        중학교 수학 기하 단원에서 공학적 도구 활용이 학생들의 수학 학업 성취도와 수학 학습 태도에 미치는 효과

        This study was conducted to analyze the effects of mathematics classes using engineering tools on students' mathematics academic achievement and mathematics learning attitude, focusing on the basic figure and drawing sections of the first grade of middle school. Eighty students of first-grade at H Middle School in South Gyeongsang province were divided into two groups, taking a total of six weeks of classes using engineering tools(Algeomath) and traditional tools, and covariate analysis(ANCOVA) was used to analyze students' mathematics academic achievements and changes in mathematical learning attitude. The analysis found that classes using engineering tools were effective in students' mathematics academic achievements and attitude of learning math. Based on the results of the study, the necessity of utilizing various engineering tools in the future secondary school math class and the prospect and implications of the classes were discussed. 본 연구는 중학교 1학년 기본도형과 작도 단원을 중심으로 공학적 도구를 활용한 수학 수업이 학생들의 수학 학업 성취도와 수학 학습 태도에 미치는 효과를 분석하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위해 경남 소재 H중학교 1학년 학생 80명을 두 집단으로 구분하여 공학적 도구(Algeomath)를 활용한 수업과 전통적인 교구를 사용한 판서 수업을 총 6주간에 걸쳐 진행하였으며, 학생들의 수학 학업 성취도와 수학적 성향 변화를 분석하기 위해 공변량분석(ANCOVA)을 활용하였다. 분석 결과, 공학적 도구를 활용한 수업이 학생들의 수학 학업 성취도와 수학 학습 태도에 효과가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 연구 결과를 바탕으로 향후 중등학교 수학 수업에서 다양한 공학적 도구 활용의 필요성과 수업의 전망 및 시사점을 논의하였다.

      • 외상후 뇌척수액 이루를 동반한 재발성 세균성 뇌막염 1례

        저자들은 교통사고로 기저 두개골 골절과 좌측 측두골 골절, 좌측 외이도 파열상을 받은 후, 외상성 뇌척수액 이루를 동반한 재발성 세균성 뇌막염으로 4차례 입원한 환아에서 측두골 CT을 사용하여 측두골 골절과 RI cisternography를 사용하여 뇌척수액 누출을 확인하고, 단순 유양절개술을 시행하여 유돌개의 골피열과 경막 결손을 발견하였고 그 사이로 뇌척수액 누출을 확인하였으며, 경막 복원술로 치료한 환아 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. A 9-year-old male with repeated(four times in 2 years) pneumococcal meningitis after head trauma by traffic accident is reported. RI cisternography demonstrated an abnormal accumulation of radioisotope in the left ear cavity, suggesting concealed CSF fistulae (otorrehea). The origin of CSF fistulae (bony dehiscence of tegmen mastoideum and dural laceration) had been detected by simple mastoidotomy. The dura defect was successfully repaired with the initial operation used by perichondrium and temporal fascia. In order to prevent disastrous complications of repeated purulent meningitis, a detailed study to disclose CSF fistulae should be done in cases of posttraumatic meningitis.

        분해모델과 구멍 메움 알고리즘을 이용한 냉장고 내부 용적의 자동 계산

        Internal capacity of a refrigerator is an important indicator for design and purchasing criteria. The components facing the internal space may have holes or gaps between parts. In traditional way, design engineers manually remodeled the parts to fill the holes and the gaps for enclosed boundary of the internal space. Then they calculated internal volume by subtracting the assembly of parts from its enclosing volume. However, filling holes and gaps is not an automated process requiring a plenty of labor and time. In this research, we have developed a voxel-based method to estimate the internal volume of a refrigerator automatically. It starts transforming all components facing the interior space into voxels and fills all holes and gaps automatically by the developed hole-filling algorithm to form a completely closed boundary of the assembly. Then, it identifies the boundary voxels that are facing to the internal voxels with any part of the component. After getting the intersection points between the boundary voxels and the surfaces of components, it generates the boundary surface of triangular facets with the intersection points. Finally, it estimates the internal volume by adding volume of each tetrahedron composed of a triangle of boundary surface and an arbitrary point.

      • 중·고등학교 학생의 특성을 재구조화한 공통 요인에 따른 군집의 특성 분석

        이 연구에서는 중·고등학교 학생의 특성을 종합적으로 고려하기 위해, 24가지 학생의 특성을 공통 요인으로 재구조화하고, 재구조화한 학생의 특성 요인으로 학생들의 군집이 어떻게 형성되는지 살펴보고, 군집별 특성을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 「한국교육종단 연구 2013」3차, 5차, 7차에서 조사된 24가지 학생의 특성 요인을 분류하고 재구조화하기 위해 탐색적 요인분석을 진행하였다. 이후, 재구조화한 학생의 특성 요인으로 어떻게 군집이 형성되는지 살펴보기 위해 덴드로그램, 엘보우, 실루엣 방법으로 적정 군집 수를 탐색하였고, 실제로 군집이 어떻게 형성되는지 살펴보기 위해 군집 수 2개부터 군집 수 5개까지 K-means 군집분석을 실시하여, 군집 해석이 가능하고, 인원의 배분이 적절한 최종 군집 수를 4개로 설정하였다. 그 결과 중학교 1학년, 중학교 3학년 그리고 고등학교 2학년에서 군집화하여 4개의 유의미한 이질성이 있는 군집이 공통적으로 형성되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 학생의 특성을 종합적으로 고려한 군집별 특성을 분석하고, 살펴본 군집과 비슷한 특성을 가진 개별 학생들의 특성을 분석할 수 있는 이론적 기반을 제시하고자 하였다. In this study, to comprehensively consider the characteristics of students, 24 student characteristics were restructured into common factors. The formation of student clusters based on these restructured characteristic factors was examined, and the characteristics of each cluster were analyzed. For this purpose, exploratory factor analysis was conducted to classify and restructure the 24 student characteristic factors surveyed in the 3rd, 5th, and 7th Korea Education Longitudinal Study 2013. Then, to examine how clusters are formed based on the restructured student characteristic factors, the appropriate number of clusters was explored using dendrogram, elbow, and silhouette methods. Cluster analysis using K-means was conducted for cluster numbers ranging from two to five, and the final number of clusters was set to four, which allowed for interpretable clustering and an appropriate distribution of individuals. As a result, four significantly heterogeneous clusters were commonly formed among first-year middle school students, third-year middle school students, and second-year high school students. Based on these research findings, the study aimed to provide a theoretical basis for analyzing the characteristics of clusters, considering the comprehensive characteristics of students, and for analyzing the characteristics of individual students with similar traits to the examined clusters.

        Summary: Benign fibrous histiocytoma of the knee is a very rare entity. We report on one case of benign fibrous histiocytoma that involved the patellar fat pad, an areas of involvement not previously reported. Diagnostic arthroscopy was performed to show retrobulging of infrapatellar fat pad without specific synovial changes. The lesion was completely resected. At short-term follow-up, all symptoms were resolved. Arthroscopy can be used as an diagnostic tool for identification of intraarticular lesions of the knee, but appears not to be a good tool for clean removal of mass within patellar fat pad.

      • 가전제품의 내부용적 계산을 위한 구멍메움 알고리즘

        Refrigerator has been used across the various fields in society as a device for keeping cold foods or medications. As the refrigeration technology advances, important issue such as enlargement has been arised. It is therefore important that the design having a maximum internal space volume in a limited space are very important. The internal space of refrigerator is consisted of a component such as a door and the inner case. The volume calculation of that is performed by a Boolean operation function of the 3D CAD software. However, many pre-processing operations by the user, such as hole filling and construction closed space by filling in the gaps between parts take a lot of time. In this research, we developed a decomposition modelbased automatic volume calculation program of refrigerator internal space satisfying the interior volume measurement standard. Though we have developed the program by applying to refrigerator assembly, application of the program can be extended to the assembly made up of many parts.

        곡면 병합을 이용한 금형 수정 가공의 단차 최소화

        Die and mold are the most effective method for manufacturing parts. After a die or mold is used for a long time, it can be deformed or worn down or partly damaged. For the cases, it is welded with additional materials to be machined in repairing area with the original NC data for initial machining. However, this repairing process may cause microdrops at the boundary of repair machining area, since the used die might be deformed due to various reasons including residual stress or heat stress by welding, in addition to the error from the setup for the repair machining. This study is to develop a method to generate adapted NC data for repairing a deformed die, which can reduce the microdrops at the border of repair machining area. As a result, it cannot only negate or minimize the time and cost for removing the microdrops on repaired die surface but also can improve quality of the final products. Even though the proposed method was applied to dies for car body parts, it is not limited to the auto industry but can be extended to the other die and mold industries.
