Lameness of front limbs or hind limbs was occurred in German Shepherd dogs firm one brood bitch between 5 and 6 months of age. Physic81 examinations revealed pain associated with deep palpation of the affected area(u1nar, humerus, tibia, etc). But, no significant result was found for the clinical test including complete blood test and so oa Radiographic examination showed an increased radiopacity in the region of the nutrient foremen. Panosteitis was diagnosed on the basis of breed age, clinical signs and radiographic signs.

Artificial insemination with frozen canine semen using vaginal endoscope was performed in a two years old Golden Retriever to investigate the feasibility of this technique. The bitch was in her second estrus. Blood progesterone concentration was evaluated every two days to decide the timing of insemination since vaginal bleeding was observed. Insemination was performed twice in 48 hours interval on the fourth and sixth posterior to LH surge, respectively. The volume of frozen semen injected was 1.5 ml $(1{\times}10^{8}$ sperms/1ml of semen). The bitch was pregnant and she whelped a female pup on sixty one days after first insemination.

Fat is a good energy source and plays an important role in healthy cells, brain function, and cardiovascular health. Drone pupae are rich in fat and composed of various fatty acids. This study investigated the effects of drone pupa fat extract on inflammatory responses in skin cells. After inducing an inflammatory response in HaCaT cells using IFNγ, the effects of drone pupa fat extract on the expression of cytokines and chemokines, which are cell signaling molecules were examined. Changes in the expression of 25 out of 105 signaling molecules were inspected. The detected molecules are involved in wound healing, cell regeneration, and antimicrobial production. These results are expected to be used as industrial materials to protect human skin from harmful environmental effects.

Parkinson's disease is a representative neurodegenerative disease in recent century. In this study, we confirmed the effect of Korean propolis for the prevention of Parkinson's disease using the SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cell line. The cytotoxicity concentration of MPP+ as a factor of Parkinson’s disease for the SH-SY5Y cell line was confirmed at 200 μM. In this concentration of MPP+ showed overexpression of α-synuclein protein as a Parkinson's marker and induced apoptosis. And propolis was inhibited apoptosis and α-synuclein expression by MPP+. The cytoprotective effect of propolis for MPP+ toxicity was appeared difference followed by treatment condition. Pre-treatment of propolis has most effectively for inhibition of apoptosis and overexpression of α-synuclein. In addition, pre-treatment with propolis increased the amount of CREB protein expression in which related cognitive function. And activation of apoptosis marker such as PARP and caspase-3 were also effectively inhibited by pre-treatment of propolis. These inactivation of various apoptosis molecules was influenced by SAPK-JNK phosphorylation. Especially, we found that Jak-Stat signaling cascade protein expression was related in MPP+ toxicity and propolis prevention for the first time. Through this study, we showed that propolis was very effectively in Parkinson’s disease prevention and clarified the molecular mechanism by propolis. Therefore, we suggested that propolis can be usefully to prevent neurodegenerative disease.

Bee pollen is collected in the form of dumplings by gathering nectar and enzymes on their hind legs when bees collect nectar from flowers. Recently, nutrients in bee pollen have been reported that the nutrients are effective for various diseases such as prostate enlargement and cancer. In this study, the anti-prostate cancer effect was investigated by selecting pollen from the most research reports, darae pollen ( Actinidia arguta). In order to confirm the purity of the pollen, it was observed using a microscope and a scanning electron microscope (SEM), and the identification of the pollen was confirmed the darae pollen ( Actinidia arguta 85%, Amorpha spp. 14%) through genetic analysis. Except for Bax among the apoptosis related proteins increased in the expression level of the pollen extract. AIF was also increased, which seems to have led to the initiation of apoptosis due to the release of AIF in the mitochondria into the cytosol. Akt, a protein involved in promoting cell division, decreased and the amount of BCL-2 protein also decreased according to pollen extract concentration. In conclusion, it was confirmed that the apoptosis related protein increased and the cell division promoting protein decreased, according to this result, the darae pollen extract was effective against prostatic hyperplasia or prostate cancer.

이러닝 시스템의 가장 중요한 부분 중 하나가 인증이다. 왜냐하면 적법한 학습자가 학습 시스템에 접속해서 학습하고, 평가 받는 것은 매우 중요하기 때문이다. 하지만, 대부분의 시스템이 학습자의 아이디와 패스워드를 사용한 인증을 사용하고 있다. 이 경우에 해커가 어렵지 않게 아이디와 패스워드를 해킹할 수 있다. 또한, 학습자가 자신의 정보를 다른 동료에게 주어 대신 평가를 받는 수 있다. 이와 같은 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 생체 인증 방법이 보완으로 필요하다. 이와 같은 방법은 상대적으로 많은 비용이 들고 또한 거부감이 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 키스트로크 방법을 이용하여 학습자가 적법한 학습자인가를 판단하는 방법을 제안하였다. 또한, 키스트로크 시스템의 성능을 위해서 통계와 신경망을 적용하였다. 그 결과, 키스트로크의 인증에서 FRR과 FAR의 성능이 개선되었다. It is important for users to be confirming in e-Learning system, because legitimate learner should be joined to the system for learning and testing Thus, most system for authentication was verified using id and password with learner's id and password. In this case, It can be easy for hackers to steal learner's id and password. In addition, some learner gets another to sit for the examination for one with another person id and password. For the solution like this problem, it needs a biometrics authentication for complement. This method is required so much extra cost as well as are an unwanted concern. Therefore, we proposed keystroke technique to decide which learners are righteous or unlawful in this paper. In addition, we applied statistics and neural network for the performance of keystroke system. As a result, the performance of FAR and FRR in keystroke authentication was increased by proposed method.

Beeswax is a hydrophobic substance secreted by the wax glands of young worker bees and is used in the construction of beehives. Beeswax finds applications across various industries such as medicine, food additives, food coatings, and preservatives. This study evaluates the general composition and nutritional value of beeswax. Beeswax is primarily composed of over 90% crude lipids and carbohydrates, with carbohydrates having the highest content. Proteins are present in minimal amounts. Beeswax contains a total of six minerals, with potassium (K) being the most abundant at 11.05 mg/100 g. The fatty acid content in beeswax is notably high at 10.2 g/100 g, with over 80% being saturated fatty acids. Through this research, the nutritional value of beeswax as a versatile material has been analyzed, providing fundamental data for its utilization in various industries including the food sector as additives.
