섯종이 달랐는데, 소나무 우점림에서만 발생한 종은 황소비단그물버섯(Suillus bovinus), 흰굴뚝버섯(Boletopsis leucomelas) 등 38종이었다. 굴참나무 우점림에서만 발생한 종은 좀벌집버섯(Polyporus arcularius), 노루궁뎅이(Hericium erinaceum) 등 42종이었다. 그리고 졸각버섯(Laccaria laccata), 말불버섯(Lycoperdon perlatum) 등 50종은 두 식생림에서 모두 발생하였다. 결론적으로 버섯 발생종과 종수는 강수량, 토양수분, 온도 그리고 우점 기주수종에 따라 크게 달라졌다. Mushroom fruiting was investigated in pine and oak dominated forest stands in Songni National Park located in central Korea for six years from 2003 to 2008, in order to understand the relationship between mushroom diversity and the environmental factors, precipitation, temperature, soil moisture and vegetation. The most frequent fruiting families were those of ectomycorrhizal mushrooms, Tricholomataceae, Amanitaceae, Russulaceae, Cortinariaceae, and Boletaceae. The frequency of mushroom fruiting varied from 94 to 167 species per year, with July and August having the highest(13~90 species). Mushroom fruiting was positively correlated to precipitation(r=0.897), using Palmer Drought Severity Index for the long term period and Standard Precipitation Index for short term period. Soil moisture content also affected mushroom fruiting, with Lactarius chrysorrheus and Russula virescens fruiting only at soil moisture content higher than 20%. Positive correlation between mushroom fruiting and temperature was also noted(r=0.77), with optimum rates at 21~25℃. Tricholoma flayayirens, Amanita gymnopus, Lactarius piperatus, Inocybe asteropora and Xerocomus chrysenteron were able to fruit at temperatures higher than 25℃. However, Laccaria amethystea, Amanita virosa and Russula mariae fruited at relatively wide temperature range. The influence of vegetation on mushroom fruiting was likewise noted, with 38 species, including Suillus bovinus and Boletopsis leucomelas being specific to pine dominated stands, while 42 species, including Polyporus arcularius and Hericium erinaceum were specific to oak dominated stands. On the other hand, around 50 species, including Laccaria laccata and Lycoperdon parlatum, were able to fruit in both types of vegetation. In conclusion, mushroom fruiting greatly varies with changes in precipitation, soil moisture, temperature and vegetation.

The involvement of the cell-wall degrading enzymes in Rhizobium has long been an unsolved question about the infection process in the formation of root nodule. To assess the contribution of the cellulase to the nodulation of rhzobia, here we report the production of cellulase from R. meliloti TAL1372 which degrade carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) model substrate with CMC-plate method. We constructed a genomic library by cloning Sau3A-digested genomic DNA from R meliloti TAL1372 into the BamHI site of the cosmid vector pLAFR3. Out of more than one thousand transductants of E. coli, one clone (pRCB-71) had CM-cellulose activity and contained pLAFR3 cosmid with 30 kb insert of R. meliloti DNA. The product of CM-cellulose gene was analyzed by native PAGE. About 45 kD protein was considered to be a product of the gene. Tn5 mutagenesis reveals that the structural gene located in a ca 3kb KpnI fragment. The cellulose-minus mutants of R. meliloti TAL1372 were obtained by Tn5 mutagenesis of pRC8-71 and marker exchange techniques. Analyses of the nodulation ability of these Tn5 mutants showed that the CM-cellulose gene of R. meliloti TAL1372 may be involved in early nodulation development on alfalfa.

원자력 발전소와 같이 환경적으로 큰 재난을 가져 올 수 있는 시스템에서는 전체 시스템을 구축하기 전에 구축하고자 하는 시스템의 안전성을 보장할 수 있는지의 여부와 그러한 시스템의 조작자들의 훈련을 위해 실시간 시뮬레이션이 반드시 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 원자력 발전소의 SIS(Safety Injection System)를 실시간 객체 TMO(Time-triggered Message Triggered Model)를 이용 모델링하는 기법과, 분산 실시간 객체 플랫폼인 WTMOS 위에서 구현된 SIS 시뮬레이션 시스템에 대해 기술하였다.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to estimate the prevalence of metabolic syndrome, as defined by the ATP III report, in some Korean adults and use the Asian-Pacific proposed waist circumference to investigate waist circumference in some Korean adults using ROC curves. Methods : Study subjects were seventy-five thousands and ninety one persons(47,979 men and 27,111 women) who were selected among the patients who visited hospital for health evaluation from January 2000 to December 2001. All subjects were measured by height, weight, waist and hip circumferences, blood pressure and blood chemistry(lipid profile). Results : The mean age was $41.6{\pm}8.5$ years in men, $41.1{\pm}10.4$ years in women(p<0.05). Body mass index was in the normal range in 35.3% of men, and 55.9% of women. In both men and women, blood pressure, blood sugar, total cholesterol and triglyceride were positively correlated with BMI. waist circumference, and Broca's index(p<0.01). However HDL. choloesterol was correlated negatively (p< 0.01). Using ROC curve, the calculated waist circumferences were 84 cm in men(sensitivity 61.4% and specificity 64.1%) and 74 cm in women(sensitivity 65.0% and specificity 73.2%). The age adjusted prevalences of the metabolic syndrome as defined by NCEP ATP III were different for men(6.4%) and women(14.6%). The prevalence increased from 1.2% among participants aged 20 through 29years to 15.0% among participants aged over 60years in men(p<0.05) and from 1.6% to 27.4% respectively, in women. The age adjusted prevalences, as defined by using the waist circumference that was recommended by WHO's regional office for the western Pacific, were 10.6% in men and 18.5% in women. The age adjusted prevalences, as defined by using the waist circumference that was calculated by the ROC curves, were 17.1% in men and 22.4% in women. And All prevalences were increased following increased BMI and Broca's index. Conculsions : The prevalence of metabolic syndrome in some Korean adults was lower than that in western adults. Nevertheless because waist circumference was differed among race and region, application of the same criteria was not proper. Morcover, a higher awareness was required in women, because the prevalence of metabolic syndrome was rapidly increased with increment of age.
