This paper presents a study on the effects of feedrate and shotpeening on the fatigue life of A17075-T6 specimens. For this purpose, six groups of specimens, each of which consists of eight specimens, were first machined at six different feedrates(0.05, 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, 0.25, 0.30mm/rev). Half of eight specimens in each group were then peened and the others remained un-peened. Then, the fatigue life was measured by using 4-point rotatry bending machine. One observation was that the fast the feedrate was, the large the diameter of a specimen was. To make sure that the bending stress was the same in all cases, different loading conditions were thus applied to specimens based on their diameters. Next, comparison of fatigue life among twelve sets of specimens(six groups times two sets, peened and un-peened) was performed. Finally, based on machining cost analysis, a guideline for optimal feedrate was presented.

Objective : The correlation between age of onset and symptoms/severity of panic disorder has not yet been determined. The aim of this research is to determine the different clinical features of panic disorder according to the age of onset. Methods : Patients diagnosed with panic disorder were placed into two groups according to onset of age. The subjects were checked for 13 different panic symptoms presented in the DSM-IV. The investigation was also executed by severity, the anxiety sensitivity index, the scale for depression and anxiety. Results : The early onset group had significantly higher frequencies than the late onset group in the areas of "choking feeling" and "derealization or paresthesia". It was found that only "choking feeling" was statically significant as a risk factor of early onset panic disorder. Among the objective anxiety scale, the subscale of psychological anxiety was higher in the early onset group compared to the late onset group. Conclusion : "Choking feeling" was the only panic symptom that showed a significant difference in accordance with onset age. Earlier onset patients tend to experience a more frequent "choking feeling," which is related to respiratory symptoms. This could mean that earlier onset patients are more likely to have higher psychological anxiety.

In the present study, an experiment was conducted to investigate saturation efficiencies of air washer, the energy consumption and heat recovery efficiencies for fin-coil type air washer systems. In recent semiconductor manufacturing clean rooms, the energy consumption of outdoor air conditioning systems represents about 45 % of the total air conditioning load required to maintain a clean room environment. Meanwhile, there is a large amount of exhaust air from a clean room. From an energy conservation point of view, heat recovery is therefore useful for reducing the outdoor air conditioning load for a clean room. In the present work, an energy-efficient outdoor air conditioning system was proposed to reduce the outdoor air conditioning load by utilizing an air washer to recover heat from the exhaust air. The proposed outdoor air conditioning system consisted mainly of a preheating coil, an air washer, two stage cooling coils, a reheating coil, a humidifier and two heat recovery cooling coils inserted into the air washer and connected to a wet scrubber.

최근의 반도체 제조용 대규모 클린룸에서는 도입 외기를 가열가습 및 냉각감습하는 외기공조시스템의 에너지소비량이 클린룸 환경을 유지하기 위해 필요한 전체 공조에너지의 약 45 %를 차지하고 있다. 특히 동기(겨울철)의 경우 외기를 가습하기 위한 에너지소비량은 매우 높다. 따라서 에너지절감을 통한 제조비용 절감 및 온실가스 감축을 위해 외기부하와 관계되는 공조에너지의 사용효율 증대 및 철저한 사용합리화가 요구되고 있다. 따라서 반도체 클린룸용 외기공조시스템의 핵심 가습방식인 증기가습과 수분무가습 방식에 대한 소비전력량을 분석하는 것은 에너지절약적 측면에서 상당히 가치가 있다고 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 전극봉식 가습기에 의한 증기가습방식 및 에어와셔에 의한 수분무가습방식 외기공조시스템들의 공조프로세스 및 소비전력량을 외기량1000 ㎥/h 의 경우 기흥지역의 동기 및 하기의 피크부하에 대해 비교하는 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과들로부터 에어와셔 수분무가습 외기공조시스템이 전극봉식 증기가습 외기공조시스템보다 연간 소비전력량이 적어서 에너지절약적임을 보여주었다. In modern large-scale semiconductor manufacturing clean rooms, the energy consumed by the outdoor air-conditioning system during heating, humidification, cooling, and dehumidification of the incoming outdoor air represents about 45% of the total air-conditioning load required to maintain a clean-room environment. In particular, the energy required for humidification of the outdoor air in winter is very high. Therefore, evaluation and comparison of the energy consumption in key humidification systems, viz., steam-humidification and water-spray?humidification systems, used in outdoor air-conditioning systems would be useful to reduce the outdoor air-conditioning load in clean rooms. In the present study, an experiment with an outdoor air flow of 1000 ㎥/h was conducted to compare the air-conditioning process and energy consumption in outdoor air-conditioning systems with electrodeboiler steam humidifiers and air-washer water spray humidification systems. The experimental results showed that the water-spray?humidification-type outdoor air-conditioning system consumed less electrical power than did the steam-humidification-type system and was more energy efficient during winter.

멀티미디어 저작물의 저작권 보호를 위한 대표적인 세가지 기술에는 DRM, 디지털 워터마킹, 그리고 스테가노그래피(steganography) 등이 있다. 첫째, DRM은 업체들이 기술표준화보다는 경쟁적으로 자사기술을 적용한 제품을 출시했다. 때문에 동일한 콘텐츠임에도 회사별로 DRM 기법이 달라 콘텐츠를 타사 제품에서 실행할 수 없을 만큼 호환성이 낮아 일반이용자들이 사용을 기피하고 있다. 둘째, 디지털 워터마킹은 원본을 손상시킬 뿐 아니라 판매를 위한 원본 복구비용이 높아 실 용적이지 못하다. 셋째, 스테가노그래피(steganography) 기법은 상용화 비용이 낮은 파일끝(EOF) 삽입이므로 쉽게 해당 영역이 노출되어 사용자에 의해 삭제되는 등의 문제가 있다. 이에 본 연구는 스테가노그래피의 문제점인 쉬운 노출과 삭제 등의 문제를 해결하고자 한다. 첫째 삽입되는 저작권 정보를 특정 영역에 고정시키지 않고 다양한 영역에 분산함으로써 사용자가 잘라내기 등의 변형을 시도하더라도 삽입정보가 포함된 이미지 블록들을 찾을 수 있도록 한다. 둘째, 이미지/동 영상 파일의 특정범위에 직접 저작권정보를 삽입하는 것이 아니라, 만들어둔 키 값을 적용하면 해당영역에 존재하는 값이 삽입 정보로 변환되어 추출되도록 한다. 즉 원본의 어떠한 변형도 가하지 않으면서 원본의 변형여부를 확인할 수 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

Comparison of fatigue life among ten sets of specimens is presented.
