Caustic ingestion can produce a progressive and devastating injury to the esophagus and stomach, In the acute stage, perforation and necrosis may occur. Long-term complications include esophageal stricture, antral stenosis and the development of esophageal cancer. Endoscopy should be performed as soon as possible in all cases to evaluate the extent and severity of damage, unless there is evidence of perforation. Endoscopy is the diagnostic procedure of choice. However, when the endoscopy cannot be passed through due to esophageal stricture, upper GI barium studies may be useful as a follow-up measure and in the evaluation of complications. A 44-year-old man visited our hospital complaining frequent vomiting 1 hour after ingestion of unknown amount of hydrochloric acid. At the time of arrival, the patient's oral cavity was slightly swollen and erythematous. On the endoscopic examination fourteen hour after the caustic ingestion, marked swelling of the arytenoids and circumferential ulceration with brown and black pigmentation at the upper esophagus were observed. Four weeks after the caustic injury, upper esophageal narrowing was observed and then the scope could not be advanced to the stomach. Upper GI barium study performed at that time revealed diffuse luminal narrowing of the esophagus and concentric luminal narrowing from prepyloric antrum to pylorus with disturbance of barium passage. At a week after the Upper GI study, through endoscopic examination after bougie dilatation of the esophagus, barium impaction in the stomach and the pylorus was noticed.
체육수업 요인별 적용이 여학생들의 수업참여태도에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 초, 중등교육에서 신체적, 생리적으로 체육수업에 가장 부정적인 반응을 나타내는 고등학교 여학생들을 대상으로 체육수업 기피, 재미, 교사지도유형 요인과 교육과정 관심, 선호도 요인 적용이 체육수업 참여태도에 미치는 영향을 도출하여 여학생들의 체육수업 활성화 방안을 모색하고자 서울 시내 11개 인문계 고교 여학생 1106명을 대상으로 자기평가 기입법(self-administration)을 사용하여 설문내용에 응답하도록 한후 경로분석을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출 하였다. 첫째, 여학생들은 체육수업 상황에서 체육수업내용, 시설, 환경적 요인 보다는 교사지도, 수업 안전성, 불공정한 수업평가 요인으로 인하여 체육수업을 기피하는 것으로 나타나, 체육수업 상황에서 수업 지도방법 개선과 학생들을 많이 이해해 주며 안전하고 유연하게 대하는 방향과 평가의 공정성을 인정받는 방법이 여학생들의 체육수업 참여태도에 긍정적으로 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 체육수업 재미요인 적용 중 ``경쟁과 시합,`` ``대인관계,`` ``정신-신체적 건강`` 요인 적용이 체육수업 참여태도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 체육수업 교사지도 요인 적용 중 ``훈련과 지시,`` ``권위적 행동`` 이 체육수업 참여태도에 정(+)의 영향을, ``긍정적 보상,`` ``사회적 지지,`` 요인적용은 부(-)적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 교육과정 관심, 선호도 요인은 체육수업 참여태도에 상당한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. In order to explore a plan for the activation of female students` engagement in physical class by deriving the influence on the attitude toward physical class engagement of the application of the factors of physical class aversion, fun, and teaching types of teachers as well as the factors of interest in the curriculum and preference, taking as the subjects female high school students who show the most negative reactions to physical class among other students in elementary and secondary education, this study has reached the following conclusions by carrying out a path analysis after making 1106 female students from 11 academic high school students reply to the questionnaire in the method of self-administration. First, as it has provedthat the female students avoid physical class not due to the factors of class contents, facilities, and environment in physical class situations but due to the factors of teachers`instruction, class safeness, and unfair class evaluation, we can see that the method of improving methods of class instruction in physical class situations, understanding students much, treatingthem safely and flexibly, and trying to making the evaluation recognized in its fairness works positively for female students` attitude toward physical class engagement. Second, it has been observed that the application of the factors of ``competition and contest,`` ``interpersonal relationship,`` and ``mental-physical health`` among other fun factors of physical class has positive (+) influence on the attitude toward physical class engagement. Third, it has turned out that the application of the factors of ``training and direction`` and ``authoritarian behavior`` among other factors of teachers` instruction in physical class haspositive (+) influence on the attitude toward physical class engagement, while the application of ``positive reward`` and ``social support`` has negative (-) influence. Fourth, the factors of interest in the curriculum and preference have considerable influence on the attitude toward physical class engagement
