This paper presents a case of an early malignant transformation of untreated ulcers in a patient with diabetes. This case shows that Marjolin's ulcer can occur not only after chronic injury, but can also develop in the early stages after the onset. Hence, an early biopsy for diabetic foot ulcers that fail to heal with acute treatment can enable an earlier diagnosis and treatment without amputation, resulting in a better quality of life for the patient.
HALT와 FMECA 수행을 통한 음성접속장치의 신뢰성 핵심부품 분석 연구

음성접속장치는 공항관제탑과 항공기 및 항공기 간에 통신을 제어하는 전자시스템으로써 군 무기체계에서 신뢰성 향상이 필요한 장치로 분류되어 진다. 이 논문에서는 음성접속장치의 신뢰성평가를 수행하고 취약부분을 검증하였다. 먼저, 기능분석을 통해 음성접속장치를 구성하는 부품을 조사하고, 부품의 기능을 정의하였다. 기능분석을 기반으로 FMECA를 이용하여 부품들이 고장 시 음성접속장치에 어떠한 영향을 끼치고 발생되는 고장 유형을 분석하고 가장 취약한 부품을 선정하였다. HALT 시험으로 FMECA의 결과를 검증하였다. The system controls of communication between the control tower and aircraft is referred to as the audio interface unit (AIU). AIUs are classified as devices requiring high-levels of reliability in military weapon systems. In this study, we performed a reliability assessment of an AIU. First, the components that comprise the AIU were investigated, and the function of the AIU was performed depending on the function of the components using functional analysis (FA). On the basis of the results of the FA, failure mode, effects, and criticality analysis (FMECA) was used to examine the effect and failure mode on the AIU in the event of failure of each component and thus select the critical part. Further, we performed a highly accelerated life testing to verify the FMECA results.
도시지역 주민의 관상동맥질환 위험인자에 관련한 비만지표의 유용성 검토

Objectives : To determine obesity for the screening of individuals at high risk of coronary heart disease in urban areas. Methods : Data were obtained from 4,137 adults between 19 and 85 years of age (2,372 males, 1,765 females), not recognized as taking medicines for cardiovascular diseases, who underwent a health check-up at the health promotion center of university hospitals in cities between Jan. 2003 and Dec. 2004. The variables studied were divided into two broad categories, and their relationships examined. obesity indices and risk factors for coronary heart disease. To reveal the relation between each of the obesity indices and the proportion of individuals at risk of coronary heart disease, the obesity indices were stratified and odds ratios obtained after age adjustment. Results : From a gender comparison of anthropometric measures, men were found to have significantly greater heights, weights, and waist and hip circumferences than women. From a gender comparison by the obesity indices, women were found to have significantly higher BMI, %Fat, waist to hip and waist to stature ratios than men. As obesity indices, the waist to stature ratio and the waist circumference were strongly correlated with coronary risk factors, both in men and women. The age-adjusted odds ratio of coronary risk factors increased significantly with increasing waist circumference, BMI, %fat, waist to hip and waist to stature ratios, and were highest specifically for the waist to stature ratio and the waist circumference. Conclusions : The study results showed that the waist to stature ratio and the waist circumference, as obesity indices, were most closely correlated with coronary risk factors. It is suggested that the waist to stature ratio and, specifically, the waist circumference can be effectively used in the field of health management for screening those with high levels of coronary risk factors.
에멀젼에서의 잔탄검과 로커스트 빈검의 조성비에 따른 유변학적 특성에 대한 연구

Synergistic polysaccharide-polysaccharide interactions are attractive commercially and enjoy widespread technological exploitation (Cairns et al., 1987). Expensive polymers may be replaced by a cheaper mixture. Xanthan/LBG solution was prepared by adding the gum into hot water and further heating to 80℃ for about 30 min with continuous stirring to ensure complete solubility and to obtain a clear homogenous solution. The storage modulus(G`) and the yield stress of solutions were increased with increasing LBG ratio, which was mostly noticed between LBG ratio 0.5∼0.75. On the other hand shear thinning effect was shows at high shear on LBG ratio 0.25. Elastic modulus was increased with increasing LBG more than two times and it was enhancing suspending properties on emulsion. Since the rheological properties describe the fundamental information about the cosmetic, these results may be of help to the design of new feeling cosmetic emulsion.
컴파일시 생성된 여러개의 선형 순서를 가지는 AND / OR 프로세스 모델에 관한 연구

본 논문에서는 AND/OR 프로세스 모델의 수행시 부담을 줄이기 위해 컴파일시에 수행 순서를 생성하도록 하였다. 가능한 입력 바인딩 패턴에 따라 heuristic한 규칙에 의해 여러개의 가능한 선형 순서가 만들어지며, 수행시에는 바디리터럴을 풀기위해 그중 하나가 선택된다. 각각의 선형 순서는 적합한 데이터 종속 관계를 만들어내기 때문에 거의 최적의 AND 병렬성을 추구할 수 있으며, 이것은 기존의 다른 컴파일 방식들보다 우수하다. 때로는 AND 병렬성이 제한되는 경우가 있으나, 수행시 부담을 줄임으로써 보상될 수 있다. 전방향 및 후방향 수행을 위한 수행시 제어도 간단한 자료 구조에 의해서 효과적으로 제어된다. The AND/OR process model is modified to reduce the runtime overhead in this thesis. In the proposed model, the run time overhead for literal ordering is reduced by generating the execution orders ill compile time. Several possible ordered lists are generated in compile time with several heuristic rules according to the possible input binding patterns and one of them is selected in run time to solve the body literals. Because each ordered list can generate the proper data dependencies, the heady optimal AND parallelism can be exploited, which is better than the other compile approaches. Though this approach may restrict AND parallelism in some cases, it can be compensated by reducing the run time overhead. The run time control for the forward and backward executions is managed simply and efficiently by a simple data structure.
어레이 안테나 장착을 위한 단훈화된 주익 구조의 복합재 모자형 보강재 최적설계

정찰 및 감시를 위한 어레이 안테나가 내장된 날개는 컷아웃이 수반되기 떄문에 구조성능이 저하된다. 본 논문에서는 단순화된 복합재 날개에 어레이 안테나 탑재시 안테나성능 저하와 날개구조 성능 저하를 최소화할 수 있는 복합재 모자형 보강재의 두께에 대해 최적설계를 수행하였다. 최적인 모자형 보강재 형상 선정을 위하여 모자형 보강재의 웹 경사도와 플랜지의 길이에 변화를 주어 상용 유한요소해석 프로그램음 이용하여 구조 해석을 수행하였다. 복합재 모자형 보강재형사에 대하여 응력과 좌굴에 대한 구속조건으로 상용 최적화 프로그램인 VisualDOC와 상용 유한요소해석 프로그램을 이용하여 최적화를 수행하여 보강재의 두께를 절정하였다. The structural performance is degraded in case of embedding the array antenna for reconnaissance and surveillance into the wing skin structures. In this paper, the optimal design for the thickness of composite hat-shaped stiffener which is reinforced embedded array antenna on the simplified composite wing box was conducted. To select the basic shape of hat-shaped stiffener, structural analysis was carry out using the commercial finite element analysis program while changing the web slope and flange length of hat-shaped stiffener. The optimal thickness of the composite hat-shaped stiffeners was determined by using commercial optimization program such as VisualDOC and commercial FEA program with considering stresses and buckling constraints.
