Purpose: This study conducted an epidemiological investigation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa urinary tract infections (UTIs) following cystoscopy at Chilgok Kyungpook National University Hospital. Materials and Methods: From May 16 to July 15, 2022, among 353 patients who underwent cystoscopy, 6 patients reported febrile UTIs following cystoscopy. They were admitted to the urology department of the hospital after visiting the Emergency Department. P. aeruginosa was found in the urine cultures of 4 of the 6 hospitalized patients. During the epidemiological investigation, no changes were observed in factors such as the reprocessing procedures for endoscopic equipment. Therefore, microbiological tests were performed using environmental samples derived from the endoscopic equipment and cleaning process. Results: P. aeruginosa was identified in a dual-enzymatic detergent (EmPower) used during the endoscope cleaning process. After changing the disinfectant and cleaning process, no further bacterial growth was observed in subsequent microbiological tests. Conclusions: This study highlights the potential of cystoscopes to serve as reservoirs for bacteria due to inadequate cleaning during the disinfection process. To minimize the risk of infections following cystoscopy, it is important to pay close attention to the reprocessing and cleaning of cystoscopes.
A study on a partially-open bogie fairing to improve anti-snow performance of a high-speed train

The concept of a partially-open bogie fairing has been proposed to attenuate snow accretion on bogies as well as to reduce the aerodynamic drag for high-speed trains. Numerical simulations were performed on the EMU-320 model of Korea Train eXpress running at 320 km/h with changes in the bogie fairings using Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes simulations. The area of the positive pressure coefficient inside the bogie region increased as the open area became smaller. The incoming flow to the bogie region was concentrated at the front open area along the bogie regions, and the incoming streamlines did not go outside due to that the rear area was closed. They prevented a flow coming from under the train because they occupied the inside volume of the bogie region. The incoming flow from under the train was controlled to relieve the snow accretion inside the bogie regions by changing the front open area. This condition led to not only dissipated vortical structures at the bogie but also drag reduction comparable to that of the perfectly-closed bogie fairing.

The purpose of this study is to reduce the costs required to proactively prevent the turnover intention by the results of personality type of locus of control. which is the behavioral outcome of the members of the organization. Based on this problem consciousness, the present study focused on the personal characteristics of the members of the organization in the enterprise. Among the individual characteristics, the intentions, which are distinct from others, are called personality, Focusing on the locus of control among these types of characteristics of the organization members, the study about how these control positions affect their job involvement and their turnover intention. The results validated in this study are summarized as follows. Among the personality types of the organization's members, internals are found to have higher job involvement than externals. In addition, it was found that internals among the personality types of the members of the organization lower the meaning of turnover intention than external member. In order to overcome uncertain management environment and create and sustain a competitive advantage in the organization, management has a weight-oriented trend and Increasing job involvement in organizational members and lowering their turnover intention will lead to continued productivity, among other things, important management items that managers and managers should pursue. Given these aspects, it is deemed necessary to analyze the personality aspects of the members of the organization and to transform and manage a new management mindset that leads to the enhancement of the personality as an internal rather than an external one and the task immersion of the members of the organization based on it.
Autonomous Drone Path Planning for Environment Sensing

Recent research in animal behavior has shown that gradient information plays an important role in finding food and home. It is also important in optimization of performance because it indicates how the inputs should be adjusted for maximization/minimization of aperformance index. We introduce perturbation as an additional input to obtain gradient information. Unlike the typical approach of cal-culating the gradient from the derivative, the proposed processing is very robust to noise since it is performed as a summation. Exper- imental results prove the validity of the process of spatial gradient acquisition. Quantitative indices for measuring the effect of theamplitude and the frequency are developed based on linear regression analysis. Drones are very useful for environmental monitoringand an autonomous path planning is required for unstructured environment. Guiding the drone for finding the origin of the interested physical property is done by estimating the gradient of the sensed value and generating the drone trajectories in the direction which max-imizes the sensed value. Simulation results show that the proposed method can be successfully applied to identify the source of the phys-ical quantity of interest by utilizing it for path planning of an autonomous drone in 3D environment.
Landscape Simulation Model 분석을 이용한 자연 휴양림내 건축물의 시각적 영향에 관한 연구

본 연구는 자연휴양림에서 경관에서 가장 영향을 미친다고 판단되는 건축물을 건축함에 있어서 거리에 따른 Landscape Simulation Model 을 사용하여 자연휴양림의 자연경관과 건축물과의 조화요인이 되는 경관의 평가 특성과 경관 구성과의 상호의존 관계를 규명하기 위해 수행하였다. 본 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 종합적 선호도에 대한 평가 결과 전반적으로 거리와 관찰자의 위치 및 식생이 평가에 영향을 미치고 있는 요인임을 알 수 있었다. 즉 숲의 외곽부인 임외와 임내 공통으로 관측자와 건축물의 거리가 근접함에 따라 종합적 선호도에 대한 평가가 낮아지고 있음이 판명되었다. 2. 거리에 다른 관측 지점에서 건축물과 전후의 경관 구성이 전경과 중경 및 원경의 구성이 명확한 경우가 단순한 경관 구성에 비해 높은 평가치를 보이고 있다고 판단한다. 3. 식생에 따른 평가치를 분석한 결과 낙엽 활엽수림의 평가가 침엽 활엽수림의 평가에 비해 평가치가 상대적으로 낮게 나타나고 있어 건축물이 입지하는 주변의 식생이 평가에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인으로 작용하고 있다고 판단 되었다. The aim of this study was to explain the relationship between the landscape organization and evaluating factors to harmonize the buildings with natural landscape using the landscape simulation models controled the distance and obtain some knowledges about the introduction of buildings into the recreation forest. Through this study, the results were summarized as follow. As the distance got to be near, the evaluation of comprehensive scenery and natural quality became low. At the survay points according to the distance the clear landscape organization showed a high value of scenery in comparision with the simple landscape organization. As the coniferous forest showed more high value in comparision with the deciduous forest, the forest type surrounding cottage is impotant factor evaluating the landscape in the recreation forest area.
