The purpose of this study was to consider the factors about non-existence of the physical education in the early Middle Agee of Europe. In those days, people thought "the body"(the flesh) is the obstacle to a spiritual activity, and the spiritual activity is the only way to obtain the real Idea and spiritual relief, There were many factors to become these situations, e.g. social, political, thought factors, but, the latest was the most important factor. Unfortunately those days physical education was faced with the thought of body contemplation. Owing to these classical thoughts (Platonism, Epicureanism, Stoiciam and Neoplatonism), physical activity has bean more disdained. Christianic thoughts (of St.Paul and Catholicfather St.Augustinus) also had a bad effect on them. People got a feudalistic, and manorial society, so they were reduced to poverty. Because of those systems, people could not have time of recreation and physical activity but labor. And then, they had "the Non-Existence of physical education and the Ages of Darkness in physical education".

The physical education of the chivalry in the medieval ages in Europe was developed from “the medieval darkness”in answer to a need of those times. Scholasticism was a subject to restrain physical activity, and feudalism and manorialism made those people into a state of non-physical activity. A development of the medieval city by the Crusade War awoke the citizen to find their value, and that society was changed into a new cultural world. In conclusion, the great significance of the physical education of the medieval ages in Europe was the connecting function from the darkness to the Humaniticism of Rennaissance.

Purpose: Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (MP) is associated with the exacerbation, timing, and onset of asthma. The goal of this study was toelucidate the impact of MP on eosinophil-related hyper-reactive amplification in atopic children. Methods: We studied 48 patients with MP (26 atopic,22 non-atopic), between 3 and 12 years of age. Serial changes in blood eosinophil counts, serum interleukin-5 (IL-5), and serum eosinophil cationicprotein (ECP) levels were measured in atopic and non-atopic children with MP upon admission, recovery, and at 2 months post-recovery. Serum IL-5and ECP levels were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays; eosinophil counts were measured using an autoanalyzer. Results: Serialchanges in serum IL-5, ECP, and total eosinophil counts were significantly higher in atopic patients, relative to non-atopic controls (P≤0.001). SerumIL-5 and ECP levels were significantly higher in atopic patients at all three time points tested, while eosinophil counts were higher in the clinical recoveryand follow-up phases, but not in the acute phase. Furthermore, among atopic patients, serum ECP levels were significantly higher in the recoveryand follow-up phases than in the acute phase. Conclusions: The present study demonstrated significant differences in eosinophil counts, serum IL-5,and serum ECP levels between atopic and non-atopic children with MP at admission, recovery, and 2 months after clinical recovery. These outcomesare suggestive of eosinophil-related hyperreactivity in atopic children, with this status maintained for at least 2 months after MP.

The spirit of the Wharangdo made a great contribution in which the Silla could have been accomplished the unification of the three states. The Wharangdo system had been systematically originated by King Jinheung of the Silla to enlist the talented man in unifying the three states. The five commendments of monk Wonkwang told them that Wharangs should behave serving for their country. The five commendmensts, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, were the fundamental thoughts of Wharangdos idealism. Also Wharangs, the youth corps, had absorbed in horse riding, archery, hunting, stone-throwing, darting, chookgook(ancient football), soobak(ancient taekwondo), ssireum(Korean folkwrestling), heavy luggage carrying, running race and sword dance. Their military sports at the beginning of three states in wartime developed their characteristic to civil art after the unification of Silla.

The purpose of this study was to obtain an understanding and information in Judo techniques. Throwing motions were chiefly dealt with, for they are cardinal and basic techniques in Judo. Two male Judo players of national team-level were filmed, then one falling player of them was analyzed in this study. Through the film-analysis of throwing motions, the results were following, 1. In movement time of the center of gravity, Kada-kuruma had the longest, while Tai-otoshi and O-uchigari the shortest one. 2. In momentum of landing of the body, Kata-kuruma was the greatest, while Yoko-otoshi the smallest. 3. We should teach throwing technique from a smaller one to the geater in mechanical momentum, and Ukemi (falling method) should be chiefly taught for beginner.

The prevalence of allergic diseases in children has increased for several decades. We evaluated the correlation between pollen count of weeds and their sensitization rate in Seoul, 1997-2009. Airborne particles carrying allergens were collected daily from 3 stations around Seoul. Skin prick tests to pollen were performed on children with allergic diseases. Ragweed pollen gradually increased between 1999 and 2005, decreased after 2005 and plateaued until 2009 (peak counts, 67 in 2003, 145 in 2005 and 83 grains/m3/day in 2007). Japanese hop pollen increased between 2002 and 2009 (peak counts, 212 in 2006 and 492 grains/m3/day in 2009). Sensitization rates to weed pollen, especially ragweed and Japanese hop in children with allergic diseases, increased annually (ragweed,2.2% in 2000 and 2.8% in 2002; Japanese hop, 1.4% in 2000 and 1.9% in 2002). The age for sensitization to pollen gradually became younger since 2000 (4 to 6 yr of age, 3.5% in 1997 and 6.2% in 2009; 7 to 9 yr of age, 4.2% in 1997 and 6.4% in 2009). In conclusion, sensitization rates for weed pollens increase in Korean children given increasing pollen counts of ragweed and Japanese hop.
