신냉매인 R-404A를 사용하여 저온특성이 우수한 한냉물리치료기를 개발하였다. 임상평가를 통해서 침온도계를 슬관절 강 내 및 둔부근육 내에 삽입하여 직접 근육온도를 측정하였고, 적외선체열촬영기를 이용하여 표피온도를 객관적으로 측정하였다. 슬관절 부위에 대한 5분 동안의 한냉물리치료에 따른 표피 및 관절강 내 온도변화를 측정한 결과, 표피는 23.3${\pm}4.7^{circ}C$, 관절강 내는 4.1${\pm}1.0^{circ}C$의 온도저하를 보였으며 2~3시간이 경과한 후에도 한냉치료효과가 지속됨을 알 수 있었다. 냉기치료 후 둔부근육에서 측정된 최저온도는 2, 4, 6cm 깊이에서 각각 35.1${\pm}$0.7, 36.2${\pm}$0.4, 36.9${\pm}0.3^{circ}C$였고, 이에 도달하기까지의 시간은 각각 20${\pm}$3.0, 25${\pm}$4.5, 45${\pm}$8.5분이었다. 치료 후 2시간이 경과한 뒤의 온도는 근육의 2, 4, 6cm 깊이에서 각각 36.2${\pm}$0.5, 36.6${\pm}$0.3, 36.9${\pm}0.3^{circ}C$였고, 치료 전에 비해 유의한 온도 차이가 있었다. 또한 5분간 한냉을 가하는 동안 피부 및 근육 내에서 온도의 증가, 즉 반응성 혈관확장은 관찰되지 않았다. 본 연구를 통해서 개발된 한냉물리치료기는 근육의 연축 혹은 강직, 물리적 외상, 화상, 동통의 감소, 관절염 등에 효과적으로 사용되리라 생각된다. A cryotherapy system using cold air was developed. The developed system had superior low-temperature characteristics with various flow rates and nozzle sizes, and used R-404A, as a coolant, which has no destructive effects of Ozone layers. Flow rates and the treatment time can be easily altered during the operation. In addition, and alarm system was designed for the overload, overheat, and over-charge of the machine. For clinical applications, skin temperatures, intra-articular temperatures of the knee joint and intra-muscluar temperatures of the gluteal muscles were measured during and after the cryotherapy. After a 5-minute therapy, skin and intra-articular temperatures decreased by $23.3{\pm}4.7 and 4.1 {\pm}1.0^{circ}C$, respectively. A 5-minute cryotherapy was good enough to maintain low intra-articular temperatures for 2-3 hours. Resting intra-muscular temperatures in 2, 4, and 6cm deep in the gluteal muscle were $36.5{\pm}1.2, 36.9{\pm}0.2, 37.1{\pm}0.2^{circ}C$, respectively (p<0.05). Lowest temperatures in 2, 4, and 6cm depth were $35.1{\pm}0.7, 36.2{\pm}0.4, 36.9{\pm}0.3^{circ}C$, respectively (p<0.05). Temperatures after a 2-hour cold air application on the skin and in the muscle in dept도 of 2, 4, and 6cm were $32.2{\pm}1.1, 36.2{\pm}0.5, 36.6{\pm}0.3, 36.9{\pm}0.3^{circ}C$respectively (p<0.05). Temperatures on the skin and in the muscle significantly decreased after 2 hours, compared with before cold air application (p<0.05). The intra-muscular temperature was changed more slowly than the skin temperature, and the deeper the muscle, the lesser temperature changes. The effect of a 5-minute cold air application lasts up to 2 hours, and it seems that the rebound-rise of the temperature dut to the reactive vasodilatation does not occur in the gluteal muscle.
노인에서 대장 내시경 선별 검사의 임상적 효용성: 대한장연구학회 다기관 공동연구

Background/Aims: Currently, screening colonscopy is widely performed in the medical field. The initial time of screening is recommended at an age of 50 years, but the age to cease screening is unknown. Accordingly, we have investigated the diagnostic yield of colonoscopy according to indications in the elderly, and we evaluated if screening colonoscopy is useful in the elderly. Methods: We recruited asymptomatic individuals undergoing screening colonoscopy according to age (2830 subjects aged 50-74 years and 111 subjects ≥75 years-old), The colonoscopy findings of the study subjects were compared. In addition, colonoscopy findings of asymptomatic subjects more than 75 years-old were compared with the findings of symptomatic subjects with the same age. Results: The yield for overall neoplasia and advanced adenoma was higher in the group of subjects ≥75 years-old than in the 50-74 years age group (overall adenoma: 49.54% versus 24.98%, p<0.001; advanced adenoma: 16.2% versus 8.23%, p=0.003). The overall frequency of neoplasms was higher in asymptomatic subjects ≥75 years-old than in symptomatic subjects ≥75 years-old (49.54% versus 28.19%, p<0.001). Conclusions: The prevalence of advanced adenoma increased with age. Screening colonoscopy was still significantly effective in elderly subjects ≥75 years-old. The lack of a decline in the frequency of adenoma, including advanced adenoma, justifies continuing screening colonoscopy in the elderly. (Intest Res 2008;6:25-30)

Duplication of the alimentary tract is an unusual congenital anomaly which may occur at any level, from the oral cavity to the rectum. Jejunal duplication cyst is quite rare and most of them are presented in infancy with the symptoms of abdominal mass, obstruction, hemorrhage and perforation. But some cases has not been diagnosed till adult if duplication cyst was too small enough to cause symptoms. We report a case of a 28-year-old woman who presented with recurrent gastrointestinal hemorrhage as a result of an ulceration without ectopic mucosa in jejunal duplication cyst and was successfully treated with surgery.(Korean J Med 61:264-269, 2001)
연구보문 : 적심정도가 감초의 생육 및 품질에 미치는 영향

감초의 적심정도가 생육 및 품질에 미치는 영향을 구명하고 감초 재배의 기초 자료를 얻고자 적심정도를 경장의 20% 등 4처리를 두어 2008년부터 3년간 시험한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 적심 유무에 따른 감초 경엽 생육은 초장, 분지수, 절수 및 경엽중은 무적심에서 양호한 경향이었으나, 경태는 가늘은 경향이었고, 적심정도 간에는 경태를 제외하고 적심비율이 적을수록 양호한 경향이었다. 2. 포복경 생육은 무적심 처리에서 양호한 경향이었으며, 적심정도에 따라서는 적심비율이 적을수록 양호한 경향이었다. 3. 뿌리의 생육은 무적심에 비하여 적심처리에서, 적심정도 간에는 주근장과 지근장은 20% 적심에서 길었으나, 다른 근생육은 40% 적심에서 양호한 경향이었다. 4. 근수량은 40%>60%>20%>무적심 순으로 많았으며, 40% 적심시 상품 근수량이 무적심 300kg/10a에 비하여 25% 증수 되었다. 5. 글리시리진(Glycyrrhizinic acid)의 함량은 20%와 40% 적심에서 무적심 1.35% 대비 각각 0.31%, 0.09% 높았다. Growth and quality according to top-precision degree of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer were tested by 4 treatments including 20% rate cutting of branch-top during 3 years from 2008. Growth above ground part of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer with or without topping-plant height, branch number, node number, weight of stem and leaf-was good tendency without topping but stem diameter was less. growth above ground part among topping ratio was the less topping ratio the better except stem diameter. Growth of surface runner was good tendency without topping. growth of surface runner among topping degree was the less topping ratio the better. Root growth was higher without topping compare to topping. Length of main and supporting root among topping ratio was longer in 20% topping treatment but root growth except root length was good tend in 40% topping. Weight of root was high 40%>60%>20%>no topping the order, marketable yield in 40% topping of height was increased by 25% compared with no topping as 300kg/10a. content of Glycyrrhizinic acid with 20% and 40% topping of height was increased by 0.31% and 0.09% compared to no topping as 1.35% respectively.

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of cultural soil textures on growth and quality of Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fischer from 2009 to 2010. The obtained results from this study were summarized as follows; The growth of stem and leaf were superior to one year old G. uralensis, and surface runner and root growth tended to be better in 2 years old G. uralensis. The weight of stem and leaf were heavy in sandy loam, and plant height, branches, stem diameter in sandy clay loam were better than other soil texture. The growth characteristics, such as length, number and weight of surface runner, was better in order of sandy clay loam > sandy loam > loamy sand. The length of main and lateral root was longer in loamy sand soil than other treatments, and the diameter of main and lateral root was more thicker in sandy loam than others. The number of lateral root was higher in the sandy loam than other treatments. The yield of main and lateral root was in order of sandy loam > sandy clay loam > loamy sand soil. Marketable root yield of one year old and two year old G. uralensis were increased 57% and 71% in sandy loam compare to a loamy sand as 204 kg/10 a, respectively. The content of glycyrrhizinic acid was the hightest as 1.62% in sandy clay loam soil in one year old, and as 1.58% in sandy loam soil in two years old of G. uralensis, respectively.
Electrodeposition 변수에 따른 Sn 도금의 표면 거칠기와 플립칩 접속된 Sn 범프의 접속저항

플립칩 공정에 Sn 범프를 적용하기 위해 도금전류밀도와 전류모드에 따른 Sn 도금막의 표면 거칠기와 경도를 측정하였다. 전류밀도 $5{\sim}50\;ma/cm^{2}$에서 전기도금한 Sn 도금막은 $2.0{\sim}2.4{\mu}m$의 표면 거칠기를 나타내었으며, 직류모드보다 펄스모드로 형성한 Sn 도금막에서 표면 거칠기가 감소하였다 할로겐 램프를 사용하여 $300^{\circ}C$에서 3초간 유지하는 표면 열처리에 의해 Sn 도금의 표면 거칠기가 $1\;{\mu}m$ 정도로 현저히 저하되었다. 전류밀도 $5{\sim}50mA/cm^{2}$에서 전기도금한 Sn 도금막은 10 Hv의 경도를 나타내었다. Sn 범프들을 이용하여 플립칩 본딩한 시편들은 $33{\sim}17m{\Omega}$의 낮은 접속저항을 나타내었다. Surface roughness and hardness of the electroplated Sn were characterized with variations of electroplating current density and current mode. The Sn electroplated at $5{\sim}50mA/cm^{2}$ exhibited the surface roughness of $2.0{\sim}2.4{\mu}m$. The Sn electroplated with pulse current mode exhibited low surface roughness compared one processed with direct current mode. With surface annealing at $300^{\circ}C$ for 3 sec using halogen lamp, surface roughness of the Sn bump was substantially reduced to $1{\mu}m$. The Sn electroplated at $5{\sim}50mA/cm^{2}$ exhibited the hardness of 10 Hv. Low contact resistances of $33{\sim}17m{\Omega}$ were obtained for specimens flip-chip bonded with Sn bumps.
