`Purpose: We report on the clinical efficacy of the combined operation of corneal tattooing and amniotic membrane transplantation on the treatment of bullous keratopathy in patients with poor visual potentials. Case summary: We performed corneal tattooing and amniotic membrane transplantation in 7 eyes with bullous keratopathy. Postoperatively, we assessed the status of corneal reepithelialization, postoperative pain, and cosmetic effects. In all cases but one, corneal reepithelialization was successful without pain, and the corneal tattooing persisted throughout the follow-up period. In one case, a corneal epithelial defect developed, so we performed an additional amniotic membrane transplantation. After 2 weeks, the corneal epithelial defect healed and caused no further pain. Conclusions: The combined operation of corneal tattooing and amniotic membrane transplantation is a good choice for the treatment of bullous keratopathy with regard to cosmetic problems, pain, and poor visual potential.`

The steam generators of OPR-1000 plants have Alloy 600 and Alloy 690 as the tube material and its tube expansion method is the explosive expansion method. According to the experience of these plants, circumferential cracks were largely occurred in steam generator tubes expanded by the explosive expansion method and their locations were the outer surface of tube expansion transition region surrounding with piled-up sludge. But even though tubes have the same conditions, tubes with the hydraulic expansion method shows the prevail trend of axial cracks compared to circumferential cracks. Therefore in this study, in order to identify the difference of such phenomena as above, configurations of tube and tubesheet were modeled and at operating conditions, stress values applied in the tube expansion transition area in accordance with tube expansion methods were calculated by using computational program and the direction and the predominance of cracks were evaluated. 한국표준형원전(OPR-1000)의 증기발생기 전열관은 관재료로 Alloy 600과 Alloy 690이 사용되고 있으며 전열관 확관방법은 폭발확관법이 적용되었다. 원전 운전경험에 따르면 전열관 확관법으로 폭발확관법이 사용된 증기발생기의 전열관들은 원주방향 균열이 잘 발생하였으며 그 위치는 전열관의 확관천이부위 외면이었고 슬러지에 의해 둘러싸인 지역이었다. 그러나 같은 조건의 전열관이라도 수압확관법이 적용된 경우는 원주방향 균열보다는 축방향 균열이 우세한 경향을 보여왔다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 상기와 같은 차이를 규명하기 위하여 전열관과 관판의 형상을 모델링하였으며 확관법에 따라 운전중 조건에서 전열관의 확관천이 부위에 작용하는 응력의 크기를 전산프로그램을 사용하여 계산하였고, 균열의 방향성과 우세성을 평가하였다.

이 논문에서는 이동통신 단말기보조금이 단말기시장에 미치는 사회후생효과를 분석하였다. 우선 2008년의 휴대폰 모델별의 가격, 판매량, 제원을 이용하여 단말기의 수요탄력성을 추정하고, 휴대폰제조업자의 최적화를 기반으로 마크업을 계산하였다. 이러한 작업을 바탕으로 단말기보조금으로 인한 소비자잉여 및 생산자 잉여의 변화를 추정하였다. 그 결과 단말기보조금으로 인한 생산자잉여 및 소비자잉여의 증가가 단말기보조금보다 커서 전체적으로 사회후생이 약 1조 9천억 원 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 단말기보조금 전부가 이동통신서비스 시장의 소비자잉여감소로부터 발생하였다는 가정을 한다면, 양 시장을 통털어 소비자잉여가 약 9천억 원 감소하게 된다. 하지만 단말기제조사의 단말기보조금이 이 금액을 넘는 것으로 알려져 있는 바 이 경우 소비자잉여가 증가한다. 결론적으로 단말기보조금이 일방적으로 소비자부담으로 귀결되는 것만은 아니라고 할 수 있다. This paper analyzes the effect of mobile handset subsidy from mobile carriers on the social welfare of handset market using 2008 data. For this purpose, the price elasticity of handset demand is estimated using prices, sales volumes, and specifications of handset models. Mark-ups of handset makers are also estimated under the assumption of profit maximizing behavior of handset makers. By employing these two estimates and other reasonable assumptions, social welfare change in the handset market is estimated. According to the estimation, the increase of social welfare due to handset subsidy was greater than the handset subsidy itself, leading the social welfare surplus of 1,900 billion won. If we assume that the entire handset subsidy comes from the revenue of mobile services, consumer surplus decrease was estimated as 900 billion won. Since it is reported that subsidy from the handset manufacturer exceeds the amount, it can be inferred that there is a net increase of consumer surplus. In conclusion, it is hard to conclude that handset subsidy is only burden on consumers.

In this paper, we have checked a method of performance evaluation for electronic pedal, which is a core technology of HBD for detecting the axle temperature of high-speed train. As it is practically impossible to conduct train speed test of 500 ㎞/h, we utilize a high speed rotor for evaluating high speed performance of the electronic pedal instead. According to this method, we found that the measurement results by the velocity measuring instrument is similar with the ones from this research through the high speed rotor. In conclusion, it will be possible to conduct reliability evaluation for high speed performance for Beacon, Balise and RFID, which are utilized for transmitting vital information of train control systems through using the rotor.
